Bill you really know how to pick them! That's a stunning color and I can't say I ever recall seeing one in that color. Its like a black cherry in the sun light. A real GEM
BILL, I have only just come across your RUclips videos, at competition cars. And I must say, you’re Quality of cars is quite amazing. Especially the low mileage one owner like new cars. How you locate such vehicles is astonishing to me, please keep up the good work. Manchester England. 👍.
The colour is stunning as is the whole car. A non-working clock is to be expected, but the cruise should be fixable. Still a very desirable car that will do well.
From memory the cruise controls used small bore hoses that are prone to developing leaks the smallest of hole or split will stop the cruise from working, you realy need the advice of a Lincoln expert before just replacing everything@@christianbugatticg
@@christianbugatticg I'm glad I grew up when I did. The streets of Bklyn and Queens were full of these cars. Sad to think that we will never see the likes of that again.
From what i have been able to find out the most common faults of no cruise control are-: Failed control module, sensor or switch issues or throttle actuation problems. That is some list to go through. Sometimes it's cheaper to pay an expert, finding a good one is the hard part.
Thank you for letting me know, it was a retired car tech here in the UK that gave me the information, he used to service and repair all the USA cars that i owned.@@christianbugatticg

Yeah I need to take a look at that. It was sort of unexpected and I am about 50/50 with the cruise controls working on these classics!

Beautiful car
Thank you!
People like to make fun of 1970s styles. I think that some of the richest looking cars were made during that time . That car is gorgeous!
These cars were just over the top and that is a good thing!

You are correct! We checked EVERYTHING obvious and it turned out to be a cruise control module. Thanks!
