CSX Freight Train Passes Amtrak Train + Street Running Coal Train Follows! Ashland Virginia Trains!

- Street running trains! 2 Trains Passing on mainline railroad tracks for CSX and Amtrak in downtown Ashland, Virginia. Street Running Loaded coal train follows. Millenniumforce and I filmed Amtrak arriving at the train station in Ashland and picking up passengers and letting off passengers. I also filmed a coal train and a night time Amtrak passing through downtown. We got lucky to catch the huge intermodal pig train passing the Amtrak train just as the Amtrak train was leaving the station. I also included a short clip of the local celebrity ( Kenny ) in Ashland who rides a bicycle in a womans dress. We saw ourselves on the local live web cam from the station. It has a delay of about a half a minute and I show a closeup of one of the 3 cameras in the outro. Millenniumforce also has a new car which I show in the outro. Thanks for watching! I love Amtrak trains
I use to go to Ashland with my grandfather. Further down is CSX ACCA rail yard. This use to be Richmond, Fredricksburg, and Potomac (RF&P)
Damn that’s a long train. Wonder why they didn’t double stack some of those containers?

Nice catch, JT! Two things I noticed. That IM train had no double stax, probably obstructions on that route prevented it, would be my guess. And there's a lot more graffiti on box cars and tank cars than there is on coal cars. Coal cars aren't left on unprotected sidings generally. That long coal train had just one car tagged that I saw. Interesting!!!
That coal train looks like the ones we saw in Thurmond yesterday!

Is it colder than snot outside over there in the Buckeye with the wind blowing snow all over the place like it is here..lol
A few days ago it rained and then the temperatures dropped and everything wound up with a layer of ice on it. I had to scrape the ice off my wifes car for her and that sucked! Today it is really windy but not cold. The ice and snow melted. Thanks for watching!

Wow. No DPU on that 1st train with only 2 lead.They are running trains out of Philadelphia as long as that with at least 1 mid DPU.

What is the blinking light on top of the railroad crossing for?
That warns people who are wanting to make a left hand turn across the railroad tracks. It is telling them to stop
