Excellent GM. I wonder about black powder not being as safe as gunpowder? I know black powder is sensitive to static electricity in carrying cases. So I personally would use gun powder extracted from shot gun shells. Thank you for this I have this information in a densho from a old magazine no longer in print called ninja magazine from a article of the Fuma clan. This helps me greatly to see it in action
@@brianhowe201 black powder can be made easy in the wild with the right ingredients. But it can catch fire or explode if mishandled. If you use these things be very careful and gun powder is safer. Me myself I like flash powder for my Tori Noko.
I like this technique, though I don't think I can buy a Uchidake in my country. Will try it with a lighter and a piece of paper next time, should work well I think. Thank you!
@@ShinKyuubi I will see what I can find, I also need a sappan cloth as recommended by another video on Nindo Channel. Thank you thus far, fellow ninja.
Nice, it's rare to see a historical one like this and seeing it in practice is a nice touch other than just talking about it.

I believe gunpowder is coated with a thin layer of graphite to keep static electricity from igniting it.

どうして火種の墨を入れた竹の筒が焼失してしまわないんですか?それを入れている竹製の容器も・・・
neat piece of history, but going to stick with a lighter.
