Hi Esther. This is a very informative video. I am sure this will help anyone thinking of making the move over to the UK and bringing their children. I am glad you have managed to find a solution for the childcare. The local councils in different areas sometimes have cheap activities in the school holidays. For example, the local leisure centres can have sports camps for the week or there are private businesses that may have art or football, multi sports from 9 till 3 or longer. The coaches are qualified and have DBS checks. My husband used to run something like this over on that side from 8.30 to 3pm Monday to Friday in holidays. It can work out cheaper than hiring a childminder for the week if not able to get time off work especially when it is the 6 weeks holidays. Thanks for sharing xx

You could try applying as an aupair, not only uk but Netherlands too, you can reach out to Carla’s aupair page on instagram, they’ll help you through the process.
