Damn never thought I'd get a realistic interpretation of an emperor getting dethroned and then the oppressed getting in power only to become a dictatorship, well played joel. Well played.
Most rebels have a plan what they want to replace their current governmemt with. A realistic depiction is in "The Life of Brian" where different rebel groups disagree with each other's plans and spend more time fighting each other than their government. Most (but not all) rebellions that have succeeded did so thanks to support from foreign governments. This never went well for the rebels, and often backfired on the foreign government. Successful rebellions are usually peaceful reforms, even as they are persecuted violently.
I just find it funny how accurate he nailed it. "YAy we're free!" "what do we do now?" "We run the country/universe" "Well how do we do that with no money?" "We'll just take small amounts of money from everyone living here and use that money" Literally become the thing they are fighting over because they dont realize the system in place is required just to function.

Please please please come to switch. I need to liberate people from their health bars while sitting on the porcelain throne. Hahaha still one of the funniest lines, bar none, when the main character in the RPG finds out what a health bar actually means. Genius
@@TheBoshy It's "Sci-Fi: EbSynth", a game published by GOAT. See Goat-on-a-Stick's channel for a speed run of Super Mafia Blunders, made by the same studio.
How are you like 500% more talented than Hollywood? Seriously man, I love this stuff!
Nice of the Emperor to recycle, he's got my vote
It doesn't seem to be as much recycling as just dumping though.
i mean i would vote for him but i don't think there is a voting system XD
At last, backstory of how they arrived at the RPG realm. The lore is deepening. So does this mean RPG guy occasionally sees space trash materialize in his world? Did Marshall get sent with trash? The JHCU is bigger than we knew.
I don't know if it's sad or great I immediately knew Marshall.
Now we know how marshal got the gun
Thank you Joel for all the work you put into these animated videos!
"I have a problem actually" has got to be my fav line of all time
I feel bad for green guy, dude just needs a real friend. I hope he gets a win at some point
Well he did fine a gun at some point.
@@0o0Zero0o0 wasn't the gun out of ammo from Marshall though?
@@Cod4comedian
True, but that was a normal Adventure Rat.
This is not just a Space Rat. But a GREEN Space Rat.
I feel like he could be friends with that giant
@@Max-vr2po I could see Green guy holding the emperor at gunpoint only to be talked down by the positive reinforcement of the Giant and Adventurer, I really just want them to get to the root of Green guy's problem.
I liked the previous voice for the Green Guy. Sounded more rabbid and annoying. That was fitting, considering how he's later called annoying :P
I feel like they could have just talked the emperor into basically anything. He was a pretty chill dude. lol
“They’re pals, they’re friends.”
I can't get over how iconic this animation over live action is 🤯
this is literally my favorite channel on the entire youtube I love it it's lit for real
LIT
I would watch an entire show based in this universe. Maybe even about this rebellion and how it develops.
that would be fire
That would be so cool . I'd like to know how the rule against holding hands came about.
Too much backstory can ruin it. I like it in snippets. Like this
I wish in an alternate reality you were able to syndicate this into full episodes and maintain all of it's amazingness. I love every bit of it, every time
Now we just need an epilogue where the emperor is just vibing in the recycling dimension:
"Ya know, I'm not even mad that they sent us here, there's all sortsa cool stuff floating around. Look at that old chair, that's pretty neat."
"Sire, that's your old chair. You sent it here when you threw it out, like, two weeks ago."
"Really? That's wild."
The emperor got sent to the rpg dimension
@@cs0345 Spoiler, that is the recycling dimension, where do you think all the weird monsters and random loot comes from
Abe, you didn't watch the RPG series?
@@JamesEDonaldson Lmao no wonder Marshall got a gun
Things are gonna be different this time guys trust me. The rebels know what theyre doing.
I honestly love this universe you have created with all your characters. I really enjoy watching these.
This is literally what happened after the Rebels finally won in the extended universe books lol
I love the clusterfuck post empire world in EU, half the imperials didn't fully surrender and the rebels start using captured star destroyers too
The emperor is just such a nice and trusting guy. Good vibes on him.
Basically the plot to Animal Farm with fewer pigs

@No Comment huh, that’s weird… IQ points on a cob.
I appreciate that this feels like a low budget scifi movie, yet is as immersive as your more visually fleshed out animations.
It's awesome that in spite of seeing the whole sequence coming from a mile, I still enjoyed it thoroughly.
“Hey should we give the prison planet a name? Just calling it ‘prison planet’ seems kinda boring and on the nose. Maybe we could call something like... I dunno... Australia?”
The emperor was so chill though :(
@JESSICA that's a fair answer to grief

Joel I love this video. I watch these guys after I have a bad day. Lit. Makes me feel better.
Son: "Mom, can we get a Warhammer 40k movie about the Horus Heresy?"
Mom: "We have a Horus Heresy video at home."
The video:
But heresy was in M30, so it should be warhammer 30k?

so the space dimension and the RPG dimension are tied together by the teleporter... I'm curious when the Haververse will cross over with Ice Guys.
That show would be N’ice Guys
Upvote for "Haververse"
I love that you added this where it fits chronologically on the playlist
This is unironically accurate to the conclusion of every revolution. XD
Pretty much. Also, don't click the above link or go to that randomly self-promoting person's channel.
@@NecromancyForKids much thanks
Nah
As a previously disposed dictator of a small island nation, can confirm
Yup, it’s Animal Farm all over again.
The most dreaded words in the entire galaxy, "We're from the Galactic Empire and we're here to help."
"We're from the New People's Galactic Republic, and we're here to help. Now pledge your allegiance or get in the prison planet."
“We represent the vegetarian space socialists who are always right.” “You guys are the worst!” “We know.”
I like how the green alien knew what was gonna happen and just accepted his fate 😂
I love the fact that you only do animations when you're inspired to do them. Because it makes it all killer no filler.

Or maybe he had bullets, but he couldn't reload because he's a rat without opposable thumbs.
Hold
The very straight forward and obvious punchline of the teleporter room coupled with the casual conversation strewn throughout and the outlandish characters really makes for some nice viewing. This formula works rather well.
The ending half just feels like my dnd group trying to make a decision.
The care he puts in his videos is amazing!
This is the first video I have been recommended from your channel in what feels like months
Nice to have this piece of backstory. I wonder if the rebels will be able to redeem themselves
