I truly appreciate your videos. I have switched to emulsified body butter but also do the whipped butters on request by customers. Because some people really love their whipped butters lol. I do a higher percentage of kokum and cocoa butters with a balance of mango and shea, my total butters at 80% & my oils at 20% and I am really happy with the outcome.
Thanks so much ! That’s awesome that you found a lovely combination for your customers . I find my customers prefer the traditional whipped body butters too lol 💕
I love your videos as well! What I’ve found that I love to incorporate in my body butter is Cupuacu butter, Kokum butter, murumuru butter, cocoa butter, a small amount of coconut oil organic, Babassu oil, small amount of argan and jojoba with vitamin E, and a scoop of corn silk. You can use this as both whipped, or poured straight into the container and it has such a delightful consistency. When it’s just poured in, it doesn’t matter if it melts because it goes right back exactly the way it was before.
Thanks so much ! Your body butter blend looks divine ! I love all the ingredients 😍 I plan on using murumuru butter in a body butter creation soon . Thanks so much for sharing 💕
Thank you for this video. I just ordered me some Kokum butter. I always use my family for my experiments. They are very honest about my finished product samples formulas.
Hi! Thank you for this video. It’s very informative. I just recently started making body butters a few months ago. I’m still perfecting my formula. I’ve been using shea butter and adding cetyl alcohol to it. Does that help with keeping the butter stable when in a warm/hot temperature or should that only be used when making an emulsified butter?
Hi ! You are welcome . It depends . I can’t say if using Shea butter & Cetyl alcohol together is enough to keep your body butter stable and not melt . You will have to test that for yourself to see . Cetyl alcohol has a melting point of around 120 degrees F . You will want to add a harder butter with a higher melting point like cocoa or kokum butter for more stability in the hotter months
@@OceNatural Ok. Yes I will be testing that out in the coming months. I also add my liquid oils and fragrance as well as arrow root powder. But I will also try using a harder butter with it next time to try it out. Thanks again.
