For scratches I know they suck but I clean them and use a sharpie. Not perfect but it’s a Quick fix and makes me feel better.
Yeah, I do the same thing. You can't tell from far away, LOL!
would love to see these scooters push past 72v and 40 amp and keep it at a price range under 4 and not slack on quality
That would be nice! I am certain it's possible, but the pressure from competition is going to have to heat up first. Scooter enthusiasts seem way too eager to jump on an overpriced scooter as soon as it releases for that to happen right now! Things will change, just not sure how long it will take.
@ElectricScooterGuy yea they wilding but a 96v for the new emove would be wild to see i want more distance then more speed we don't need a 100mph scooter
@@daryl_luv Yeah, no kidding!! It would be better to have a 100 mile range scooter as opposed to a 100mph scooter that will never be used at that speed, for the most part.
@ElectricScooterGuy exactly i hope they read your comment on voro daytona video
so I contacted voromotors about more information about project Daytona and they gave me your video for information 🤣
Yes,KAABO is filing bankruptcy.they make good 👍 scooters 🛴.😲
That's so odd to me! They do make good scooters and it's well known that they do. I know they have been having trouble getting parts for customer issues, but I am not sure why.
Nice I actually just hit 500 miles on my burn e and I've had it for just over a year. I'm really hoping fluid doesn't go under either, I think I saw that it was chapter 11 bankruptcy and they weren't able to pay back their creditors. I always thought Kaboo were decent scooters, but I think there are some quality control issues going on.
Well, Chapter 11 isn't the end of the world. Hopefully they can pull themselves out of it! Kaabo surprises me to be honest. I would think a scooter company as well established as Kaabo would not be so heavily leveraged in one area that a small hiccup would cause such a disastrous outcome. They likely aren't managing their business affairs and have been flying by the seat of their pants thinking they had plenty of time to deal with issues. Just my take on it.
@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah I'm hoping they can pull out of it. I'm really surprised with Kaboo as well, it seems like they were one of the early pioneers of high-end scooters. I know Michael Shaw was originally with them and left to startup Nami. Maybe he didn't like the direction they were going?
@@retroshaverdude6671 Interesting! I hope Kaabo and Fluid pull out of this. I think they are both decently positioned in the market, but it's also about business management as well.
Handlebar Management - May be my term, can be difficult on an e-scooter, more so than a bicycle, probably because scooter handlebars tend to have a shorter width than those on bicycles, so you may have to juggle items like (extra) head lights, mirrors, horn/bell, phone holder, cam/camera and bags/basket attachment points. Also, some scooter handlebars are fat or irregular and/or not like a typical bicycle. Scooter handlebars on my cheap scooter has an inside groove that prevents bar-end type mirrors. Having at least 1 mirror was always important to me, as riding on the street feels so vulnerable, especially on a slower scooter that can't quite go traffic speed. So, w/ 2 scooters and 3 bicycles, I was always juggling items from these 5 rides to find the best configurations. I almost bought a cheap handlebar extender I found on Amazon for like $12, and still may. But in the back of my mind, I was also concerned w/ total weight, as I was usually unsatisfied with my scooters' low top speeds, so I try to keep accessories to just those needed and used.
I don't mind trying to rearrange the "Handbar Management" on my scooters. I am lucky enough to have two brands that are fairly easy to work with though. I agree about having mirror(s) when riding in the street! I realized that right away once I started riding and had to turn all the way around to check for traffic!
I side with Voro Motors, because i think it is wrong to echo complaints second hand. There are "many" people who complain about everything, and people seem to take the complaints of one or two people has being indicative of a systemic reality. People without problems rarely speak up. If a thousand people get good customer service and 20 people don't, the judgement will be they give bad customer service, which is wrong. There is no organization or business that doesn't have some un-happy users.
I appreciate your perspective. Thanks for the feedback! 🙂
Great points 💯
Thank you sir!
I've always heard that Dualtrons are well build solid scooters, but many people don't like the stiff suspension, low stem height and square wave controllers like you mentioned. They have been fairly overpriced for a while but have finally come down some it seems. Not related to this video, but I did watch a Yogi Steve video last night where he heard that Fluid Free ride filed for bankruptcy....I really hope this isn't true.
They do seem a bit pricy compared, even for the Thunder 3. Their scooters seem to be very solid though. That is really interesting, I didn't see that yet! There goes out lifetime support and warranty from Fluid! More companies are going to suffer until they start fixing the things that are wrong and start taking customer feedback seriously. I am not sure that is the sole reason for the bankruptcy, but it certainly contributes. I thought it was interesting that Fluid hasn't restocked the Klima or the Burn-E 2 through most of this holiday season. There are more and more scooters going out of stock. I am sure that Yogi Steve has good information, but I will be keeping an eye out for sure. I don't think he is affiliated with them, so I hope it is just a rumor.
@@ElectricScooterGuy I posted a reply to this about what I found online regarding them going bankrupt, but it looks like my reply got deleted?
@@retroshaverdude6671 That's strange, lol. Maybe try again....? Did you post a link? Sometimes RUclips blocks them for some reason.
@@ElectricScooterGuy I didn't post a link, but maybe the RUclips deep state didn't like what I posted haha. Basically I did find that they actually filed for bankruptcy back in October so you may want to stock up on any extra parts while you can still get them at 50% off in case they close their doors. At least with the Nami's you can always get spare parts from Ali express.
