Handlebar Management - May be my term, can be difficult on an e-scooter, more so than a bicycle, probably because scooter handlebars tend to have a shorter width than those on bicycles, so you may have to juggle items like (extra) head lights, mirrors, horn/bell, phone holder, cam/camera and bags/basket attachment points. Also, some scooter handlebars are fat or irregular and/or not like a typical bicycle. Scooter handlebars on my cheap scooter has an inside groove that prevents bar-end type mirrors. Having at least 1 mirror was always important to me, as riding on the street feels so vulnerable, especially on a slower scooter that can't quite go traffic speed. So, w/ 2 scooters and 3 bicycles, I was always juggling items from these 5 rides to find the best configurations. I almost bought a cheap handlebar extender I found on Amazon for like $12, and still may. But in the back of my mind, I was also concerned w/ total weight, as I was usually unsatisfied with my scooters' low top speeds, so I try to keep accessories to just those needed and used.

I don't mind trying to rearrange the "Handbar Management" on my scooters. I am lucky enough to have two brands that are fairly easy to work with though. I agree about having mirror(s) when riding in the street! I realized that right away once I started riding and had to turn all the way around to check for traffic!

Nice I actually just hit 500 miles on my burn e and I've had it for just over a year. I'm really hoping fluid doesn't go under either, I think I saw that it was chapter 11 bankruptcy and they weren't able to pay back their creditors. I always thought Kaboo were decent scooters, but I think there are some quality control issues going on.

Well, Chapter 11 isn't the end of the world. Hopefully they can pull themselves out of it! Kaabo surprises me to be honest. I would think a scooter company as well established as Kaabo would not be so heavily leveraged in one area that a small hiccup would cause such a disastrous outcome. They likely aren't managing their business affairs and have been flying by the seat of their pants thinking they had plenty of time to deal with issues. Just my take on it.

@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah I'm hoping they can pull out of it. I'm really surprised with Kaboo as well, it seems like they were one of the early pioneers of high-end scooters. I know Michael Shaw was originally with them and left to startup Nami. Maybe he didn't like the direction they were going?

@@retroshaverdude6671 Interesting! I hope Kaabo and Fluid pull out of this. I think they are both decently positioned in the market, but it's also about business management as well.

would love to see these scooters push past 72v and 40 amp and keep it at a price range under 4 and not slack on quality

That would be nice! I am certain it's possible, but the pressure from competition is going to have to heat up first. Scooter enthusiasts seem way too eager to jump on an overpriced scooter as soon as it releases for that to happen right now! Things will change, just not sure how long it will take.

@ElectricScooterGuy yea they wilding but a 96v for the new emove would be wild to see i want more distance then more speed we don't need a 100mph scooter

@@daryl_luv Yeah, no kidding!! It would be better to have a 100 mile range scooter as opposed to a 100mph scooter that will never be used at that speed, for the most part.
