These are so beautiful! I love that you sanded down the edges of your work. That's one thing I don't see other RUclipsrs recommending very often and I always wish they would. It is such an easy way to make your item look even better!!

Love these and the braid effect actually looks like a knitted piece. I love it...and love leaving it in its natural organic colour. Stunning. But my favourite is the monstera leaf. Perfect! I think using a gunners leaf would work great too or a rodgisera leaf.

I have been watching your air dry clay projects all day! I love all the different things you've made. Have you made a face planter yet? I have a foam head with a nice woman's face that I want to use as a template molding. I am not sure how to do it with Dry Air Clay. Can you try to make one and show it to us? Thank you.

Unfortunately air dry clay is not food safe or you can't make it 100% waterproof. For the soap dish I would recommend using polymer clay

If you just add a little water to the surface of all of the clay with your finger then lay the leaf upside down (ink facing the clay,) then press down on the paper every so slightly all over the leaf, it will transfer into your clay. Then you can cut along the lines with the exacto knife.

Great ideas. My favorite is the monstera leaf. I have 3 monstera plants so I need to make this. Is the template online somewhere?
I love monstera plants. I don't have any yet but I love to admire them online. 🤭
I don't have tamplate for it, sorry. As far as I remember I just Google image monstera leaf and change it to the size I want in "paint".

I usually put mod podge on all my projects. It makes them slightly harder and water resistant. I've still got all these items and they are in very good condition. In my opinion air dry clay is quite hard wearing when is dry and protected with varnish. 😘

Of course you can skip the sealer. I always use it just to make the product bit harder, more durable and water resistant.

I would like to know how to make Air dry clay at home
I love all these projects too, they are amazing. However I have a question, if you use varnish then is it water resistant?

By applying varnish (specially few layers) it becomes water resistant. However try to avoid any contact with the water really. Air dry clay is more for decorative purpose, and if you want to give it a clean just use dump cloth.

Unfortunately air dry clay is not waterproof. Even by applying varnish I wouldn't risk with too much water 😉

This is DAS air dry clay. You can't really make it waterproof. You can use pod podge to make it water resistant but not waterproof. This is clay mainly for decorating purposes. ☺️

What a lovely job and a lovely tutorial also. Please tell me though how do you stop the clay from sticking to the counter after you roll it out and shape it because mine is stuck to the counter and I can't get it off what do I do what do you suggest

I usually put some baking paper/ parchment paper. They quite silky on one side, almost like they are waxed. Very easy to remove clay from surface like this.

You could turn the leaf pic over, ink against the clay. Rub all over with wet finger, then lift paper off. Picture has transferred

You should do a aloe vera hair mask on your hair. It would define your curls and tame the frizz
Thank you for the advice, I will definitely try it. I'm actually in the process of trying different cosmetics and see what works for my hair the best. I'm avoiding silicones and sulphates as much as I can 🤭

Will the monstera leaf clay breaks easily when you use your hand pressure on it?
No it shouldn't. Clay becomes really hard once dry. 😊
