The RB26DETT engine is a 2.6 L Inline-6 engine manufactured by Nissan, for use in the 1989-2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R. The RB26DETT engine block is made from cast iron, while the cylinder head is made from aluminium. The cylinder head contains 24 valves (4 valves per cylinder), and uses a dual overhead camshaft setup. The intake of the RB26DETT varies from other RB-series motors in that it has six individual throttle bodies (3 sets of 2 throttle assemblies that are siamesed together) instead of a single throttle body. The engine also uses a parallel twin-turbo system, using a pair of T25-type ceramic turbochargers set by the wastegates to limit boost pressure to 10 psi, although the Skyline GT-R has a built in boost restrictor to keep boost under 14 psi.
The first 2.6 L RB26DETT was rated by Nissan at around 276 HP (206 kW) @ 6800 rpm and 260 lb·ft (353 Nm) @ 4400 rpm. By the end of production, power levels had gone up to around 276 HP (206 kW) @ 6800 rpm and 289 lb·ft (392 Nm) @ 4400 rpm, not only because of developments and modifications to the engine, but also because of the "Gentlemen's Agreement" made between Japanese automakers to limit the "advertised" horsepower of any vehicle to 280 PS (276 HP). The RB26 is widely known and became quite popular for its strength and power potential, making it a modification friendly platform for tuners and aftermarket modifications in general. It is common for modified engines to achieve outputs of 500 hp+. Some of the most extreme and extensive modifications done to the RB26 have resulted in figures of 1000 hp+, even up to 1,638 hp.

That's most definitely an RB lmao. The "brap" is just the sound of the cam.
That gtr at 0:42 sounds absolutely unreal. The high pitch scream is crazy. I have a skyline too I’m a massive fan naturally. I obsess over the sound have done for years and know a good manifold, typically equal length runners makes the best sound. But this gtr gives a truly unique sound it puts a massive smile on my face every time I hear it I just sit there in shock - Even though it’s only a couple seconds. It probably has a custom manifold with twin gates it sounds like it’s high revving too. You won’t find a skyline that sounds like this one does. Genuinely incredible.
Also the gold gtr at 4:20 is a JZ not an RB. You can tell as the headlight is replaced by a cold air duct. JZ turbo is on this side.
4:20 is deffinetly an RB, doesn't really matter where the turbo duct is ppl relocate turbos all the time
@@adrianthewolf-tp8uc I get what you’re saying bud, however it’s a 2JZ it’s UAE 🇦🇪 they 2J swap everything over there. I’ve never seen an RB with a turbo on the cold side lol. That would have to be one long bend exhaust manifold 😳it’s too complicated and more importantly basically not possible. There is simply no room to relocate a turbo to the other side of the cylinder head........ show me one RB that has a turbo at that side of the car. Or even show me one rb that uses the right hand side headlight as a duct.

@@zerotwo6409 R33 > R32 > R34 for styling. Ive always thought the R34 looks a bit squashed up I think its because its the tallest but shorter than the 33. So when i have parked next to 34s its higher and shorter, so looks less sleek to me. The 32 looks small and nible by comparison but less agressive than the R33. They all ride a bit high stock for my taste though. I would take them all over a GTR though.

Unrealgoat but those does not have an engine swap, its an SR20. Listen to the first S15 and you can hear the RB sound compared to a 4 cylinder SR20.
In the first clip in case you don't notice the string tied around the kids tooth they yanking it out with the skyline
