Listening in rapt attention to Bach is tantamount to praying. How truly blessed we are to be living in the present time. So many Ensembles dedicated to performing His music and the technology to sate ourselves with such glorious music at the touch of a control! Truly blessed. Thank you Brilliant Classics.....
When I close my eyes I am sitting in my personal manor house waiting for the dinner to be served.On the right sits my wonderful wife and on the left my personal advisor. In the back of my dining room I see a small ensemble which is conducted by JS Bach and bringing me the wonderful tunes that I am listening at the moment.
You are living in the past! Those kinds of things have become part of history. Nowadays, Bach is not exclusive. He belongs to the public and has become very popular. It was not like this during those ages. But even then how can I neglect your wonderful imagination in constructing an imaginary story (beautifully narrated) with one among the three favorites (other two include Beethoven and Mozart) composers of mine as the protagonist of your story. If I neglect this angle people will call me lunatic. I think someone is running nearer as if chasing a stray dog! I have to escape. Wonderful listening and three cheers!
@@jayakumarkaarikuzhy4713 Bach, Mozart, ans Beethoven is a nice set of favourites (though the list of european baroque and classical composers is a lot longer)... wondering if you also listen to Hindustani classical?... so much more ancient, so different from european... and in no way inferior

Bach is always a good choice. I don't know why this wonderful cantata escaped my notice, but I'm here listening to it so intesley that I can't write the messages I should have written. What I wouldn't give to meet Bach and show him how much music has affected me and millions of people around the world.over so many generations.
I am an occsional Bach junky. Ive heard many versions of Bach's cantatas and without a doubt yours is my favorite. It sounds authentic, as if you are transported back to the time these were first composed. Thank you for making them available!
