This was a fun sesh. I'm personally terrified of pavement changes, but it seems like you handled it well. That line of cement drain(?) just before the corner would make me super nervous in a straight. But you handled it as a corner really well.
I see you're trying a torque block. That would be awesome! It would help give extra forward-bias weight distribution as well as lock your rear foot (and force it to be slanted too).
Those clear Seismics are a type of wheel called "dumpers". They'll "dump" so much thane onto the road that they'll run out of life relatively quickly. You'll probably core them in a few sessions, but, in general, dumpers slide really well and make the rider feel extremely satisfied about the thane lines produced.
    Have fun!

Thank you and it truly was a tremendous confidence builder. Oddly, the concrete cross gutter is fine by me-use to it-have one on my 41 mph hill and anticipate subtle dip/bounce and keep control.
Yes, look forward to putting on-right hopefully. I did get some after market 24 grit 2” x 15’ tape to help foot traction? Truthfully-unclear how far back I should be and is it for ball of my foot or heel?
Looking forward to some tremendous dumping- haha. I guess I get excited with thane.

@@cantskate5535 Torque blocks are angled in the same way that your feet should be, so they will make contact with both your ball and heel while traveling straight.
In a heelside slide, the proper back foot position will make your heel mainly press on the torque block.
In a toeside, it will be your toes and ball of your foot that presses on the torque block.
You're gonna have to do extensive testing until you find the right position and angle for your preference.
Personally, my front foot is 45-degrees and my back foot is a bit more perpendicular to the board than the front foot, so I'm approximating it to be around 30 degrees??? Not sure cuz I'm eyeballing it.

@@nickamarit thanks. Thats helpful. Guessing distance about 6 inches from tail and my back foot is actually getting more sensitive - specifically the inner toe edge. I forgot to mention that in video, but first time actually felt in control -which I guess means I’m getting use to back foot being lower on side.
