Hi would you be willing to share where your jars and lids are from they are gorgeous I have been looking for these types everywhere. Amazon is so expensive
Thank you for also using this black owned product brand named OSLOVE Organics. I just found out they are black owned so I’m purchasing my butters from them from now on.
Make sure when you melt down your butters hold over the heat for 20 minutes. This allows those hard grains to melt back into the melted butters. Sense I've done this I haven't had problems with graininess! Yeah! It sincerely helps. Jill
I just use coconut and shea butter and whip it the same way. if it stops fluffing up I stick the unready mixture in the fridge for a couple of minutes and whip it again, it helps to make it more fluffy if it doesn't whip well enough or doesn't fluff up.
Hi, Thank you for sharing, I don’t melt my sensitive butter directly, I melt the other ingredients( oils & high melting points butters, like cocoa for example ) and then I just add the Shea butter after removing the other oils/ butter from the heat. I also go back and forth between whipping for a while and placing my container back inside the refrigerator . When I am happy with the consistency I leave the butter to cool down to room temperature, usually for several hours to be sure it keeps the consistency and does not deflate Thank you
I don't usually comment on videos, but I just want to say that this is one of the best tutorial videos I have seen as far as explaining the flash freeze process and how to avoid/fix graininess! Thank you!
I noticed when I stopped using candellia wax my butters dont be grainy anymore and when i used less oils i like this diy gonna have to look into the tana butter
For me because i also ship out, the shea butter always made mine grainy when they melted.ive now added candellia wax to make them more harder so they dont melt as easy.
I love all your videos. I’m so glad I found your channel, I have learned so much❤️. I love making whipped butters but never used Oslove, I put in a large order and can’t wait to try everything.
Love the old and new recipe you really have to make it to your own personal hair needs it really works for me like a Pomade and as a sealant! This recipe is inside of my reigman for keeps thanks you for sharing and caring it's really a blessing ❤️
Wow like I said before, I am so glad I found your channel! You have help me so much I can’t tell you. You really give a ton of tip and tricks along with great explanations. Take care and stay safe Leanne
Hi Yaya! If I add Mango butter to the list of ingredients, how much should I add? Also, will it turn out the same if I remove the arrowroot powder? Thanks!
Thank you for the video and how informative it was :) I do have a question though, if I only have she butter, can I go ahead and make the body butter, or do I have to add another butter for its consistency?
The place where I live is hot so my shea butter is in a paste like consistency, should I still melt it before adding my oils I wanted to add alovera gel(store brought) What proportions should I use these 3things, shea butter, coconut oil and alovera gel? I m making this for my hair
Love your content !! . I just have 2 questions, are the frosted containers you have in this video glass or plastic ? And where can I purchase .. Thank You ❤️
Sorry for the late reply. They are frosted glass. I have a couple vendors. They are all sold out at the moment, but you can try amazon or soap goods. I will make a video talking about it more 💜
I just found your wonderful channel! I am looking forward to trying the reduced oil (compared to other recipes online) because many are almost 48% oil, and there is just not enough arrowroot in them to compensate. Thank you for the excellent explanations, and I look forward to catching up on your other videos.
Okay so will this work if the Shea butter is already whipped?? Lol, it was whipped but still hard, so I thought I’d add some whipped coconut oil w/ vitamin E to it and melt and whip.. I’m trying to get that fluffy airy whipped consistency 😕. It’s been whipping for over 20 mins now and it just looks creamy not that airy whipped look 😕
This is so lovely. However I have a question.... I prepared a diy whip Shea butter, in the process of transportation, it was exposed to high heat and melted. The fluffyness was lost and it hardened back. How do I combat this?
You can try Soap Goods or Premium vials, but the last I checked, they were out of stock. The Cary Company may have some but they are not frosted. Same for the lids, I have tried several sites but they all want large wholesale orders or are out of stock. However, you can request samples. Try Citadel packaging, but even now I only see the gold metallic. Sorry I can't help more, but I will keep you all posted if I come across some again. Also, Alibaba has them but they are not 8 oz.
I love your content and the way you showcase your products and formulations. I know you don't particularly like your containers with the lids for your products, but they are perfect for mine. Could you tell me where you purchased them? Thanks!
Hi I love the video! Thanks so much!where did you buy the containers I love the colour of their cap and how did you create the name label? it is simple and clear !
What type of arrowroot do u use. If i get it will I have any allergic reactions to it? Or is it all natural? Besides the butter wouldn't the arrowroot make it feel a little grainy?
I made this butter and I would like something softer and more whipped-like, kinda more lotion-y if that makes sense LoL. I've seen on some of your other videos that have 'softer' more whipped body butters, you have a higher oil ratio. Can I remake this butter softer (since I already have the ingredients) by adding more oil? Does anyone have any advice for me?
Yaya, can you please tell me where you got your jars from. I've been looking for jars with a good/copper tone top and I'm having the hardest time trying to find them.
This is great I love it . I make my own body butter and I’m in the relaunching of my new brand log and name. I think you did a great job. I use a lot more oil now that I moved to Southern California And it has worked great especially when I moisturize at nigh I wake up. Or needing to add anything for the day Hopefully sometime in the future we can communicate and share ideas.
Thanks so much for this informative video! Question: if you want to make this unscented, would you just add more carrier oil or vitamin e oil instead of the fragrance oil? Thanks in advance!!
I have arrowroot powder just didnt know how much to use can i use these same measurements if i use shea and mango butter? Those the butters i use in my whipped sheas
Hi there! I’ve been trying to make butters but somehow my butters become very hard during the mixing part. I’ll be mixing my butter for maybe a minute and the butter becomes hard so I can’t continue to whip and make it a fluffy butter. Do you know what I’m doing wrong? Used unrefined shea, jojoba, avocado and grape seed oil. Used the melt en freeze method like in your video’s.
How do I add Stearic acid ? Keeps getting small grainy lumps even when melted down after. I add it in during cold press method after I melt the acid. Do I mix longer ?
I love them both. It really is about preference. The emulsion is definitely more stable, you do not have to worry about melting butters and the texture is beautiful and consistent. On the other hand, the butter is more pure and there is no way to mimic the beautiful texture and skin feel. But, it can be expensive and the texture can be easily altered. Temperature, etc. I hope this helps 💜
Plz the organic body and face oil! Like what please . Lemon? Aloe vera, coconut, etc,, and a question about arrowroot powder it is necessary if we can’t find it?

