"Only when you have soared through the morning skies on wings of flame can you understand the Hawk. Only when you have fallen screaming upon those who know they are already dead can you understand the Banshee. Only when you have annihilated those who would oppose you can you truly understand the power of the Dragon. And only one who has travelled but ultimately turned away from each of these paths can understand the Autarch.", Anthrillien Morningchild, Autarch of Yme-Loc
-Remember your training Brothers! The Eldar are Deadly! -Why again, brother ? I've forgot. -They have warp thingy... I think. -Ho, I see. Are them the one who can they teleport entire army of deamons on your position ? -Nah. just some sort of teleporting squad of shooter. -Like our terminator ? This would be dire news. -Fear not. Way more squishy, less firepower. More mobile too. -Can't be less mobile than them anyway. So, what's the deal, what do we have to fear from their trickery ? Can they corrupt the earth, body and mind, and tear everything apart with their sorcery ? -Nah, only chaos do that. I think they do... sparlky things. lighting. those sort of stuff. -That's all ? - They do Tarot, too, and are lucky. - the orks too. So that's all. Wait, maybe it's something about their size or their numbers ? -Nah, even less than there are space marines, and guardman sized. But they are good at.. hiding. -Truly terrifying. This must be why you need training to remind you that they can be deadly. You never would have thought.
+Pie Ines (inespie) They still can obliterate you with a storm or appear from nowhere, strike and then disappear in the shadows in a mere second :) Did i mention the fact they can project stuff with telekynesie or... spam LIGHTNINGS ?! By the emperor, they have canon that shoot lightning...
Do Eldar even have priests? Most of their gods are dead, save for Khaine and Cegorach. Khaine's "priests" are Exarchs and Cegorach's "priests" are Harlequins. Maybe Isha could have some sort of healer priestesses, but I do not remember any in the lore.
I see so many people in the 40k fans underestimate other players and races, like the eldar. Stuck with stereo types you expect you strong SM or IG or Chaos army or even orcs to simple mop up other races in game... It only takes one that can use a good tactic against you with eldar and your doomed NEVER underestimate ANYONE in 40k its often your first mistake and it shall be your last often
See that's where you fail to realize how the Eldar work. They all work in coherence of each other. They all have a part to play like an orchestral song. The Guardians come to protect their Craftworld while the Dragons rain down fire. And the Hawk rip their talons through your lines. The Banshee shall scream and you shall cry. The Reaper shall tare holes in your ranks whilst your fleeing comrades die before the might of the Spiders!
What I hate about DoW is that you had to mod the first game just to fucking have all of the Aspect Warriors (Dire Avengers, Howling Banshees, Striking Scorpions, Fire Dragons, Swooping Hawks, Warp Spiders, Crimson Hunters, Shadow Spectres, and Dark Reapers). Makes me sad as fuck :( the Eldar have SO MUCH and yet in the games all they pretty much get are Guardians and Wraithguard
Its like....the end of youre favorite epic game or movie, and theres some doom or plan hanging over your head, and its as if THIS mission will decide if you win or not. Thats what this awesome music reminds me of.
This is my favourite eldar theme ever. Gone are the solemn tones and tragic themes. Gone is the silence of an ancient race going to war. This song inspires the wrath of the eldar, their beautifull symphony of destruction. And through that wrath, for a single moment, you can see it, their long lost glory. It is a tragedy when mankind and the aeldari come to blows, but when they do, it is undeniably glorious. The raw power of the Imperium, against the grace of the eldar.
There is so little we know about the Eldar, and how much their fall have dimished them. They are as old as the Orks, but ruled the galaxy alone for millenias unchecked. Now, they are reduced to manipulation and petty schemes to survive, and that's all they can wish for. Between the Necron fleet in the space between the systems, the Hive fleets floating around, the Chaos that can erupt anywhere, each day is a blessing. They are my favourite, but still, I can"t stand their misplaced arrogance.
@OrkSlayer156 Creed, in the fluff anyway, is the finest General in the Galaxy and this is represented by his ability called "tactical genius" which allows him to hide units such as Titans or Baneblades on the map even with ridiculously small amounts of cover
