Very surprised that the club building process still involves so much manual work. Now I appreciate my beloved Ping set even more.

When I bought my PING clubs (G15 irons) back in 2011 they were forged in the USA in the PING facility in Arizona. I guess all clubs now days are forged in Asia but assembled in the PING facilities in the UK and the USA.

Terrible golf company. I purchased their flagship iron the Blueprint in 2019 but this very Gainsborough fitting factory screwed up the shafting something terrible using their high speed numatic air gun to force the shaft into the hozel and the hozels started to bend. I paid £1750 for nine irons only to be told by one of their phone sales reps that a bending and pliability in the soft forged hozel is to be expected. I wrote several complaints to Ping headquarters in USA and they finally gave me a refund and a verbal phonecall apology. They told me in the phonecall that if I ever purchase from them again they would give me a set hand built like the contracted pros in the Tour van. Hows them apples for great customer service. I’m finished with Ping and play Yamaha products now which are streets ahead of this outfit. Ping still bend hozels by hammer to adjust lie angle????
