At one day the group went into a near forrest but the barbarian stayed there to defend the village.

@@BlueTyphoon2017 Might as well have. Actually, most "witches" were convicted on less. If someone just accused someone of bewitching them, depending on the local social status, they would be instantly arrested. Their trials were far from fair, and lasted only a few minutes. In order not to die, some decided to confess to being witches, but obviously they weren't(sometimes they would be killed anyway). I don't know of any specific cases where number guessing itself was used to accuse someone of witchcraft, but things like paganism and social hierarchy played a large role in conviction. This is all based on the Salem Witch trials though, which is American. European witchcraft is different, but probably similar.
Almador European witchcraft and American witchcraft is pretty similar, considering the Americans were settlers from Europe.
Historically, many "witches" where burned for being better at medicine than studied doctors.

Dice and players having a different story in mind. Trust me any serious threat can be turned into the but of a joke when your party almost dies to a broom. Currently in one game we have a running joke the final boss will be a animated broom.
@@jhart6764 Your DM should include an animated broom as a boss, they gave Mickey enough trouble in Sorcerer's Apprentice (the animated short, not the Nick Cage film).
This is so Monty Python influenced the more I watch it. This sketch is great. So glad Wizzo got his own spinoff.