Thank you for sharing. Yes, In most cases Shea butter can be lightly melted or not melted at all because it is so soft. Great practice 💜💜
I love that you troubleshoot common issues while you are taking us through making this product. Great information!
that you for explaining why certain butters get grainy! i've heard people ask and no one had a real answer besides "that's just how it is"
I don't usually comment on videos, but I just want to say that this is one of the best tutorial videos I have seen as far as explaining the flash freeze process and how to avoid/fix graininess! Thank you!
Love it. So happy I found your channel. Your explain everything so beautifully.
Thank you! Welcome, welcome. Glad to help 😊💜
For the jars that you have, is there a wholesale website?
That looks wonderful! Learnt something new... I didn’t know you could add arrowroot powder in whipped butters. Thank you so much Yaya. I’ll try this.
You are so welcome. Glad to help and definitely give it a try 😊💜
Can we use licorice or zinc powder instead?
You make the best recipes for whipped shake butter I’ve ever seen. You have great products and recipes thank you so much for sharing this
This is exactly what I do every time I work with butters. Great video!
I love a good body butter!😊 also your piping is getting better!! Yyaass sis!. Keep growing!!!❤❤
Another suggestion would be to melt the butters and oil in the double boiler before whipping, then put in freezer.
I noticed when I stopped using candellia wax my butters dont be grainy anymore and when i used less oils i like this diy gonna have to look into the tana butter
Absolutely. Candellia wax is one of the hardest waxes, so this makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing 😊💜
For me because i also ship out, the shea butter always made mine grainy when they melted.ive now added candellia wax to make them more harder so they dont melt as easy.
Nina Era at what percentage do you add the candellia wax?
How do you guys do the percentages?

Hi
Can I substitute Tamanu Butter for Mango BuTTER?
Thanks
Thank you so much, I have this issue a lot. I will give it a try.
I love this container and the lid too , so classy. May I ask where you get it from?

I love the White Tea Fragrance😍 That looks so beautiful💙 I always melt my butters!
I love it. You inspire me to keep on trying out formulations. Thank you Yaya.
Would you also use the arrowroot powder with mango and cocoa butter ? Also besides these two butters what else would you mix together ?
Does your whipped shea butter turn solid after it sits for a while?
Thank you for the video and how informative it was :) I do have a question though, if I only have she butter, can I go ahead and make the body butter, or do I have to add another butter for its consistency?
Does the oil melt in transit? Like in the car or during shipping? What do you do to limit melting?
Can this be done with just Mango butter? Or the combo of mango and shea butter together¥
The place where I live is hot so my shea butter is in a paste like consistency, should I still melt it before adding my oils
I wanted to add alovera gel(store brought)
What proportions should I use these 3things, shea butter, coconut oil and alovera gel? I m making this for my hair
What is a substitute for Tamanu butter? This looks beautiful
sisss the timing of you posting this video 🖤
As always you come through with jewels! I had a question, can this be used on oily skin?
Thank you! Would you mind sharing where you got the lids? The jars and labels are beautiful!
Thanks for sharing your recipe Yaya, by the way do you measure all the butters that you used in your formulation?

However I have a question.... I prepared a diy whip Shea butter, in the process of transportation, it was exposed to high heat and melted. The fluffyness was lost and it hardened back.

Tamanu butter is a nut butter right? Could that possibly be an allergy for someone allergic to nuts?
Hi Yaya,
Where did you get the jars and lids from, also the essential oil fragrance you used
Yass would love to know this also, so beautiful 😍
Check hobby lobby.com hon for the jars. I seen them on there a couple of months back.

Can I replace Arrowroot powder with another raw material? Which one is better... thanks
Is it advisable to put it in the sun instead of the double boiler?
Should your butter be more than your oils to achieve that fluffiness??
Instead of the organic face oil can it be substituted with sweet almond oil or grapeseed oil?
Yes
Will be good , just shea butter and coconut ?
can you add arrowroot during meltdown process? or is better to add after its cooled

What could you use in place of the face and body oil? Safflower oil maybe?
