- This is part two of Overlanding and Camping in a Van. My adventure with Donald from @softroadingthewest , was to explore new potential overland routes through the high desert of Oregon State. Mapping software and satellite images can't always portray how fantastic an area is. To find that out, you have to put rubber to the dirt.

I got stuck just east of Juntura last summer (story for another time,) it was my first trip to Oregon and I fell in love with that area- the remoteness, the deep valleys, the ancient hills layered in muted earth tones...cannot wait to come back and explore more. I am tickled that both you and Donald are pleasantly surprised at how much you are enjoying it.

Great video the last shot at the end showed the lake it looked like Sasquatch to me (I'm sorry but I'm a Big Fan of Squatch) the scenery is awesome and what an adventure it would be to explore all that you have shown how wonderful your state is thanks keep up the great work

I have been following along with you on Google Earth. Been meaning to get into that area for awhile now. I guess once I get my East/West Idaho Overland Route all worked out I will have to take a gander over there. Tell Donald "hi" for me. George.

Sausage will defrost pretty fast in a pan simmered in some water and covered lid. Then it is perfect for sausage gravy with pancakes or biscuits. Add some butter! 😍

I'm not sure where you're at but in Arizona, you cannot camp within a quarter mile of a water hole which
clearly shows with the drone shot of camp. Be safe on your travels.
How often do you run into private land issues? Seems frustrating.