@@ElectricScooterGuy It looks like they keep deleting my posts....very strange.
these companies need to hear what the people are experiencing and if it's wrong prove us otherwise they shouldn't be mad when you bring awareness and want them to improve also i blew through one of my controllers which was sign wave 3 months in the shop and haven't got it back that's why I wanted the review on thunder 3 because of the square wave controllers if im paying high price for a scooter I shouldn't be breaking through a controller
That's right! They should use those opportunities to get better and not play damage control by putting the blame on the dissatisfied customers. Yeah, if you have already burned up a controller, I would definitely go with a square wave on your next one. Just curious, are you a "pedal to the metal" kind of rider? Not saying that's bad, just trying to see if it is mostly with aggressive riding, or is this just an issue with sinewave controllers in general.
@ElectricScooterGuy It depends really I'm kinda both but im also careful I ride in nyc so there's no reason for me to do 50+ mph unless I'm on a highway or some special roads that require me to do so
@ElectricScooterGuy im in the same boat as you im looking for another scooter and seeing other options i had bad luck with my last scooter only used it for 4 months then had issues but that was my fault for going with a cheap brand with out doing any research on them I'm looking at the dualtron storm after this review im kinda hesitate of the rs because I herd to many controller issues with them and one youtuber had issues right out the box with one of the rs yes the customer service helped him but he ain't the only person who had different type of problems with the rs they currently upgrading the rx7 with the light and screen display so I'm intrested in seeing that but I'm more focus on customer support reliability and longevity when shopping and it looks like square controllers is where it's at for it
@@daryl_luv I gotcha. I hope I don't burn mine out on my Klima. It's not worth having to replace them every X amount of miles that you can get out of them before failure.
@@ElectricScooterGuy exactly
Exactly. A complaint is a cheap form of feedback, room for improvement, an opportunity to improve. That's why a complaint should be heard. A weak or rare complaint will not be shared by a good percentage of Consumers. A product sold online depends heavily on its ad, and ad media, like pictures and videos, and doesn't require a physical store for sales. So, the ad should be accurate, with sufficient and clear information that a customer can believe - especially since an online ad can be corrected, clarified and updated quickly and easily. An ad with obvious errors appears unprofessional and doesn't build the trust the company hopes to win for subsequent sales. Customers should not be concerned the product they bought online by a company they haven't heard of, MAY actually be a scam, and slow shipping w/ no tracking info aggravates that worry. Legitimate companies would do well to under-promise and over-deliver.
You are 100% on point! The way these companies handle these types of situations will dictate their future success or failure. I am here to help shed light on those situations and how companies decide to handle them. The rest is up to them. 🙂
I heard that also that square wave controllers are more reliable.that is a fair tradeoff.😊
Yeah, I hadn't considered that, but it makes sense!
Now this is the type of content I've been looking for
Thank you very much!! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
thank you for another great video and huge thanks for looking at gspace and im mad voro showed off the scooter but didnt show how it rides or give specs like now i gota wait for next video
Thank you very much!! I tried to get some more information from Voro about the new scooter, but they didn't give me anything.
@ElectricScooterGuy I feel like waiting until next year to buy a scooter to many things we are hearing about that has me excited also what you think about the dualtron thunder 3 please do a review
@@daryl_luv Yeah, I'm curious what's coming out as well. I will take a closer look at the Dualtron Thunder 3. 🙂
I was into scooters then the onyx and surron then finally I settled into EuC life. My second scooter I was ready to upgrade ordered and received from Voro and had the worst CS experience so I put less than 10 miles on the scooter and returned it. I might buy in person after an inspection of what i bought but not online with them ever again. They sent me a scooter with an easy to spot defect that made the ride dangerous. These companies are resellers, mostly a middleman. Service for out of state purchases is self service.
Thanks for the info! Do you mind sharing more about your experience with Voro? How long ago was this? Which scooter did you order? What was the issue? Yeah, it's interesting how they will allow random customers to service and repair their own scooters and still honor the warranty. It is really a sign of how valid the warranty is. They have to manage that somehow. Usually trying to fix your own device would automatically void the warranty. For good reason! You don't know the expertise of people working on their own scooters, LOL! Thanks again! 🙂
Yeah I'm going to be curious to see if they actually released this model for sale and how much it sells for. I think it's a good idea for you to do a video about the customer service after the sale, I think that's really important since some of these things cost upwards of $4,000.
No question about it! no one wants to drop $4000 on a scooter only to have issues that they can not get addressed in a timely and courteous manner. I wouldn't pay more than $4000 for any scooter on the market, no matter how cool! There is no scooter worth that much money IMO. I am hoping $3000 - $4000 when it releases. I am not holding my breath though, for the release date or the price! 😂
@@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah I agree, it was hard for me to pay almost $2,500 for my Nami with my military discount... I couldn't imagine paying more than that for something that will give me the same results and do what I need it to do.
@@retroshaverdude6671 That's not a bad price at all for the Burn-E! I have a hard time rationalizing paying much over $2000 myself. Especially when the $4000 ones seem to have the same problems, if not more. I am not saying I would never do it, but when I step back and really look at it, it's very difficult for me to validate spending that kind of money for one.