Eldars are incredible enemies. They are doomed species, their civilization have no hope to defeat Chaos, Imperium, Necrons or Tyranids, but they are still arrogant and determined to fight against everyone. Unless Cegorach has a totally miracle plan to, at least, kill Slaneesh.
@TheJman423 A crystal made from and firing the energies of a hellish dimension, that is home to a vast multitude of stark horrors that only seek to twist and consume everything in the Eldars and Humans universe--in ways that would drive the most rational of minds utterly insane...
Malan'tai, kind of like the sisters of battle now, one of the ways you could prove that your faction was the winniest was by having them wipe out an entire eldar craftworld. A Tyranid super unit apparently did it by itself. Which is why it has never been heard from again.
"You have heard stories. Of your fellow guardsmen found dead with no signs of a struggle. Of giant armoured swordsmen tearing tanks open with blades the length of a earthshaker. You were afraid. But now is the time; the time of vengeance for our fallen comrades. Let fear leave your soul, and cold steel drive your senses. We fight for the Imperium, and we shall know no defeat!" - Captain Brontar of the Scoscian 98th Assault Regiment, the Battle of Lexor Ridge.
To fight an enemy you must face your enemy. And as we know, space marines, clad in the finest armor and forged in the furnace of war, will not be defeated.
Said ninja tricks, mean that when you shoot at us you're actually shooting at holograms and we are off hidden somewhere, or blowing your supply depots up :D
@hanfoj Yes a great variety of tactics like; line up in holes and get shot, rush in and get shot, hide in the bushes and get shot (sometimes eaten), sit in steel boxes and get shot and so on... =P And when they're feeling fruity they get on a horse... And get shot. "In the 41st millennium it blows to be a regular human."
After what you described, I can clearly imagine an Eldar Farseer, doing the Star Wars Jedi's hand trick of beliving "It went like that!", over a Games Workshop GD.
Space Marine = Win, just because of wargear Tyrranid = Win, the Zerg are just them toned down and I don't think Flood can absorb their biomass, and can't be impregnated by Xenomorphs.
Exactly. See not the Eldar for they cannot be seen. For nor can they be heard. Look not to the skies for they are below, look not to the fields of war for they are above. We are the Eldar. You have already been defeated.
Eldar troops really despise the Space marine vice versa. Yet their respect for the imperial guard is quite well. Althought theyre of different factions.
eldar have alot of paths but the most use are the path of warrior:all soldiers except guardians, those lost in this path became exarches forever and cant change this ever the path of seer:if followed path of warrior, warlock,if not, spitseers(some sort of warlocks but they commune with the wraithbonebonesingers and those lost in this path, farseers path of exile:from pirates to safety, rangers and the last path of command, which is like a farseer without psyhic powers you guys?what path you choose?
"A moment of laxity spawns a lifetime of heresy." I never realised the Eldar music was so good, Tarkus: "Eldar would gladly kill a billion humans to save a handful of their own,"
@cutiepe2ce Yes, I definitely agree that they should use the real warriors (Dire Avengers) instead of the militia that are called Guardians. Dire Avengers are the eldar basic infantry, not the useless Guardians. Also I was a bit disappointed with so few of the aspect warriors actually being in DoW2. We have Howling Banshees and Warp Spiders. That's leaving out Dark Reapers, Striking Scorpions, Swooping Hawks, Fire Dragons, Dire Avengers and Shining Spears.
Been wondering, before the fall, if an eldar soul used to be reborn in the body of a newborn eldar. If that is the case, how are young eldar getting their souls now?
a new born eldar still gets its soul from the warp but once its made Slaanesh hungers for all of the eldar souls to one day return to the warp this is why they use spiritstones to prevent this from happening. Kinda sucks for the eldar, they really only have a kinda self made purgatory or Hell to look forward to when they die.
google the Lexicanum, its basically the warhammer Lore Wikipedia and you can find everything and anything Warhammer 40k or Warhammer Fantasy based there. Otherwise check out some of the Black Library books like the Horus Heresy series for some really good lore.
Yet the Imperial Guard is the foremost weapon of the Imperium of Man, and is capable of defeating any enemy force with the proper application of numbers, tactics, and technology.

