- I have been a life long fan of Godzilla ever since I watched the Godzilla 1985 film. The impact this franchise has had on me can never be put into words and I know for many of you, that is also how you feel. and Godzilla save the earth for PS2 was the single best experience I had as a child when it came too playing godzilla games. So lets revisit this gem.

Godzilla save the earth is the best godzilla game, and easily my favorite game. It has a lot of variety in attacks, moves, and abilities for each monster.

i loved this game as a kid, i was a destoroyah, Kiryu (mecha godzilla 3), and gigan main for this game. once i get my ps2 fixed im planning on playing it again

Godzilla: Save the Earth was the very first video game I played when I was around 3 years. To this day, I still go back and play it to relive those childhood memories I had with this game. Really hope one day we get a remaster of it.
However, there is a team working on a mod for this game! I suggest checking it out! It's called Godzilla: Save the Earth Melee!

I’ll never forget the day my dad brought me along to the local Best Buy so he could buy some
New CDs. While we were there he noticed this game and instantly bought it since he was a big Godzilla fan growing up. He then played the song Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult on the drive home. We would go on to make a tradition of playing this game every night before bed from 9-10 PM and make a ton of memories in the process. Ever since then, I’ve been a Godzilla super fan with more collectibles than I know what to do with lol

This game was sick asf when I played it, the madness that occurred in the room while playing it was immaculate
this game really is amazing its the perfect balance of epic and silly fun for a godzilla fighting game and its just iconic. I main kiryu because his moveset with his grabs and missles is so unapolagetically edgy but yknow its just fun you should do a video playing through as him!
My favorite one as well though my favorite one to play was Godzilla 2000 because it was the first Godzilla I saw in theaters.

That's trueee but gigabash team can have this chance if the gigabash game works out well toho would give them permission if that is the case
Let's hope Toho can actually see the potential in this team and let them do an actual classic Godzilla fighting game, seriously people are craving it, or any game really, we haven't seen a major godzilla game since 2014 at this point! But knowing Toho... I don't have my hopes up too high

I had Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee, but im thinking about getting Save The Earth, only thing really holding me back is that i only have a PS2 and not an Xbox, and the PS2 version is definitelly a bit worse, but im sure it would still be fun

Honestly, there's a good reason to think that this game would have been even better if they made it for Gamecube and Xbox instead of PS2 and Xbox, because the PS2 was weaker than both the Xbox and Gamecube they had to cut corners in terms of graphics, performance and features
That goes for the Xbox version too, even though they could have done a lot more with the Xbox, they were told to not implement any features that couldn't be done on the PS2 which really hindered the game, I mean the graphics on Destroy All Monsters Melee are pretty much just better than Save The Earth
Another thing that makes it weird this wasn't on Gamecube is that the Gamecube version of Godzilla DAMM actually sold mote copies than the Xbox version, it really was a strange decition to leave the consol out entirely

@@heiseianimates787 nah nah nah, I am definitelly being fair, there's no way that they could have Godzilla DAMM on there but not save the earth, the tectures on save the earth was even reduced in order to work on the ps2, the first game literally looks better, yeah Save The Earth has more characters but I just don't see Save The Earth being so huge that it doesn't fit, it's a small scale fighting game, like, it's definitelly not bigger than The Wind Waker
