Godzilla battle defence force on mobile. Its a fun clicker game
I loved the video, and if I have to recommend some Godzilla games you could try for a potential part 2 they're gonna be Godzilla: Monster of Monsters and Super Godzilla. Maybe you could also make a video covering the mobile ones like Godzilla Run (or something like that), Godzilla Defense Force, Godzilla Battle Line and Godzilla Omniverse (which isn't official) even though I kind of hate all of these.
the 2014 Godzilla got remastered on ps4 and they fixed all the problems like glitches and graphics more classic Kaiju were added as well!! the reason why they cost so much is because they only made a limited amount of disc copies as well as only being on the store for barely a year! if people wouldn't have shit on it so hard it would have produced more copies along with staying on the ps store sadly tho it basically got discontinued and it is now one of the rarest games out there! so yeah after that rant you can probably tell what Godzilla game I loved the most I particularly loved the God of destruction mode and how you could grow your Godzilla!!! I had a heisei era Godzilla that I got up to 132 meters and if I remember correctly the biggest Godzilla someone had was 136 meters I wasn't able to get any higher than 132 tho I wanted that world record but couldn't get myself any bigger sadly

I own Godzilla Unleashed on the Wii and I love it! I play it on my Wii U. The roster of monsters is great! Especially Godzilla 1954! Hearing his original roar and sounds is awesome!
Godzilla PS4 has to be one of the most misunderstood games ever made. As a kaiju simulator, I love it.

If you still have it, I recommend keeping it for the fact that it's a rare gem now. On Ebay, they're charging a lot of money for that game. I know it may seem common for Ebay scalpers, but the fact that you can't find the game in game stores nowadays shows how valuable it is.
The Wii version of Unleashed was a lot better than the Ps2

@@McjellGames The controls are meh, but the graphics are better and there are more monsters. The ps2 version is basically save the earth with a different story mode

@@McjellGames it's mostly the reliance on motion controls. Once you get past that it becomes somewhat fun
@@gavzilla2635 Yh I’m not massive on motion controls which is why I picked up the PS2 version. I think I might give the wii version a chance though :)

One note that I would put in. If you didn’t play unleashed on the Wii you probably didn’t play unleashed. Unleashed on the PS2 was just a port of Save the Earth.
I learned in a Matt McMuscles video that they were trying to port Save the Earth to PSP at the same time that they were making Unleashed. That plan fell through so Atari decided to put the port for the psp on the ps2. Which is why it just seems like a worse version of Save the Earth.
Unleashed wasn’t a great game but it was different and there was fun to be had. I enjoyed it, if that’s anything.
Yh I’ve heard a lot of people recommend the wii port, so I’m definitely on the look out for it :)
One of my favorite things to do in Godzilla ps4 is playing as King Ghidorah, especially shooting the gravity beams while flying

Megalon coming out of the ground is easy, you jump with the right trigger, and you can press the x button for a mid-air tail whip to punish him, and you are also able to outrun him because there is a Sprint by holding left trigger in the game as you walk and the same way you can jump stationary you can hop forward directionally as you walk with the same button. Ghidorah, Orga and Mechagodzilla are fatties so some of the attacks that stagger other monsters won't stagger them. Pressing the A and B button together is particularly effective against these opponents, it grabs opponents and glowing buildings you can throw for damage.
A and down is an uppercut
A and back is an overhead
B and back is a dropkick
B and down is a foot stomp
Tapping Z is different from holding it
X three times is a tail combo
X forward with Godzilla is a launcher
A(punches), B(kicks), and X(kicks) all have different moves depending on which direction you flick the stick as you click the respective button.
Every monster has three moves from a grab, you can press B, or X, for two flashier attacks, or just A for a forward throw. You might do the last one in order to get them away from the power up, or into a green barrier, or a tall building that will fall on them after.
My favorite part of the game is how much higher monsters fly compared to save the Earth, it makes for more fun combos.
The menu theme for Godzilla Unleashed was awesome. Almost unparalleled.
I would rank save the earth and Unleashed higher but i admit im bias to it, destroy all momsters, and Wii verison of Unleash.

My favorite is still Godzilla: Monster of Monsters for the NES. Huge slew of enemies, level stages and boss battles, story mode that works and some of my favorite NES music.
Hopefully there's a new Godzilla game in the works. Seems like the perfect time to make a new one.
My new obsession is Godzilla: Kaiju Wars VR out right now in the arcades. It’s a rail shooter similar to the Jurassic Park games. It’s like riding a roller coaster! You really get a sense of just how big Godzilla and the other monsters are. Really fun!

You pretty much nailed ot with the godzilla (2014) game. If you are a long time fan of Godzilla you will most likely love it. I lucked out and got it for $20 when it went on sale fairly quickly after release.
Best thing about unleashed is the menu music. Never forgot that track
Godzilla series was actually very good. It follows a Godzilla baby (full grown) from the 1998 Godzilla movie. Basically a new monster of the week fights Godzilla show.
I wish the ps3 and ps4 godzilla game came to xbox, i feel if it was on both consoles it would have received the attention and love that it deserved.
Godzilla for ps3 and ps4 is really expensive because there was some licensing issues so it had to be delisted from the PlayStation store and physical copies had to stop production
I got the Godzilla PS4 game for $15 at gamestop a few months before it got delisted. I absolutely love it and I'm so happy to have it considering you can't really get it anymore

About the battle with Megalon on Destroy All Monsters when he goes underground if you jump right before he goes underneath you he wont grab you and will come back up and be dizzy 😉
Also I remember the battle with MechaGodzilla towards the end of the adventure mode he was sooo hard when I finally beat him I was so excited haha 😆😆
So the Wii version of Unleashed is actually a different game from the PS2 version. The PS2 version is the leftovers from a canceled PSP port of Save the Earth that was rushed out the door at the last minute.

