Coach ur the man .!!!! You killing it on RUclips bc your personality and your ability to communicate all this great info 2 us. And ur down to earth and good dude. 👍
I kinda love this. We have been transitioning our passing game to more and more of an Air Raid attack because I want to get the ball out of my qbs hand quickly and I like the availability of mirrored concepts with the TB being the checkdown. We are also using a handful of rpos and I think we will be looking into adding a version of your pin and pull to our arsenal. I was only recently told about your channel and I am already a fan. Good stuff coach!
Hey, I really enjoy your channel. Just had a thought: you might want to think about creating a Slack channel for your group. And no, I don't work for Slack, but in the tech community if we need to quickly build a group for collaboration (it seems that's what your trying to do) then Slack is a pretty good avenue.
I thought this was crazy until I remembered that the quick passing game for the WCO essentially served as its running game, same as RPOs in the modern Spread. I'd be interested in hearing how successful this was for people.
How would you tag the play, if the 3 technique aligns to the opposite side of the trips ? That would change from the center pulling to the guard pulling to get the same read on the play side LB. Would that be the center's call for adjustment or qb. From a defensive perspective stemming the front could really screw with the blocking scheme. Just my thoughts maybe everyone you see sets the 3 to the back that's fine. I just think it could be a problem. Or maybe I'm dumb lol. God bless.
Coach, do you ever run speed option from this formation? or strictly P/P or Inside Zone? I'm looking at how the defense will react to what you are trying to do... and I am seeing a weakness with a speed option concept after you run this a few times.
Need a strong run option vs any man cover one or cover zero like your saying. Good way to bridge the schools of thought between spread and power run games
I wasn't in favor of the pin and pull . I messed up the name. Lol. But it seems to have all the answers vs. Any look. No matter what the defense dose offense always have chaulk last. It's like a 2nd cousin to the R&S lol. Nice.
Coach Que, I'm going to be honest, I would run the Spread. You can have two run plays - Inside Zone and Pin and Pull. Two Quicks - Y-Stick and Corner, and Two Drop backs - Shallow Cross and Y Cross. I've released an eBook on the Pin and Pull RPO. pinandpull.com
What do you run when the defense is using banjo man coverage. Game 1 is against state runner up. They play off, then sift wherever the guys go. Throw a hitch and they blast the WR. Gain of 5? If the WR can hold onto the ball while getting crushed. That's how the game ended for us 4 years ago against them. Slant KO on 4th down.
Check into some combo/pick routes, #1 and #3 crossing with #2 going deep, or slant and go's, hitch and go's or all verts no way all three DBs have their guys covered, somebody is gonna get space. Go over the top once or twice even if it's incomplete they'll change out of it.
Pull the guard on the right and have the center check his tackle. Chances are, the DT won't be fast enough to disrupt the mesh anyways unless he's headed to Alabama, but center can turn bump him and keep him out of the mix. Or just let him climb to the frontside Mike ball will be out of the QBs hands by the time he's downfield.
Do not ditch your quick game. Give your receivers and QB the ability to communicate and option out of the run for the quick game pass if the opportunity is there. Also, run play action off the pin-and-pull! Wisconsin runs a cool PA off P&P.
Our offensive line sucks. We can't run and we can't pass deep. We need a quick game without built in runs. Great video and great theory, but our o line sucks and we can't run this
@@TheBetterGamerz what a thought provoking idea. I'll just tell them to be more than 190 lbs. I live in the smallest town you've ever seen, the talent pool is miniscule. You're clearly some dipshit without anything to add who thinks you're gonna be edgy to random people on the internet, but you're better off minding your own fucking business before I come up there to Hartland Wisconsin
I think this is the fourth time I watched this video. I learn something every time. Coach Mckie you rock.

Thanks for the kind words sir. And that’s not a bad idea.

Have had coaches reach out and say this worked wonders because it helped them simplified their playbook.
Can i use the pin and pull blockingschema dir the jet sweep?
Thank you for the incredible videos and books.
Gruß aus Deutschland #Germany
Yes sir you can. And thanks for the kind words.

Air-Raid Rogers Thanks coach. And thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
Always coach , support is a MUST!
Coach, what app are you using to create your playbook ?
That was hudl

Coach, I haven't but I'm going to mess with it this spring. My HC says the spees option is a pain to defend.
Is their away i can get the pin and pull ebook i click link it does not work. Please let me know asap thanks coach
Good work. Looks like all Noel Mazzone’s stuff…
Need a strong run option vs any man cover one or cover zero like your saying. Good way to bridge the schools of thought between spread and power run games

I coach youth football MM what's a good offensive for youth football i have nothing but speed including QB

Coach Edgar,
I say Spread. Inside Zone and Pin and Pull. Y-Stick and Y-Corner. Y-Cross and Shallow Cross.
pinandpullrpo.com
I bought it and read it just hope I cane get my boys to understand it
I got a killer RPO concept that uses pin and pull but it's a motion concept ny youth team averaged 75 points a game hmu
What’s the r4 offence
A system that tells you different progressions based on capped uncapped. Good stuff. Just complexed for my stupid self.
Darren Slack runs R4 you may not run it, but, a good study tool.

Pin and pull. I like
Is the e-book still available?
Yes sir. You can get a list of everything at ronmckiefootball.com/footballcourses/
What website are you using in this vid?
Hudl playbook.
How can i modify if my center is not talented enough to pull?
Pull the guard on the right and have the center check his tackle. Chances are, the DT won't be fast enough to disrupt the mesh anyways unless he's headed to Alabama, but center can turn bump him and keep him out of the mix.

Hey coach let’s get in touch I would love to talk shop with you
Our offensive line sucks. We can't run and we can't pass deep. We need a quick game without built in runs. Great video and great theory, but our o line sucks and we can't run this
Throw more screens if they suck.
Coach them better dumbass

Hmmm, that's interesting but have you considered being a better coach?
@@TheBetterGamerz have you considered more creative insults?