@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah I was actually going to get the Klima Max but I figured for $200-300 more I might as well just get the Burn E. The only reason to spend $4,000 for a scooter is if you want to go 65+ mph which is something I would probably never do on one of these things. The key is to get one of these models that has been out for at least a year with all the bugs worked out for about $1000 less than it was originally selling for.
@@retroshaverdude6671 Yeah, for sure! Those are the best deals. The new untested scooters bring the price down of the solidified ones!
Hey e scooter guy what are your thoughts on the Roadrunner rs5 Max and what upgrades or mods would you recommend I do to it. I just ordered one with a steering damper and I'm actually stunned it came to $2,697.15 with shipping when the inmotion rs lite is only $2,499 right now on sale. I can already tell the rs5 Max gonna need the upgraded 11" PMT B Stradale tires & more lighting any other recommendations to do to the rs5 Max if I don't cancel it asap and get the rs lite or the wolf warrior 11 pro+ for $2,500 😂😂
Are you ordering from outside the US? Shipping seems to be free on my end when I add it to the cart. I would have been surprised if it came out to over $2500 too considering it is on sale for $2199!! I think the scooter is a good price in that range though and I like the idea of putting PMTs on it for sure!
@ElectricScooterGuy Nope I'm on the Eastcoast. I think the 2,199 price tag is before taxes cause I doubt it was the extended warranty but it did come with a phone holder, a handcuff style lock and $150 gift card to Roadrunner website for tires, batteries, fast chargers etc. Now I kind of wish I would of got the rs lite🤦♂️
Yeah I was gonna just get the pro but I actually thought that the dampener and the LG 32ah battery came on the max until checkout I had to add it to my cart plus everyone's feedback on the pro all said they loved the scooter but they just regret not getting the Max's 32ah cause they were all pulling less than 20 miles from the pro's generic 23ah battery.
@@JohnJones-dg6lb I gotcha! Hopefully shipping was free because it says free shipping for me.
@@JohnJones-dg6lb I see what you mean. I thought it came with a steering damper too. It's cool that you get the $150 to card, lock and phone holder!
Reasons I could be impressed by a new scooter or it's company: 1. It arrives without shipping damage. 2. Sometimes related to #1 above. It seems well protected by packaging, ideally recyclable cardboard or paper, but if necessary, plastic or foam. 3. It's the right product (the model ordered). Preferably, obvious by the external packaging, so a consumer need not even open the final box to know it is. Reduced product returns is best for all parties. 4. It has product Instructions, and they are easy to read, clear, in English and all languages the product is for. Sometimes this means Instructions printed in a readable, size font. Maybe separating SAFETY points in Yellow or CAPITAL LETTERS or repeating them, and repeating them. 5. Product Instructions should be clear, and not assume the customer has knowledge or experience they may not. 6. The product should include all reasonable tools needed to assemble and use it, OR be clear from the start what is commonly needed. Included tools should be of reasonable quality, and not break on the first use! 7. Obvious errors a User could make should be clearly noted. If I could put it together wrong, I may. Duh. 8. All Product Support options should be listed, like support phone, email, and website FAQ or Live and/or Automated Chat on or through product ad and Instructions. Do not keep customers waiting for days for insufficient answers. And, when responding to a product support request, reference all related support replies, to increase support solutions. 9. Things break and wear out! Have replacement parts available on the day product is released to Reviewers. Repeat customers make a better product. 10. Give products names a consumer can easily understand or differentiate from others. Is it a 'Pro', 'Max', or 'V2'? 11. Don't 'play games' w/ pricing, such as a low product price, but unreasonably high shipping costs.
Good points! 🙂
Merch, Coffee and Patreon. Actually, there are 3 more ways to 'support' the channel, via video 'LIKES', 'Comments' and (Channel) 'Subscriptions'!
Yes, you are correct! There are maybe more than that even. It's just a reminder that I have these things if anyone is interested in supporting in that manner. I appreciate all the support I can get!
I am excited to see this scooter. I got plenty of time to save until summer. hoping its a good price point :D
Its gonna be atleast $6,000
It needs to be $3000-$4000 in my opinion. They don't have a scooter for this segment of the market and it's a large segment! That's just my input. I will not be the slightest bit interested for more than $4000 even if it is the best scooter on the market. But that's just me.
@@JohnJones-dg6lb That would be a big mistake IMO. I wouldn't even consider getting one at that price to be honest. They have a $6000 scooter. If they aren't selling enough of them, it's not because it's a bad scooter, it's just a very small segment of the market that is shopping for a $6000 scooter. If they drop the price of the Roadster to $4000 and price this one at $6000, I will suddenly become a fan of the Roadster, lol.
Me either I just ordered the Roadrunner rs5 Max and it came to $2,697.15 I would have gotten the inmotion rs lite I tried to cancel my order and they were gonna take 15% of the order that's almost $400 long story short if I knew it was gonna cost 3 grand I would of just gotten the rx7 I should see if they'll just let me upgrade to the rx7 and give them another grand but I really want the inmotion rs lite!!
@@JohnJones-dg6lb I hate how scooter companies try to charge people for cancelling an order that you just placed. It's not like they have sent the scooter out already! Even if they have, you haven't evened opened the box yet. They should cancel it for you and offer 100% refund, period!
