This house was so fun to spot every time we drove north to San Francisco. I suspect if the dinos are allowed up- they will create memories for a new generation of kids making the trip north. Its too bad the town of Hillsboro is suing her to take down all the yard decor bc they don’t conform with their snooty “community standards”. They obviously have too much money they figured the most worthy cause for their money was litigation.

She won a settlement and the city ended up having to pay her $125,000. Good for her!
This house is a piece of pop art. It's creative, fun and whimsical. I love the prehistoric animals in the yard. I don't see why aesthetically her sculptures are considered an "eye sore" when a Jeff Koons art installation of a huge balloon rabbit in a public space is considered high art. Hopefully, Fang will legally prevail over the city of Hillsborough.

I think that this house is absolutely beautifully done and I love that she is so artistic and loves the past, and the future! We all could take a lesson from this lady because she seems so in tune with life!
This place is unique, different, and fun. Its a nice change of pace from all the other homes. Would love to own something like this without the litigation happy neighbors.

Why don't people mind their own business. It is funny to see people preaching about the individualism of the US, yet then desire for strict community control of others ideas.
so what's the difference of having a t-rex in your yard or a flagpole with a flag on the top, they penetrate the skyline and what her neighbors see, and something being an eyesore is a matter of taste, she owns the property and thinks it isn't, that's why it's there.

Great! Memories will be made looking at the sculptures by a whole new generation of children, and why shouldn’t architecture be fun too? I can totally understand if people don’t like it. And, as long as they lived there pre 1976, then fab. If not, jog on.
This house is so cool! We live in a city where Code Enforcement cites you for everything they can find. I would rather have this wonderful memory than some of what I see!! And why should someone be able to tell me what to do with my property as long as my lawn is kept freshly mowed and no garbage is strewn all over my yard (I mean actual garbage, not these works of art!). This is an artist's dream to see this!! I can see where it could cause accidents on the highway but that is a whole different conversation! This is stunning and I can bet many of those people who want it gone are the younger generation who did not grow up watching the Flintstones! I also strongly believe what I do with my property should be my business as long as it is not like I said, high weeds, actual garbage all over. These are works of art and not garbage, just as this home is. And yes, it is a home! She has made it a home! And I am so happy she won!!
I love seeing this house every time I pass on 280 even if it’s only for 2 seconds. Those stuck up neighbors have no sense of humor. She’s not bothering anyone. Leave her alone City council
It’s her property and she makes the city standout. I rather see this than all the trash and homeless around the city .

Beautiful home and I love driving past it on this part of 280N. Unfortunately the area she lives in is filled with lawyer types and are some of earths most boring people.
This house looks even better with the dinosaurs! Instead of worry about a yard they should worry about their homeless problem
City building code inspectors inspect buildings for a living...they don't home the homeless! Get a CLUE!

@@dodgedabullet670 That house has been there since I was a kid, but without all the doodads. It was just an odd, brown house that you could see from the road before there was a 280. We always called it The Flintstone House. Must be 50, 55 years, now.....

I watched the Flintstones all the time on the boomerang cartoon network I don't like the change I wish they could return to boomerang cartoon network I miss the Hanna and barba cartoon
