- i have graduated.......
yes, the time has come. time is moving forward and my 4 years at ucla has come to an end. thank you ucla for connecting me with such an awesome collection of monkeys, resources, art, and ideas. i remember walking up bruin walk freshman year listening to "maybe you're the reason" and feeling so utterly lonely and lost. shifting from childhood to adulthood is a difficult process. something that i am reminded of is a quote from Demian written by Hermann Hesse: "The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born first must destroy a world. The bird flies to God." i am the bird. i have destroyed my old self. my old world. it has shed away. and that was very very painful. but only through the suffering was i able to be born again. to awake from the grip of my mind!!! and become free.

going into my third year at ucla and I feel like I haven't appreciated everything this school has taught me. Definitely changing my perspective for these final 2 years :)