They're talking about 84 or 96volts, im thinking 6-7.5k USD price range. That scoot looks sturdy. I love how they are asking the consumers for input before releasing
I saw that, but in this case, I think it's a bad idea to ask people what they want. People are going to be excited and tell them to max it out. At least the ones that are excited enough to respond. The problem is, they already have a 6K scooter, but not a 3-4k scooter. They will continue to miss out on that market which is a large segment of the scooter market. There are way more people willing to pay 3-4k than 6-7k, including me. 4k is the most I would pay for any scooter on any planet, lol. I don't care how fast it can go, how far it can go, how cool it looks, or how many bells and whistles it has. Hopefully there are some business minded people to keep overzealous designers in check! Maybe they should have different versions of the scooter, 72, 84, and 96....
@ElectricScooterGuy totally agree 🎯. 3k is max for me though. I'll just get a used motorcycle, mt07 or cb650 going above 4k
@@15longway For sure! Hopefully the price is somewhat reasonable when they do release it, but considering they are still trying to get consumer feedback before finalizing the design makes me think that they may not make it in 2025, but I hope I am wrong.

Next Video Suggestion: How/Why/When to delay a future e-scooter buy, to save money. Obvious Explanation: It's not easy to refrain from buying a 2nd (or more) scooter, especially if you aren't rich. So, consumers ready to enter the scooter market, or buy additional scooters, need techniques from a pro like you, on what to do when the scooter fever bites. I see potential coping techniques may include: 1. Don't fight the feeling. Buy another scooter, (THEN get divorced.) They take up little room, and your living room or kitchen has space. 2. Allow oneself to have another scooter, AFTER selling 1 or more old ones, at good prices. 3. Allow oneself to have a scooter, if it's your first to second one. 4. Allow oneself to have a scooter, only after you pay off a credit card. 5. Allow oneself to have a scooter, when your dream scooter is 10% or more, discounted. 6. Try to convince a family member to buy you another scooter, by promising to let them ride it, and/or giving them your old one. 7. Forget about buying a scooter, by taking up drinking, or a new, dangerous (but exciting) hobby. 8. Forget about buying a scooter, by modding your old one, making it feel, ride, or look different. 9. Forget about buying a scooter, by watching videos of others getting hurt on scooters. 10. Be good and wait for next Christmas. Note: Take it from me, this rarely works, especially if family members don't ride, or want you to live a long time, and/or with no broken bones. 11. Buy life insurance on your ex-wife and let her ride your fastest scooter, daily. Obviously, I'm out of techniques, so I'm going into ISW (Inadequate Scooter Withdrawals) and may have to buy another one.
Haha!! You come up with some doozies!!! 😂🤣😂
I'm bummed to hear about Paul leaving ESG, he's one of the best. I like Mitchell as well and watch his RK9 videos. The VMAX scooters are nice and have a unique look to them. The VX4 with the large battery is definitely a beast and reminds me of my Fluid Vista. I saw a video showing that it will actually pop a wheelie since it's so torquey for a single motor scooter.
Me too, he does the top speed runs of the new scooters because he is the most qualified. You can find videos of amateurs doing top speed runs everywhere, lol. I like the VMAX scooters as well. I think they need some beefier dual motor scooters to add to their lineup, but that's just me. 🙂
Not sure, but I don’t think it will be the same without him, personally.
From the horse’s mouth. He told me.
@ElectricScooterGuy damn, I wonder why he wants to limit himself like that to one brand. I quite like the dude who owns the RK9 channel, I'm sure he'll do fine. Just be very strange without paul
where did you find out about paul?
Rear electronic and front disc / drum brake.
You would think they would use disc brakes for the rear considering having to use disc brakes suddenly on the front might throw you over the handlebars!
One of the absolute laziest and worst videos on the ZT3. You aren't providing any new value. You're reading verbatim from the website and to be honest that more offensive to the people that run into this video, than it is misleading. We can read. If you're going to spend your precious limited time in life making videos, pleae create new value. Don't bog down the algorithm with a review like this. One idea you can definitely incorporate is ChatGPT. Open up the website, make a quick account, and ask the AI to create a script for you to use for the scooter reviews that you're going to do. You can have it write prompts for you in whatever tone you want. It'll compile information for you, create the script you need to read from for you review and it'll even sound more natural with practice. You're gonna figure it out. JUST KEEP IT UP! Best of Luck.
Thanks for the feedback!! My videos are a bit unique, I will give you that. I am like a power user of Chat GPT, hence my logo, LOL. That being said, if you watch some of my older videos(please don't, lol), I did use Chat GPT to create scripts but it seemed too robotic and scripted... I make videos on an almost daily basis and it is meant to be more of a casual daily video style channel versus other scooter channels that you might have gotten used to. I have also changed things up a slight bit since making this video so feel free to watch some of my newer videos(no pressure) and offer additional feedback if you wish. I appreciate your viewpoint and I realize that this content may not be your cup of tea, but thanks again and best to luck to you as well!! 😊
i looked at the solar hyperion and from the reviews I saw it's under power and there working on upgrading the controllers for another version of it apollo needs to step there game up the xtr is amazing inmotion rs is the best one
I think the Hyperion is slow off the line. It seems to be decent in top speed, but not acceleration. I like the Apollo scooters, but every time I put them up against similarly priced scooters, they end up looking overpriced. The XTR has more to offer per dollar for sure! The Inmotion RS might be the best of the bunch, but the wiring issues and lack of customer service when having to get those things fixed makes me really nervous! I have just seen too many stories like this.
