But I have been watching channels like Dive Talk for awhile now and have been engrossed in not only SCUBA and CCR but just Diving in general for the better part of 2.5 years, and I've watched just about every piece of content that I've found that features Sorenson ever since I found out who is, watching this just solidifies the absolute beast of a Diver he and Mehdi are, absolutely master class divers. Incredible Video, and I look forward to maybe one day getting to be trained by Sorenson and Mehdi myself one day, but I will certainly visit the Dive Shop, which is 4.5 hours away from me, someday in the future.

I honestly would’ve never guessed how in depth it would be, in order to become certified with such a setup! But if I were to ever take on such a challenge.. I’d only ever want to learn how to do so through Ed tho!! I’m not sure I’d be nearly as comfortable to do so with anyone other than the man, the myth, the legend himself!… That’s the one person who I’d be confident enough to know, not just think, that I’d absolutely be steered in the correct direction.. However, that’s certainly not to say that there aren’t other instructors out there, who could do just as good of a job preparing me for such an endeavor. But Ed would be the only person who I’d be 100% comfortable with blindly following his every instruction, while knowing that I’d be totally safe to do so!! I think that with anyone else, I just wouldn’t feel nearly as comfortable or as confident about learning these skills from anyone else. Without at least having some level of apprehension or nervousness about blindly follow their every word.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Jonathan and Todd awesome accomplishment men! Absolutely something all CCR divers can be proud of getting their rebreather certification. Someday I hope to be blessed enough to enjoy a rebreather. It's a big responsibility for sure however the opportunities it opens up can be expansive and the applications I wish to use it for will be very exciting. 🤙Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter

I wish I understood the significance of the buoyancy controls and what it actually feels like in real life.
I get the basic need to control whether you’re floating, sinking, or neutral, it just seems like there are so many factors, (or moving parts so to speak) that you must be aware of to effectively get this right.
It’s awesome the data that has been collected and applied since diving began. Lot of lives lost to learn from and modify SOP’s to get us where we are today

Mehdi also filmed several cave dives for Dive Talk. He's really good at it, diving the same paths as everyone else but with the hands full with the big camera.

Is it that hard to press the on and off button on a camera mounted on your mask or have another diver film the process while you train. It's a great show obviously

@@Josh-hr5mc this is no GoPro footage believe you me. Drone, big cameras in underwater housings that have buoyancy conditions... a lot went into making this video for you to enjoy for free :)

Wow! You guys did amazing! I did a down payment to my unit I just got cleared to dive again so once my unit comes in I want to start diving my sidewinder! ever since my back surgery in 2022 of November I haven’t been able to till now that I got cleared! Also re learned how to walk in 5months that was hard I got everything back but my right foot but it’s slowly coming back lol but you guys should pay my unit off and certify me on the sidewinder with you guys! 🎉 congratulations I’m a big fan!

And thank you it’s okay It shouldn’t have happened I visited the hospital multiple times by the last visit I woke up the next day in so much pain and I tried standing up I couldn’t walk at all. But I’m painless and I’m cleared after a long battle of blood clots and back surgery pain. Keep being you, you are amazing BIRD!