Funny, i grew up on destroy all monsters melee and never realized it was hard due to growing up in it lol its definitely my favorite godzilla games but yeah no megalon was definitely annoying lol
Dude I raged so much over destroy all monsters melee. There was cussing, controllers flying, Ghidorah caused many rage quits especially on easy. I was so pissed I had smoked half a pack of reds.
Godzilla generations was like the original Godzilla ps3

Watching these videos of the Godzilla and Kong games makes me more hype about the new movie. Maybe in the new movie Kong at the end dies to a big ass crab haha. Also would you consider doing like a cheeky meter for each game depending on how good it is out of 10 like in the fifa vids?

I know the Godzilla from USA is not 10/10 but, like the transformers movies mostly, I have a legit blast watching stuff going on, great timing as you said and a great chance to sail the web to grab some of these to wait for the movie.

My favorite Godzilla game will be Godzilla PS4 since I always wanted a Godzilla simulator where the point of the game is to destroy the city and fight the military. Sad that the poor sales means it’s unlikely we will see an improved version with different objectives and quality of life improvements. The 3d fighting games are fine but fighting the military and smashing buildings is just more fun for me personally.

Destroy All Monsters. Melee is the first of the Atari trilogy of Godzilla games. Save the Earth is the sequel and the last one is Unleashed. For some reason, the continuity has nothing to do with the consoles, just like how Soul Calibur II was on every main console but Soul Calibur III was only on PS2

You missed the 2 Godzilla games on Dreamcast.the first is like the ps4 game. The second maximum impact was good. It was a rail shooter.

Godzilla PS4 is fun, I agree. But i can see how many can find issues with it.
Mission structures are generally not varied enough, but i think it's also about how slow it is to upgrade everyone to a point that you can really see them shine.
Especially unlocking all the different abilities you can give to your personal Godzilla. All the movement options, breath types, flying retreat, etc. But you won't ever get those abilities without spending some serious time on the game.
I'm not a hardcore gamer so beating Unleashed in a crown moment for me

I think the issue with the godzilla ps3/4 game is that the average gamer that just knows about godzilla didnt want a godzilla game they wanted tekken reskinned with godzilla characters

There was a game, that you had to just destroy the city as godzilla, and you could play as heisei godzilla or zilla idk now, and the ground was just green floor, this game was a bit older but the models looks nice, the camera angle was still till you didnt walk further, the nthe camera changes the angle, anyone know what was that game name?

Spoilers: is a hit or miss tbh, while is great that a lot of characters are playable, gameplay wise is a complete downgrade from Save the Earth in a lot of points but kinda good in some others, once again, hit or miss, it depends on what you're looking for in a Godzilla game
There’s a mod for the Wii version of Godzilla unleashed where it gives it better controls and some other stuff

A Godzilla game with DAM/STE combat with graphics from the ps4 Godzilla would be the best Godzilla game ever. Because I’d be willing to bet my entire life’s savings that the majority of Godzilla fans don’t want a simulation game. In these types of games you gotta suspend the realism a little bit. Yes the monsters in the ps4 game move more realistically but it’s just kinda boring like that, it’s a video game after all. Take the heisei era Godzilla films for example, for as awesome as they were the monster fights are often criticized for energy attack spamming and less physical combat. And I like energy attacks as much as every other Godzilla fan, but fans will also remember how much of a brawler Godzilla was in the Showa era, and how he would only use his atomic breath as a means of getting the upper hand or as a finishing move. The ps4 game failed because people went into it thinking it would be like DAM/STE when it wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful game just not what I want in a Godzilla game.
If those are the reviews for the American version of the ps3 game I’d hate to see what they have to say about the Japanese version

I wouldn’t call it decent, it was a REALLY good series. But it sadly didn’t get a proper conclusion and the last episode just, ended.
If it ever get a new season, I really hope the people making the X-Men 98 series would work on it too.

Thats unfortunately how alot of godzilla items are. Just as an example I bought a godzilla figure a few years ago for 5 bucks and now its an ez 15. Bought a giant godzilla 2014 godzilla for 75 bucks in 2014 and now in 2024 its a smooth 300 bucks
It is a good thing you didn’t try Godzilla Unleashed for the Wii, although it may have some more monsters they are very buggy and sometimes are even missing assets 😭

I appreciate your video but in regards to Destroy all monsters, yes it's hard but it's also a skill issue. If that's your gameplay I'm watching....😅 Yeah you're definitely missing a lot of mechanics. There's no point in walking in this game at all, you should be running at all times, but in the Ghidorah fight you walk towards a health pick up. Also holding R will make you Lock on to a flying enemy while shooting your beam attack. By the way to dodge megalon you need to jump over him

In Godzilla PS4, if you switch to Japanese, the lady isn’t as annoying imo. Also, if they had added more maps and locations, it would’ve made it loads better. A lot of the maps are just the same, but at night.

The ps4 godzilla game could've been great. But clunky controls and slow moving repetitive action was its downfall. Glad I got it when it was $50 just because of how much its worth now. But it was a $15 maybe $20 game upon release. It was just ok
I personally didn’t mind the slow movement. It felt realistic to the older movies

I absolutely hated the ps4 game. I don't like when Godzilla moves at a snails pace. It reminds me of Heisei Godzilla movies which are my least favorite due to how boring the fights are.

Same, i like that the game is essentially a Godzilla simulator but after a short while the game just puts me to sleep, i prefer the pacing of STE to be honest and as a fighting game fan the game has enough depth to keep me coming back, the ps4 game is excessively grounded not to mention the balance, a lot of characters simply don't have enough tools to compete with Godzilla who has a full skil tree to unlock, i don't understand how they justified slapping a multiplayer mode on it.
