I have Ping i210s which completely transformed my game three seasons ago. After next season I think I will go and get custom fitted for i230s or the equivalent
I’ve got a Ping fitting coming up in February because I’m struggling with my longer irons, probably due to a loss swing speed. Currently playing i210s, which in my 7 - PW I’ll probably keep with maybe a bit of loft and lie tweaking. Thinking of i530s for 6 down. Great bit of info here about lie angles of wedges though. I was fitted before with red dot (1 deg flat) throughout the bag. Maybe it’s why I tend to miss left with my wedges. Interesting. Will see what they say on the day.
Thank you! On this occasion I didn’t. We were limited with time and wanted to get driver in for the next video too. So much more to look at so we may need to sort another trip 😄
Great video most interesting just goes to show a fitting is essential for any golfer regardless of handicap, actually even more for a high handicapper. Would you say that slower swing speeds sub 80 mph better to go for game improvement irons or still go for players distance?
Thanks Seve! Glad you enjoyed it. Yes everyone would benefit from a fitting! Game improvement irons are primarily aiming at forgiveness, helping maintain speeds of poor strikes. If at a slower speed your averaging 8/10 strikes then the beauty of ping is they have so many irons to cater. I530 and i230 still offer forgiveness, whilst offering a players profile 👍🏻
This video has me researching a Ping iron fitting. This process is exactly what I want to do.
So much fun Jason
I think he should have thicker grips as he is turning the ball quite much to the left. This would help him to keep the face straighther
I would love to experience a fitting by Ping, world class accommodation. Awesome content.
Certainly a fantastic experience! Thanks 👍🏻

Brilliant! Glad it could help! We hope you enjoy your fitting👍🏻 Happy new year
Great video...I really enjoyed it.
Thank you
Damn...you have a great move!
Very cool. Did you try the 4i in the 230 and the recommended 4h by copilot?

@@AFGOLFSTORE Thanks Alan I’m between i530 and T350.
I’m 6’1 standard length blue dot.
You're tall. Get the midsize grips. Easier to swing, easier on your joints. Blueprint S is money. Have a great 2025.
