I prefer it when eldar have a more tribal, soft, lengthy, or instrumental like song. They aren't a very in your face people so I never thought they should have a bombastic theme unless it takes a while to build up to it. This fits them well.
@@atransarcticfox Didn't they only win because of the civil war with necrons fighting to enslave the C'tan? and the fact that necrons decided to go in to stasis until a suitable race emerged they could skin? And they technically didn't win, because their vassals the old ones lost the war pretty heavily. The Eldar race was created by the old ones during the war in the heavens and only started to prosper with both the old ones and the Necrons gone and since they were the only active intelligent species around, they didn't have many natural enemies.
@@danieljensen6880 Why do you think the Necrons went to sleep in the first place? It's because if they didn't the Eldar would've wiped them off the face of the galaxy, and yeah I would say the Eldar won considering they would then go on to rule the galaxy for literal aeons.
@@atransarcticfox If you go read up on the lore, it says nothing about the eldar being able to destroy them. And you have to consider that the strength they gained over 60 million years was way more powerful than what they had during the war in heavens. So if they could easily wipe out the necrons, then why tf didn't they do it when they had the full support of the old ones and the first edition of the orks? The necrons made the most powerfull race in the galaxy go extinct, even though it had support from the first orks and the eldar(whome the old ones created) and enslaved their own masters who had reality bending powers. I don't argue that the Eldars are not a powerful race, with the greatest technology in the galaxy, but that was only untill the Necrons rose again. So what you are saying here doesn't really make sense to me. Here is a little bonus snippet for you: When it comes to technology, the Necrons can only be barely matched by the Eldar, and maybe even the Tau. And this is 60 million years later.
Honestly this leaves me in a critical position, because I've grown to like the music for Gladius but I've also grown to like the music from the "Echoes of the Past Battles" mod because its music from games like the original Dawn of War and its two expansions Winter Assault and Dark Crusade, Dawn of War 2 and Mechanicus, all of which have good music in their own right.
@@dr.feelgoodmalusphillips2475 At first I did not much care for this, but after a few listens its pretty great. The long buildup makes it less catchy than DoW theme but once it kicks off, I get shivers
Who thought it would be a good idea to use Banshee Masks as a musical instrument?
They deserve a prize.

I was not expecting a new expansion coming out.
I played the game for over 60 hours now and i put the musik off from the very beginning. The musik is up again, omg i missed out a lot!

Oh shit I need to get that mod!
Also, it's decent music but it's mostly meh. The Ork and Tryanid theme is kickass as hell though and the Tau's is pretty decent too.

Lol, who is the one person who dislikes this phenomenal piece of music?
Two and I was one of them. It's alright but pales in comparison to the Dawn of War Music for them.