@ElectricScooterGuy why im leaning towards the xtr because they have a store in nyc which is close by to me just in case the scooter needs to be fixed and I herd the rs has stabilization problems after 55 mph
@ElectricScooterGuy the apollo needs and update and the hyperion i just don't think for the price is worth it compare to similar other scooters in that price range
@@daryl_luv Is it a Teewing store or a store that sells Teewing scooters? I didn't realize they were in stores at all. Yeah, that's the other thing about the RS that makes me nervous. I don't plan on going that fast very often if ever, but I don't want to find out at the wrong time!
@@daryl_luv I know the Apollo looks cool, but I can't seem to justify spending that much for looks alone, lol. There are other scooters that offer more and look cool too! 🙂
I really like the look of the silver version of the Hyperion, it looks really futuristic. The Mars is really nice and beefy, but very heavy for sure. Apollo needs step up their game and offer a 72 volt big scooter compared to others out there for the same price or less.
I really wanted the new Phantom stellar to compete better with the scooters that I chose, but looking at them side by side, it's difficult for me to rationalize going that direction. The Hyperion is one of the most interesting to me at the moment. It has a lot to offer for the price! It's just a completely new scooter with new features such as split rims that I am still not 100% sold on, but it would be awesome if it holds up! The RS/RS Lite are amazing scooters, but considering the wiring issues and lack of customer support, I am really hesitant to put it at the top of my considerations. It all depends on what all is available at the time and how prices compare.
@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah, I would let the Hyperion get tested out by a few people first, I'm sure the general consensus will be revealed on it soon enough. Supposedly there's going to be an updated version of the inmotion RS coming out next year.. would definitely be wise to wait a month or two to see what pans out on some of these scooters.
@@retroshaverdude6671 I am absolutely in no hurry to make a decision at all. My concern with the an updated version of the RS is an updated price to go along with it, lol. Another issue is that if and when you do have issues, service is really bad! I would almost rather buy a scooter with a history of issues if I knew the company would adequately handle service issues. I am excited to see what's on the horizon though!! 🙂
@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah it almost seems like some of the most reliable ones you can buy now are the second or third generations of a particular model like the Burn E 3 and the Kaboo Wolf King... It's like it takes a year or two for the scooter to be vetted/perfected. I remember waiting to buy my Nami once the latest version had the upgraded steel steering shaft, rear tail light, turn signals and updated display. I had to buy the front turn signal kit once that came out. I feel like it's a complete and good all-around scooter with everything it has now.
@@retroshaverdude6671 A dual-stem Burn-E would be nice! The Apollo Phantom 2.0 version looks more like a slimmed down version of the Pro than it does a follow up version of the Phantom. They should have called it the Pro Sport or something.
I was impressed by the stability and control of that Solar Hyperion, when watching Pete @ R&G, no dampener and it was smooth at 55+. just so many options to choose from. I am for sure waiting till march/april time to see what emove drop, I am not convinced that being the "new cruiser" or whatever. I am stoked to see what you do anyway, it's exciting getting a new scooter :D
Yeah, the Hyperion is interesting for sure! I am definitely in the early stages of finding my next scooter, lol. I am seriously curious about the new Emove scooter from Voro, but my one concern is that they are going to overprice it early on, but I hope not! 🙂
@@ElectricScooterGuy they have the emove roadster, so they would need to make it around the Gspace, kaabo, nami, solar type of price range :D
@@BoozySZN That is my hope as well! They don't currently have a scooter for that segment of the market yet. That makes sense to me.
@@ElectricScooterGuy I am just confused on who, how and why that was coded into that website, someone @ voro had to of written the code and uploaded the image. the damn thing has foot pegs, which is wild!!
@@BoozySZN It's a teaser of some kind for sure. Not sure if that's a prototype of a future scooter or what, but it's something relevant, just not sure exactly what or when, LOL
The GTR is a cool scooter, the only thing I'm not crazy about is it's very high off the ground and has a low handlebar height which is not good for tall riders ha. I would probably spend 500 less to get the regular Wolf King GT.
Yeah, just looking at all options. I like the GT as well. I wish it had traction control to be honest. I think I would get used to it being high off the ground, but I don't know what to think about the low handlebars. It's tough to say without riding it first. That's one of the things that I don't like about the RS is the backward leaning stem and handlebars. I like to lean forward a lot when I am riding. I would assume that lowering the handlebars would make up for that, but I can't be sure. I am 5'10" so I am not certain how that would work out for me. I am tossing so many ideas around right now, lol.
I remember watching some of Yogi Steve's videos and him saying the stem felt low and I think he's like 5'9. I prefer the stem height to be a little higher and don't like to feel crowded or pushed back by the handlebars either. The good thing about the RS is you can adjust the deck height to like four different levels I believe. I'm 6'1 and have my Nami suspension lowered a little bit and added a handlebar stem riser as well.
