I’m with you I’m going through the mill too I’m home with surgical wounds that are so painful right now we’re trying to juggle my pain meds to make sure I’m covered better. How lush is that quilt you deserve that! Wish I could send something to brighten your day but I’m bedbound so can’t get out.. but I’d like to as soon as I’m able.. I just wanted you to know I’m here in solidarity and going through chronic Lyme disease and SSC (HPV squamous cell carcinoma) I’m still here still fighting first diagnosis was 2006! Just had 34th surgery so very tired but I will keep Fighting! Love & Prayers to you & big hugs #SuperDan #Warrior xxxx

Oh Dan, I got one too! I'm so excited for you. I wrapped myself in it when I had my chemo as it had been prayed over by dozens of women from an American church. I felt so comforted and safe when I lay in it. How blessed and loved we are. x

a quilt like you ,,wild and crazy but warm and strong ,,creative and colorful...that is a wonderful thing to do for others to share a talent like that for ones that need it .
Support from a community is critical. I remember when my dad was ill with cancer it was just me and my mom helping him and friends and relatives coming by and chipping in meant a lot. That was pre-social media, so today you have many more people checking in on you and willing to pitch in (if close enough to do so). Take care and I look forward to your next video (and take your time - when you feel up to it).

The cure is to eat a bulb of garlic a day ,or as much garlic as you can tolerate. My grandpa did this and he beat prostate cancer. Garlic is a natural blood thinner at high levels and an EXTREME antiinflammatory and kills tumors/cancer. Just google it and see how others beat cancer with just eating raw garlic.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. No science experiment has played out more times and with more deadly results than chemotherapy. even if you fall into the 5% that survive 5 years (it used to be based on 10 year survival but they werent improving the stats at all so they changed it to 5 years so they could claim they were winning) you will have chemo brain and be a shadow of your former self. cancer is a disease of ignorance, science (otto warburg) found a cure and was awarded a nobel prize long ago. so fucking disgusted with western greed

Hi Dan, I'm in Cornwall & I sew. When you sew a quilt a lot of work goes into them & an awful lot of love. Wrap it around you & you will feel it, seriously you compare it to any shop bought textiles you have. It will be your own space, it is really very special & I hope you can see that there are a lot of people out here who really do care about you a lot. Live in the moment no matter how you are feeling. It looks like you have wonderful family & support network, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks of you every day. I'm so happy they made that quilt for you, it's made my day. You will make it. I don't care about statistics, facts or anything else you will live. If a doctor tells you theres nothing they can do, they right but, there is something you can do. Remember that you will make it through this, do NOT EVER give up. No matter how hard you want to give in you won't. This is the first video I have watched and whether or not you see this, in a year from now you will look back and see it was sure as hell worth the fight you were forced to fight in.

Stay strong man! I just found your videos today. I lost my grandma a couple days ago due to cancer, but that woman was diagnosed and told 3-6 months to live...she fault 3 years! She didn’t leave this world until she was damn ready to. You’re young man, you got this enjoy life. I’m not religious by any means but I’m sending a holler up to the big man if he’s up there listening!

She’s an amazing lady who struggles with a chronic pain condition. Sewing is a huge passion of hers. The money, time and love that goes into every quilt is phenomenal. There are some amazing, kind people in this world.

If I could give you a standing ovation for the braveness your showing and everything your going through I would, you truly are a genuine and amazing bloke , my aunt died last year after a short battle with brain cancer she wasn’t aware of her condition and she declined rapidly and died three month later

Dan, that smile on your face lit up the room. When my mom died, i took a few of her favorite sweaters and a pjamma top she loved. On down days i put them on and swear i feel her arms around me. So my brother from a different mother, you wrap up in that quilt and feel the love seep into your battle worn soul. Think how every stitch is not of thread but love from each and everyone that worked on it . its little we lot can do for you, so shut your eyes and IMAGINE.
