NS B73 and CPKC 230 in Taylor, MI | CP 8757 Every Child Matters Leading! (4/10/24)

I woke up this day to immediately catching word of the CP every child matters unit leading 230 through Elkhart, IN at 6:06am. Lucky for me it was held at CP Preston due to his length and waiting for B73 to leave Oakwood, otherwise I would have missed him.
Unlike the CN ECM units, which are just stickers, the CP unit is in a fully different paint scheme, with the words painted on the locomotive. Definitely a nice one! It gets me on the board for CPKC’s special interest fleet, aside from catching two of their maroon and grey scheme heritage units. 
And can’t forget about the B73 local job heading west right before the 230, led by it’s usual SD40-2, #3343.

B71 is B71 when returning west as well. B73 is a local that runs from Milan in the evening. (Recently found that out). Cool catches too btw
