Also, when are we going to get a bag to store ALL our joblink tools and accessories? They come with with nice storage bags. But it would be nice to store everything in one bag.

I've been using my SC660 with the job link app via the JL2.
But this looks to give a more in-depth report.
do you have to use the JL2 to connect to your phone? or is it only for long range connections?
@@pinolanuts69 I only use the JL2 with my SC660, it doesn't have the Job Link built in. It was the predecessor to this meter.
Daniel Jordan I see. So you have to get the JL2 in order to connect it to Joblink?(SC660)

Which is still great to have that option. To be able to add that info to the data report. I will eventually pick up the newer version. But my SC660 still works great.

I really LOVE the job link app and use it on all my maintenances, service call and new installs; but I can’t use the seer rating feature with job link unfortunately. I have to use Measure quick to present that measurement. If you guys could please look into this and hopefully fix it in the app Id soooooo appreciate it along with other techs as my self.
I own the sc680 meter. I have a question. For the Seer rating measurement how do I include the air handler equipment with the condensing unit for a complete system measurement on a residential air conditioning unit with the FAU being powered by 115 volts and the out door unit being powered by 208/230? I got system capacity readings on the job link app with the 2 air side probes and air flow measurement. That reading was meeting system rated capacity. I took my measurement in the single phase mode at the condensing unit and that I took the reading with a Klein line splitter at the air handler and I ended up with a 37 seer rating. With the Measure-quick app I was able to manually enter my readings and I had a way more accurate measurement of 12.7 seer on a year old 14 seer system.
Tony, is there going to be any joblink update that will allow these meters to test capacitors under like the redfish ?

How do you turn off the beeping on the meter? Why does the Bluetooth default to OFF and is not changeable to default to ON?
W=V x A x PF. How are you determining WATTS without knowing what the power factor is?
SEER rating at 5? Where are you? In California we can’t install anything less than 15 SEER.
I didn’t think anything went below 13 Seer at all these days??
@@addisonharms771 we went and checked out an older condenser today, burnt out contactor. The unit had a running amp load of 27 amps. Newer systems are running around 12 amps. Imagine what that 5 SEER is running at. Lot of electricity.
@@bsrodeo7s dang that’s pretty inefficient I just seen a 5 ton today running at 15 amps
@@bsrodeo7s it was something like 3.3 kw with a Pf of .85 which seems kind of low to me but it worked pretty good
@@addisonharms771 sounds like a 14 SEER 410a system, 85% efficiency. That’s not too bad as far as electrical consumption. Clean air filter and coils? Funny how most people have problems changing their air filters. Simple routine maintenance can save thousands of dollars. We’re your contactors and capacitors good? Did you check the blower motor capacitor? Clean with brush inside accessed areas? We’re you there for maintenance or breakdown?
When I run the power and efficiency test I get an eer but for the seer it says not calculable? WTH am I doing wrong please help
