  • Hello everyone, and thank you all for tunning in. This video, I almost could not make it for you see, I tried to make it last week but all the boat ramps in my area looked like doodoo, and I wasn't gonna drag the boat on those gator-infested water, so I decided to take it to the Wabasso Causeway boat ramp, located in Vero Beach. I am glad I took out out there because I turned the water review video into a small island adventure. I am liking this kind of approach when it comes to reviewing boat. I placed the Saturn SD415 inflatable boat in its true element, at least in an element that I see myself quite often, visiting islands. The boat performed so darn well that my outboard began to over rev, with its ability to glide on the water so well, the outboard didn't have to work so hard in order to make the boat catch plane. This is a well-made boat if you're in the market for a large inflatable boat that can still fit in the trunk of your SUV/CAR/VAN, and it is the largest inflatable that Saturn/Boatstogo offers that still uses an air deck floor. Any other larger models switch to an aluminum deck. Thanks for watching, guys, and I'll see you on the next one.

      Thank you! I love these boats, and I see myself using my SK385XL kaboat a lot. Big bladders and easy to deploy.

      Indeed! The boat is so well built that the motor started to over rev. It glides like glass.

    This is the way to do it! No need to spend $30k to get out on the water. Do you think this boat would go well with a 55 lbs trolling motor just for cruising around a lake?

    • @ErickMartinSucre
      @ErickMartinSucre  28 дней назад

      Sure! I've done it before. I switched to gas motors because they give more power and range.

    Hi Erick, how big should be my engine to get my family (5) people on this beauty?

    • @ErickMartinSucre
      @ErickMartinSucre  14 дней назад

      Minimum, 15hp, 20hp preferred. I use a 12hp Hangkai and that motor could probably get 2-3 ppl on plane. For 5 ppl, maybe an 18hp Hangkai "Budget option", or any main brand "Suzuki, Yamaha, Tohatsu, Mercury, Honda" 20hp. If you choose the Hangkai, keep in mind that this model is a direct clone of the Yamaha 15hp 2-stroke outboard. amzn.to/3Mtj5YU

      This one is 13.8 feet long and goes for around 1400. Heat-welded seams, 3 aluminum seats, and well balanced that my 12hp hangkai was over-revving, meaning it is capable to run well with little power.

    Is it ok to inflate and deflate after each use? I don't have room to store it inflated. Thanks

    How many years should these saturn boats last?

    • @ErickMartinSucre
      @ErickMartinSucre  Месяц назад +1

      With basic care, and not leaving in storage for years, 7-10 years average. I have an SK385XL Kaboat that's been with me for 4 years now. I beat the living crap out of that thing and it still holds like a champ, and this is before Boatstogo/Saturn introduced the heat-welded seams. Mine has the glued seams and it is intact.

      @ErickMartinSucre That's awesome. I was hoping it wasn't just a few years. I'm going to get the big 18 footer to go out on the Missouri River and chill on sand bars.

      @@usdpaulp Whoa! Hahaha! That thing is a beast of a boat! You'll obviously will be using a trailer and not put on the back of the car like I do, I am sure. I saw that one up close at the Fort Desoto boat ramp once, and it has a lot of presence, it demands attention. If it is not soo much trouble, plz use my link since it helps me a ton. alnk.to/hDqkqyZ
