This one I get asked about a lot and the truth is I don’t know how much money they require for you to bring a visitor over as I didn’t see anywhere where they specified this. I just handed them my 3 months bank statement and 3months bank statement from my mom as well and provided the invitation letter stating that she will be staying under my roof and I will be responsible for all her basic needs while she’s still under my roof I guess the key is just to have a healthy bank balance where they can see you have enough money for all your necessities and no negative balances

Hi Angie, i had shared financial responsibility but i did not even have to go as far as mentioning that. All i mentioned was the child has always stayed with me and the father confirmed that in his consent letter. I would say whatever you say in your letter, make sure the fathers letter corresponds/ confirms this.

Hi Who will take care of the child while I go to work? Do I need to show proof of that? Can a 12-year-old child come to the UK unaccompanied? Only need to show proof of 2 bedroom accommodation and bank statement, right?
Unfortunately unaccompanied children get problems on entry even if they have visa. Questions upon Questions but if you show up you will still get your child but still Questions upon Questions to make sure you are actually the sponsoring parent. It's better you go to your home country and come with the children

It came back within 2 weeks (10 working days) forgot the exact amount of days it took but not more than 10 days

What type of visa is that because with family visas you don't needs consent from absence father if you use sole responsibility
