Phil Long Are you on the blood pressure drug called Coreg (carvedilol) ? If not, ask your doctor about it asap. It saves lives as it strengthens the heart. Has your cardiologist talked to you about assist devices that can help your heart beat stronger? There are many major advances in this area of medicine. New drugs are coming out all the time that can strengthen the heart and make it pump more efficiently. Go to the largest cardiac teaching hospital that is the nearest to you - one in a big city with many experienced cardiologists if possible. There are things they can do to help you.

The unknown is what's so terrifying. I was my mum's carer during the 6 years she went through cancer and there does come a time where you accept you need more help and stop putting on a front. We are the same age, Dan, and I can't fathom all you've been through and will go through but you have made a mark on many peoples hearts x

I have to get scanned every 3 months for now. this man here was so breave. but I lived with that fear as well. so I know how scary it is.
It is so hard to see others upset in the family. We try to be upbeat but yeah it is so hard. My dear mum believes I’ll be fine. Likely it’s her way of coping. Hard when I began with a stage 4 diagnosis five years ago and now it looks like it’s in my lungs. I get another update on Wednesday. Hey hunnie, I love that you do these videos, my mum passed away 20yrs ago with myeloid lukemia I think that's how you spell it...i am still struggling with her loss all these years later. I was so devastated she kept it from us all but we all knew she was very sick, I have wondered all these years later on how she coped..She had been told at the time by her specialist that she was dying and that she did not have long....My dad said she didn't tell me because she could not cope with my emotions, she also could not look me in the eye, my dad said she found it too hard because she didn't want to say goodbye, I'm crying now writing this as it brings all the emotions to the surface, I honestly do not know how you cope I think your amazing and so brave, I have a son myself he's 21 and the thought of anything like this happening to him would tear me apart! Your mum is also a hero to because she's been with you every step of the way and my heart is broken foe her give her a massive big kiss and hug from me , xxx you should be made a saint or get some kind of honour for sharing your heart felt blogs take care try and keep strong and positive xxxxxx❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣

You shouldn't feel guilty or responsible about any trauma caused to your family, you've got enough without all their concerns on your plate. Know how much they must love you and concentrate on taking care of yourself.
Don't feel guilty for leaning on your family. That's what family does. I saw my dad suffer during his fight with cancer and it affects me to this day. But as his son, I'm grateful I could be there for him, hold his hand and comfort him. I wear that scar with no regrets.
I think its easier for a parent to lean on a grown up child as that is what people do when they get older, then it is for one to lean on their older parents as an adult. Unfortunately too if family is getting upset when you do try to lean on them, they become no emotional support for you. It only causes stress then if you are having to try to calm them down

Since January I'm following you and your life on RUclips and I have to say I admire your strength and positivity. It's sad that this beast called cancer has not yet been eradicated worldwide. (Is that the right English word for it?) The situation you are in is one big nightmare for you, as well for your family. I sadly know the feeling Dan. They have given me Ondensetron for the sickness but it doesn't seem to work & on massive doses of Morphine. I'm just so tired. The cure is to eat a bulb of garlic a day ,or as much garlic as you can tolerate. My grandpa did this and he beat prostate cancer. Garlic is a natural blood thinner at high levels and an EXTREME antiinflammatory, contains organosulfurs, kills fungi and bacteria, and ultimately kills tumors/cancer. Just google it and see how others beat cancer with just eating raw garlic. The unknown is what's so terrifying. I was my mum's carer during the 6 years she went through cancer and there does come a time where you accept you need more help and stop putting on a front. We are the same age, Dan, and I can't fathom all you've been through and will go through but you have made a mark on many peoples hearts x

I have to get scanned every 3 months for now. this man here was so breave. but I lived with that fear as well. so I know how scary it is.

It is so hard to see others upset in the family. We try to be upbeat but yeah it is so hard. My dear mum believes I’ll be fine. Likely it’s her way of coping. Hard when I began with a stage 4 diagnosis five years ago and now it looks like it’s in my lungs. I get another update on Wednesday. Hey hunnie, I love that you do these videos, my mum passed away 20yrs ago with myeloid lukemia I think that's how you spell it...i am still struggling with her loss all these years later. I was so devastated she kept it from us all but we all knew she was very sick, I have wondered all these years later on how she coped..She had been told at the time by her specialist that she was dying and that she did not have long....My dad said she didn't tell me because she could not cope with my emotions, she also could not look me in the eye, my dad said she found it too hard because she didn't want to say goodbye, I'm crying now writing this as it brings all the emotions to the surface, I honestly do not know how you cope I think your amazing and so brave, I have a son myself he's 21 and the thought of anything like this happening to him would tear me apart! Your mum is also a hero to because she's been with you every step of the way and my heart is broken foe her give her a massive big kiss and hug from me , xxx you should be made a saint or get some kind of honour for sharing your heart felt blogs take care try and keep strong and positive xxxxxx❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣

You shouldn't feel guilty or responsible about any trauma caused to your family, you've got enough without all their concerns on your plate. Know how much they must love you and concentrate on taking care of yourself.

Don't feel guilty for leaning on your family. That's what family does.
I saw my dad suffer during his fight with cancer and it affects me to this day. But as his son, I'm grateful I could be there for him, hold his hand and comfort him. I wear that scar with no regrets.
I think its easier for a parent to lean on a grown up child as that is what people do when they get older, then it is for one to lean on their older parents as an adult. Unfortunately too if family is getting upset when you do try to lean on them, they become no emotional support for you. It only causes stress then if you are having to try to calm them down

I sadly know the feeling Dan. They have given me Ondensetron for the sickness but it doesn't seem to work & on massive doses of Morphine. I'm just so tired.
I truly hope they can at least make you comfortable & be aware that you are loved by everybody who interacts with you. You have a huge support network, use it.
