Depends on so many factors. If you’re using say a JVM at high volume? It’s worth every penny

That noise reduction device is truly impressive. For a professional with a favorite fuzz pedal or other essential gear that creates noise, the price might be justifiable. Personally, I'd seek out a used one, even if I were a paid professional. Although $200 might not be a lot for some, your demonstration clearly highlights its extensive usefulness and versatility.

Everyone swears by the decimators and they go use for about half of this. Also, the NS-2 is still a great suppressor for half the price.

I would love to see you check out the new Ibanez Pentanone gate. It is a single knob smart gate and only $100.00 USD. If a single knob is designed right it works better as it has much better hold, release and threshold latency. The best for that presently is the ISP Decimator G String smart gate but it is the most pricy of any of them.

I think My next zzounds haul will be all pedals for comparisons, so I'll put that on my list. I've honestly never heard of it, but I like simple pedals like that.

@@Guitarnivore My board has 63 pedals on it and I use 4 gates. I am always looking for better.

I would say the NX1x is a bit better than NS2. Damp knob gives more flexibility, led indicator for accuracy of noise dampen, then I think it suck tone lesser. I would settle for my NS2 if I don't need 2 noise gates.

I'm sure it's better, but I just don't know if it's $100 better, you know?

@@Guitarnivoreto be honest I'm happy I grabbed ns1x instead of another ns2 😊. For me how it works better on my noisy high gain channel of marshall jvm alone is worth it, then considering the additional features is personal but I find it really useful. If you are happy with NS2 then it's probably ok to tick with it.... but if you find yourself wanting better, then NS1X might worth to try just glad I did
