ohhh it was the eagle one, in the discord i said zero10x/turbowheel lightning but they're the same scooter, T10 DDM or whatever the titan model name was lol. But he looks to have either the V2 or the Pro. The varla pegasus i had was the same grey/blue accent colour way, but solid 8" tires. the new version has 9" knobbies i believe.
Yeah cant remember exactly but I'm pretty sure it was the Varla Eagle One V2.0 that buddy had. Dual 1000w motors though he mostly ran it in single mode to conserve on battery range. It had 10x3.5" tires same as mine and was very comfortable to ride, although the suspension was much more stiff feeling, wasn't nearly as springy. Regardless a very cool scooter, with pretty much all the same specs as my Klima.
@@KrakenRides tell him to look it up, never ride in single motor unless its wet or youd skid out elewise. companies have already started removing the option. the front motor acts as resistance which causes the controllers to work twice as hard causes them to overheat and possibly fry em. you get less range in slngle motor because offor this. ginger has done videos on it and large threads on df msg boards explain.
@@pevns oh hm, this is the first time I've ever heard of that. That definitely doesn't sound like a risk worth taking with a dual motor scooter. I'll have to do my own research. I've seen a lot of conflicting opinions regarding whether running your scooter in dual or single motor mode is better for range anyway. Some people say single is better but then others say dual is better because power is evenly distributed between both motors and so they don't need to work as hard.
@@KrakenRides yes plus a front wheel with a motor acts as active resistance. It doesn’t spin freely like a wheel without a motor, just the opposite. Set your scooter up and free spin the wheel either way motor compared to the front without..
i can meet you here some day if you're down. My dad cycles there so i can chuck my scoot in the back and park near the golf course, or the start of blt/rails w trails dirt section that goes for 40km. (I love the humm of hybrids on pavement haha, ppl turn around to see whats coming 20 ft away) Edit: ugh the ppl doubling up grinds me gears.
@@pevns lol same here, I tell people my scooter is my car basically. I hate the stigma I get trying to explain to people that its not just solely for recreation that I use it for. I loathe using public transportation so I use it for pretty much everything nowadays: commute to work, groceries, drs appts, etc. I dread the winter season when I'll likely have to retire the scoot for a while.

dual splits the power output in half spread across.