@@retroshaverdude6671 I feel like the Klima is at a perfect height for me. I am just learning that Voro Motors is dropping all Kaabo products. That's interesting to me. A viewer said something to me about it and then I ran across the story elsewhere since then. I generally hear good things about Kaabo through owners, but I have heard negative things about just about all scooter companies if they have been around long enough to have a reputation. I have probable heard more negative things about Voro than I have Kaabo, but maybe they are trying to clean up their image? Either way, it doesn't make me feel comfortable about getting a Kaabo right now.
@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah I did hear that voro was parting ways with kaboo, I heard that they are building their own facility in China to manufacture all the parts for their models of scooters in house. It looks like they are minimizing the different brands they normally offer to focus more on their own. Emove brand going forward. I don't think Kaboo is better or worse than any other scooter manufacturer, but I would only buy one from fluid at this point in case you need replacement parts or something is wrong with it once you receive it. You definitely don't want to deal with them directly from China.
@@retroshaverdude6671 Good point! Lot's of people have more than one Kaabo and seem to like them. Getting parts seems to be an issue across the board though. I am not in a rush or anything, but hearing this kind of stuff is disheartening. I may just have to go with another Nami from Fluid! 😂
G-space mars over this all day long. having seen Kaabo be dropped by voro this year, voro are branching out to dual stem's honestly I wouldn't touch kaabo, wait to see what 2025 brings bro, don't be too hasty. the gtr is honestly a terrible scooter that always has issues and people think it's uncommon, it's not. nothing but problems.
I have also heard issues with G-Space/Teewing as well. Not with the XTR specifically, but with the Z4 and the service when they had to reach out for help. I don't plan on making a decision very soon and I will be watching to see what is coming for 2025! The XTR is also a strong consideration as well but I will have to see how things play out over the next several months and go from there. Thanks for the feedback! 🙂
@@ElectricScooterGuy all these china companies have iffy customer service, even US based ones give issues. long as I can purchase parts and get warranty when purchasing, I am not too worried. I know g-space are getting UK based service centres soon as well which is really nice to hear.
@@BoozySZN There are some that are better than others for sure! I feel pretty good about most of them, but I am also nervous about most of them as well. I got a Nami because I heard very little negative things about them, but I had problems out of the gate. I really hope they start taking these types of things more seriously. How long have you had the Maxfun? Any issues at all?
I am so glad Voro dropped Kaabo. so many issues with them and parts being available. I am currently a proud owner of a Nami Burn-e max, max fun 10 pro and soon to purchase the gspace mars gtr. my friend here in the UK received his Kaabo Wolf King GTR, upon unboxing the scooter, it appeared the battery or controller was fried/broken, turned out to be the controller, voro had told us there would be a long wait, but not 2 months!! Kaabo are horrendous at customer support, parts and just generally having terrible scooters, nothing but issues. when he got the controller, it broke 3 weeks later, fried the controller, no fault of his own. he sold the scooter and purchased a nami. if voro release a competitor to the burn-e etc that would be awesome!
Kaabo is a reputable brand and Voro is not void of issues by any measure. I am not aware of any scooter company that is to be honest including Nami. I got my Nami with the brakes not working out of the box. The brake sensor was faulty and the rear hydraulic brake had no pressure because of leaking fluid. I had to get old brakes because the new ones were not in stock at the time. This is the new version of the Klima not the old one with the LED strip for a taillight. I have heard negative remarks about every scooter brand out there, but not everyone has negative things to say about any one scooter company more than the other. I am sure people's personal experience will be shaped by their own experience with a given brand or company, but they all have issues. That is not an excuse and I think all of them need to step up their game a bit. Voro is not the best out there, nor are they the worst out there. There are multiple reports including comments that I have responded to on here about Voro not responding for several months at a time when dealing with problems. I replied the same way, that it's not just Voro, but most, if not all scooter companies at the moment. I am waiting for one to emerge as the clear leader in quality control and customer service. They are all trying to push out as many scooters as possible without regard to making sure they are sending problem free scooters out and then dropping the ball when it comes to solving these issues. All that being said, I am aware of the Wolf King GT having issues from multiple sources and I will take everything you said into account. I am always happy to get feedback about negative and positive experiences with scooters and brands! I just wish that I could say that there is one that I have never heard with any issues.
@@ElectricScooterGuy there is issues with all brands, kaabo are just widely known to be causing way to many issues and problems. US base and UK based major distributors have now dropped all Kaabo lines, something tells me that the actual distributors are aware more so than us what kaabo are like to deal with, data behind the scenes on returns and services, warranty. I just think these chinese based companies have kinks in the QC, with all brands. it's how easy I can get parts and getting warranty that is the most important thing for me. Nami, I had no issues with mine, other than having to change that stem, but I have seen people with your type of issues. I think the Klima had a poor launch to be honest. Apollo and Solar, seem to be from what I have noticed, great all round. at the end of the day, it's humans and mistakes do happen, it's just kaabo, had MAJOR problems on the launch of the GTR, batteries, controllers, motors just failing quite rapidly at an alarming rate to the point where voro had weeks to months wait times for parts as Kaabo just couldn't keep up with the issues on launch and warranty was INSANE. when all said and done, kaabo for me is poor quality over all. Iooking forward to see what you decide, it's your money and your choice, either way thanks for the videos.
