Acrylic is 2.8mm thick. I would use lexan/polycarbonate as it's much easier to work with and less brittle so far less likely to give you a headache when working with it. Also more durable over time
Ok, the corner bracket has been designed. Just printing it off to make sure it's good to go. Two versions. One with a spot for a piece of metal or small magnet to match the ones in the hood. The other Is flat at the top
