      The cost of living has increased significantly since this person arrived so you should reassess given current cost of living and huge housing shortages. A adults we may be able to put up with substandard housing temporarily and sharing with others but met would not want our children to have to go through that.

    Yes I'm a single mom planning to immigrate to Canada in 2024. My child is 9 and is excited to experience Canada especially the snow. I've got accepted in a college in Toronto. My friends in Canada has offered to keep my child while I'm in college. So by faith I'll be going to Canada and see how things work out.

      Depending on your start date you may have bigger issues like the provincial attestations requirements. Assume you child already has a study permit since family members aren’t guaranteeed visas or permits. The requirements for proof of funds just for you plus you will have to show extra funds will be significantly more than 6 months ago and reflects closer to the true vote of livingi n Toronto. Does your mother have PR or Canadian citizenship? If not you can’t guarantee that she will be able to come to Canada and remain for an extended period of time. If she is a visitor picking up your child and watching them would e considered working illegally and if it is discovered that she does this she could straddle to visit Canada in the furure

    • @amyseaden9069
      @amyseaden9069 6 месяцев назад

      @@SakuWodj it is unclear whether children will be allowed to accompany parents studying in Canada except for masters and PhDs. If spouses are not allowed it would be tough to justify how children are allowed since they will likely face much more difficulties and costs than an adult who can work.

      On what basis are you moving to Canada? For example under the new study permit rules your children are not entitled to come to Canada with you unless you are doing a masters or PhD. Even if stydying a masters or PhD you’ll need still need to get the older one will need to get a study permit and they’ll both need to get TRVs show that you have the extra funds to support them. It may be impossible to work because if you half to pay for childcare you may lose money going out to work if you count transportation and time.