@@BoozySZN No worries at all! I really appreciate the feedback and these things have entered into my mind quite a bit. I plan on doing quite a bit more research and waiting to see what comes out next year! That being said, it always makes me nervous to get brand new releases due to unknown problems. I don't want to single Chinese companies out alone, but I get what you are saying and you are not completely wrong. Thanks again for the info!! 🙂
@@BoozySZN Just a follow up on this comment: Since reading this comment, I have now ran across another story about Voro dropping Kaabo because of lack of parts availability etc.. Thanks for the heads up!! I really appreciate the info!!
@@ElectricScooterGuy You got to actually test out the customer service. We dont take months to respond, that is just outright false. Actually have alot of CS members on payroll to service 24/7 And I have also called out a lot of comments on FB and Reddit that alot of those making comments that Voro service is non responsive are either not actually our customers or if they said they are not hearing any response from service department is because they used a wrong number or the email address is spelt wrongly.
The big wheel wells - (fenders placed far from the wheels), make the wheels look tiny. But perhaps the distance is necessary for suspension travel? On expensive scooters with the battery for adequate torque and quick takeoffs, I like bigger wheels anyway, for faster speeds and better pothole handling (if my understanding of forces is correct). When young and broke, I once had a 6 cylinder car - an Oldsmobile Starfire w/ auto trans and 14-inch rims, and bought some wheels w/ tires from a junkyard, that fit but had slightly smaller tires. That made endless burnouts from a weak engine suddenly possible! I think back to that car w/ little wheels that could spin them like a muscle car, anytime I see an electric scooter break traction on initial take offs. And bigger wheels could perhaps also better prevent flats and allow for bigger brake discs?
That scooter has to be massive for it to make 12 inch tires look that small!! It's also a bit surprising that it can pull off the fastest 0-15 times with such large tires considering the loss of torque by moving up in tire size. I really think this is an impressive scooter to be honest. There are others that do things better than this scooter, but this scooter does most things better than any other scooter and the most important things IMO.
Check out eahora tiger king

Hey man what lock would u recommend locking up nami klima when u go into shops etc
I use a generic U-Lock and large cable combination. I think it's funny how people will pay more money for something like a Kryptonite lock considering at it's weakest point, they are all about the same thickness. A thief isn't going to try to cut through the largest part of the lock, LOL. I have always used U-Lock for bikes etc.. I even had someone try to break my U-Lock when my bike was locked up by hitting it with a large rock as I could tell by the scratches, but they are solid locks. You would need a serious tool to cut through them, but that would include the Kryptonite U-Lock as well. It isn't going to be able to cut through one and not the other. I also try to lock it up where there are other people around and I try not to leave it locked up outside for extended periods of time if I can help it. 🙂
@@ElectricScooterGuy I use to use a cable lock when I would ride to the bars in Orange Park Florida on the sidewalks, park it overnight around a tree with the cable lock, walk back to my apartment late at night and next day take my truck to pick up my bike. Nowadays that bike be gone the next morning. Ulock sounds smart.
@@EasternAmerica Thanks for the info my friend!
Looks like you have some nice wide sidewalks where you live to ride on instead of having to ride in the street. I can imagine riding in the hills and mountains of CO would be fun for sure. It's pretty flat and boring where I ride here unfortunately. I would just stick with the stock brake setup that came with your Klima...there's a reason Nami used that for the 10 in. tires and all. Haha I'm like you, I hate riding when it's cold and windy out, riding when warm out is much better for sure.
The sidewalks are definitely nice and wide on this route, but other routes that I have to take are not so nice or wide, lol. I don't regret trying the 4-piston set up with the larger rotors, but I am happy with the 2-piston and 140mm rotors for the Klima. I could bundle up and add some layers to help, but I am afraid of messing up the battery to be honest. When I was a kid, I would ride my bike with Ice on the ground and I don't think I even had gloves! 😂
@@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah most of the sidewalks near me are the typical narrow ones where 2 people can barely walk side by side. If it's really cold outside, the battery performance will definitely suffer...supposedly you get around 500-700 charge cycles on average with these batteries, so I don't want to waste any of them lol. I will probably never charge mine that many times, but you never know. I think the best thing you can do is store these things indoors if possible, extreme cold and heat can definitely affect the battery's lifespan.
@@retroshaverdude6671 Yeah, I keep my scooters in doors for several reasons, lol. 500 cycles is like 10 years or more at the rate I recharge at! I might recharge once a week if I am riding a lot. I have maybe charged 4 times since I got the scooter over 2 months ago. I don't mind riding around in the heat. It was no big deal on my Hover-1 Journey Max Scooters. No change in range, no overheating, or any issues. It was pretty hot one day when I had a flat which sucked, lol. I didn't have the Klima when it was super hot out so I don't know how it would do.
Haha yeah same here, I charge my scooters 2-3 times a month on average...I don't use them for commuting, just for recreation and the occasional errand. I've never had issues with the heat either, the controllers on my Burn E are at the front of the deck and catch a lot of wind when riding. I also try not to park in direct sun for long in the summer. I would love to ride a scooter around Hawaii one day....perfect warm weather year round and hills/mountains as well.

What's your thoughts on the Roadrunner rs5 Max I'm getting ready to order it, do think it's worth the $2,199 along with the steering damper which I think is another $159.00?
