  • Hi. Put my Shark board back together and tested set-up.
Quite an eye opener for me because I’ve been riding mostly split set up (Bear Gen 6 40 degree front, 35 degree back), but everything felt in control.

a tip that helped me a lot is to look where you want to go during the slide: so if you look downwards, the board is going to come back to its original position facing the slope at the end of the slide. keep on!

Thanks. Still haven’t been focusing on continuing downhill, but just stopping. Will be focusing more on looking downhill in up coming sessions.

Oh, you were on a symmetrical setup? Wow, you were so stable I didn't realize you were on a symmetrical setup until you showed your setup pic at the end (your angles were 44/44). No wonder you appeared to have some very slight micro-wobbles when getting down to prepare to slide (like at 1:15).

Yes, symmetrical, but felt surprisingly in more control than I expected. Board is super light and sensitive, which with more practice I could get use to.