it's so good
Catch myself randomly singing along with it from time to time.
omg once this track gets into your head it doesn't get out!
+RabidIBM agreed on 100 percent. Addictive.
They know the science of war, but not the art!
+Brayden Crumb You seem to misunderstand. This is a quote from the Eldar in the game. I believe it is mainly targeted at the Imperium.
+Scorponizer I think it's mean that imperium commanders are bad strategist and loss a huge chunk of their army as the result.
I love Eldars!
I like to wave at them as they pass by!

THE ELDAR ARE DEADLY!!!
The Eldar theme is glorious
favorite song in all of dawn of war 2. 5/5, thanks for upload, ive been waiting.
"The mon-keigh are distrustful by nature"
- The shiftiest race in 40K
Well given humanity's history, they ain't wrong about the distrust. Though the Eldar certainly don''t help lessen it.
Though I am very much a Necron fan. The Eldar do have their moments of glory. And they are well deserved.
I am not an Eldar fan ,but I do like their females.!
This is the reason ,why I do like them.!
The ways of Chaos are strange.
They are very welcome.!
Yall mothafuckas need Jesus !
There's only the Emperor, heretic!

+Pie Ines (inespie) They have webway gates though. They may stab you in the ass while taking shit. Nowhere is safe.
+xxlCortez If they try by that angle, they shall taste a bile spewer twin linked with a venom canon. I would not suggest this plan.
+Pie Ines (inespie) They still can obliterate you with a storm or appear from nowhere, strike and then disappear in the shadows in a mere second :)
Did i mention the fact they can project stuff with telekynesie or... spam LIGHTNINGS ?! By the emperor, they have canon that shoot lightning...
Pie Ines They are strongest psyker...
"Hmph. A typical, infantile attempt at a strategic summary. As expected of unrefined, ignorant Mon-Keigh primates."
i have been looking for this forever, thanks for the upload
I'm just imagining a troupe of elder priestesses chanting this while a harlequin of the laughing god decimates the enemies one by one.
Do Eldar even have priests? Most of their gods are dead, save for Khaine and Cegorach. Khaine's "priests" are Exarchs and Cegorach's "priests" are Harlequins. Maybe Isha could have some sort of healer priestesses, but I do not remember any in the lore.

I think this song made me an Eldar Fan.
"Eldar, beware their trickery!"
For the eldar, that's every mission.
You're welcome. Always glad to have a positive comment.
eldar are just so powerful in the tabletop game with their new dex, along with Tau :P their shooting is just scary.

This song should have been so epic for Sisters of Battle of Dawn of War Soulstorm...
Ty for this Master Piece, from the master race.
A.K.A : THE ELDARS ! ! ! ! !
This will always be the theme i think of when I think of the 40k universe
Amazing battle music! Love it
I wish this was the kind of soundtrack we had on space marine
Eldar warriors take centuries to train, but only seconds to kill
-Sincerely, the Imperial Guard
Oh I'm so using this quote when I play my comissar in wrath and glory thank my good sir.
Best theme in this game
Awesome soundtrack
I agree the vocals are a swesome touch to this song indeed.....
u cannot imagine what have we see with our eyes ...
I was in front of the best 10 players in the world and this theme is rampant...
You don't have any idea of how I felt...
Along with a chorus comprised of some Ancestral spirits from the Craftworld's infinity circuit! ^_^

@nuroko it is "i walk to witch path , and it leads to war"
Malan'tai, kind of like the sisters of battle now, one of the ways you could prove that your faction was the winniest was by having them wipe out an entire eldar craftworld. A Tyranid super unit apparently did it by itself. Which is why it has never been heard from again.
This song gives me goosebumps
This reminds me of Two Steps From Hell - Red Omen, really similar song.
"You have heard stories. Of your fellow guardsmen found dead with no signs of a struggle. Of giant armoured swordsmen tearing tanks open with blades the length of a earthshaker. You were afraid. ''Fortune favors us. We must press it while we may.''
I'm gonna play a TT game saturday with my eldar army and this music fit perfectly for preparing my army.
I walked the Witchpath, and it leads to war.
AngryGeth you do realize that there about 100 guardsmen for every eldar

Terrans vs Space Marines vs UNSC vs Colonial Marines, Eldar vs Protoss vs Covenant vs Yautja, Tyranids vs Zerg vs Flood vs Xenomorphs.
Space Marine = Win, just because of wargear
Tyrranid = Win, the Zerg are just them toned down and I don't think Flood can absorb their biomass, and can't be impregnated by Xenomorphs.

LOLman Plague? Did you say plague?

Good old space elves.

I. Love. This. Music. So. Fucking. Much.
The whole game was awesome, i still overplay it.

path of exile:from pirates to safety, rangers and the last
path of command, which is like a farseer without psyhic powers
you guys?what path you choose?
Eldar was the most awesome race in DoW1
Sounds like a chorus of banshee with a faurser conducting them.