I like the RS5 Max at $2199. However, I like the RS5 Pro at $1799 more!! The only difference between the two is a name brand battery with more amp hours that I estimate to be around 5 miles or so in additional real world range. With the steering damper added, you are under still $2000 total! That being said, I don't think either of them are a bad deal, I just like the deal on the RS5 Pro slightly better. You can't really go wrong with either. 🙂
1299 would be a total giveaway for the SUPER STELLAR/dual motor version... 1500 I get, but given that it's a NAMI it will take a while for it to reach 1500 if it does -- we need more vendors to carry it and less people to buy it. It's a great ride --- I took it out for a spin at WYRD RYDs. Needs adjustable suspension though..
Nice!! No adjustable suspension on the Super Stellar? I didn't realize. I agree $1299 would be a steal of a deal. I wouldn't want to pay more than $1500 myself, max.
I've never had an NFC chip "key". Sounds funnier than an ordinary key. I've never had a push to start car ignition, yet or smart fob. I just did a quick, general search for them (NFC), and see the acronym is from Near Field Communication. I wonder if the NFC card has a battery, or just a magnet? I searched about that, and have the below finding, but my recent experience with AI searches, show sometimes they're WRONG, so on important searches, I never take a single reference. Wonder if you lose them, if the manufacturer can send you another? "No, NFC (Near Field Communication) chips do not have batteries. They are passive devices that rely on the electromagnetic field generated by the NFC reader (like a smartphone) to power them."
I am no expert, but I have a decent grasp of NFC technology. I could do a video on it, but I am sure most people would lose interest very quickly or avoid it completely, LOL! But, yes, NFC is like a credit or debit card. The information/data is stored on the card itself in the magnetic strip. In many new cards, they actually use NFC chips in the cards. I think most new cards use this. You probably have one right now. In fact, I used an old credit card of mine that is expired to program into my Klima so that I only need the old expired credit card with an NFC chip in it to turn my scooter off and on. Anything with an NFC chip can be used to turn my scooter off and on with the NFC reader. The only thing that needs to have power to it is the reader, not the chip itself. However, once you have lost all of your NFC chips, a company would not be able to send you a replacement to work with your NFC reader. In that case, you would have to get a new NFC reader and cards/chips to be able to turn the scooter on and off again. It's better to get a handful of backups just in case. Whether it is using old expired credit cards or getting an NFC ring on Amazon, LOL. You can actually get these chips in bulk fairly cheaply if there is not much to them on Amazon. For example, you can get 30 NFC tags for $8.99 on Amazon right now and if you programmed all of them to work with your scooter, you would never have to worry about not having a backup... 😂
I like the opinions of those who actually ride scooters 🛴 💯 the Emove dual motor is definitely a sleeper for those of us that want comfort and distance for commuting.
Thanks for the comment! I will be watching the Dual Motor V2 very closely!
I just got nami klima 60v 30 ..unreal and the speed is more than enough and the handling is awsome
Nice! Keep me posted on your experience with the Klima! 🙂
All good scooters for sure. I agree, the inmotion RS light is definitely a great deal right now. Your criteria for your next scooter is all good except for the 10-in tires, I think you already have the best 10-in tire scooter with your criteria haha. There's really nothing like those 11-in tires that are almost 4 in wide... It gives you a lot of confidence when riding over any bumps or cracks in the road. I hope you end up getting the inmotion RS light one day. I keep hearing they're going to have an updated version coming out to fix some of the faulty wiring issues.
I am certainly interested in getting a scooter with 11 inch tires, but it depends what I can find when I decide to make my purchase. There just aren't enough scooters with 11 inch tires that I like within the budget that I am planning on. I would have to give up something else on my minimum requirements to make the purchase. The Inmotion RS Lite is my favorite option at the moment and the Segway GT2 is the only other scooter on my list at the moment that comes has 11 inch tires. It may or may not be available for under $2500 at the time. The Solar P1 Pro is nice, but I like the FF Lite a bit more, but it only has 10 inch tires. The Burn-E 2 is close, but I really don't want a Klima and a Burn-E 2 unless I get rid of my Klima and I am not quite ready to get rid of it just yet! Maybe prices will drop on some of these that are just a bit over my anticipated budget, but I don't know which of them will be or not. What ideas do you have if the GT2 and RS Lite are not available or under $2500 at the time?
@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah I know what you mean, having the Klima and getting a Burn E 2 would be good in one way as you would know how to work on nami's but very similar in many other ways except for the size. I have a feeling the inmotion RS light will stay pretty close to 2500 or so, and there will probably always be a discount code out there. I'm not sure many other 11-in tire models for around $2,500 or less unless you get some off-brand model from Amazon or something like that.
@@retroshaverdude6671 Exactly what I was thinking. I am hoping you are right about the RS Lite being at or around $2500 with a discount code! It will likely be an easy choice if that is the case. I know quite a bit about Nami brakes at this point! 😂
@ElectricScooterGuy haha yeah, I would definitely say if you didn't have a klima, get the Burn E 2 base model. I think it's well worth it and it's not worth an extra $1,200 for the max version.
@@retroshaverdude6671 Yeah the Burn-E 2 Max is overpriced at the moment IMO. I don't think it should be more than $3500 if you ask me and even then, there are scooters that I like better at that price.
