I cant imagine there is a lot of people on a scooter going 50mph consistently. I've only gone 45 on my RS and that shit aint no joke. The torque on these scooters is very high even at high mphs. The new rs looks exactly the same to me as far as wiring placement. Kind of curious what they changed. My new controller motor is in and have not received the error code since. Hoping for consistency now. It was pretty easy to lift the deck though. Ive never felt the stock tires and went straight to pmt tires and it feels very solid. Im sure as spring comes and i ride it more I will see higher speeds. My torque damper really tightens the stem. It feels kind of weird at first but you get used to it.... trying to find an ideal ride setup has been the fun part. I am curious about daytona.....but the teverun fighter supreme 11 also has my eye.
I would be nervous to go over 50 on the RS due to the reports of speed wobble. It seems to me that you have to tighten down so much to reduce the speed wobble, that it would seriously limit the smoothness of the steering IMO. I am glad you got your new motor controller! Is it 60amps or 50 amps? Do you know? I think the Teveruns have a tendency to have speed wobble as well. They are too fast for their own good, LOL!
@@ElectricScooterGuy I guess ill find out on speed wobbles when hit 50+. At 45 it feels the same as going 25. I still have some room for tightening on the steering damper and its already pretty stiff. There were no markings on the contoller for amps. I would assume it was just a direct replacement of oem. Acceleration seems more controllable for some reason. its not as jerky. I would say 90% of the time im between 30 and 40. Im still waiting on my full face and body armor. dont really want to full send without full gear.
@ Keep me posted! I don't blame you for wanting to get better gear before going over 40 for sure! Some people have more problems than others with speed wobble, maybe because of riding style or whatever. I just don't like the idea of finding out at inopportune times, LOL!
Yeah, I'm curious to see what the specs are and exact changes they made to the new in motion RS. Hopefully they will continue to offer a light version as well.
There may be things that aren't immediately noticeable for sure! I hope they do as well, but I wish they would have updated the look too. Especially since they decided to abandon the RS name completely. I still don't get that....
@ElectricScooterGuy Haha yeah anything would be better than a complete new name. I was surprised to see the Klima back in stock at fluid, maybe that's a good sign or I was thinking maybe they are selling inventory out of their store locations?
@@retroshaverdude6671 Yeah, not sure, but I was surprised to see the Klima back in stock for sure! I will be keeping an eye on it and I really hope it's a good sign but only time will tell. 🙂
It's why i like my burn e 2 Max with PMTs.(So torquey and suspension is amazing!!) Nami kept the same design for a few years (5+?). Made upgrades along the way and fixed the stem issue but stuck to the cool tubular design that i like. It just has sophisticated look to me overall. Inmotion didn't stick around with the RS design for certain reasons for very long at all if they are for sure changing. Nami is due for a change for sure but i just liked that they liked their own burn e 2 line for a number of years instead of just changing after maybe a year plus being out on the market.
The only thing I think that Nami could do with most, if not all of their scooters is make the stem a bit more beefy. There is too much flex in the stem and I am about to have to lubricate the joint for the second time is a few months because of the stem creaking when riding. The RS design looks the same to me. The name changing from RS to V9 seems to be the biggest noticeable difference to me, LOL! I hope Nami comes out with a beast scooter with a dual stem! 🙂
I must admit, that it the one thing that I really don't understand about that scooter. Hopefully, you can remove them easily, because I would be trying to remove them right away.

Do you mind sharing which company you got the steering damper from for your Inmotion RS also where did you place it?
@ I think the RS comes with an internal steering damper installed already. You have the ability to tighten it or loosen it to your preference.

@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah they should have just done like Nami did with the burn e and call it the rs2.

@ElectricScooterGuy I agree! The stem isn't the best but so far no issues. I prefer dual stem
@@cocoabiscuits Yeah for sure!!
Maybe inc the new 60a controllers standard
That would be interesting! Have you heard this?
Teverun?
I haven't looked at the Teveruns much to be honest. They seem popular, but I have seen some stability issues with them from what I have seen.
The new Daytona scooter has those weird foot pegs. So strange.

Does it still not have traction control system? For their selling price it should be for sure, but it's not. Deal breaker.
Yeah, you would think for that price they would have traction control, but I haven't heard anything saying that they were going in that direction.
