I have the Q2 and love it. Yes, I know how to tamp very well and even enjoy the process, but a re-emerging old repetitive strain injury began to render my morning cappuccinos increasingly painful, so this machine saved my wrist. In the bargain, I discovered that the automated tamps are perfect and inhumanly consistent, which eliminated a variable from my espresso process. The Q2 is a joy to use, and worth every penny - to me. This new model should make an automatic tamper more accessible to more people. Kudos to PuqPress.
No .. the "people," as in home use, that are buying this have already own $4K+ modded espresso makers if not even more expensive, but I can't imagine anyone with an Oracle Touch purchasing it. In a commercial setting a couple hundred or so dollars isn't going to make any difference. Now if this was $400 or $500 then I'm certain a heck of lot more people would consider purchasing it. Although I think some sort of automation including declumping is more in order and needed...

Units sold in the United States are they compatible for 110 voltage? Looking to purchase one for my home due to hand injury.
How does it level the tamp? I don’t see it.
What I see is that the portafilter is maintained but it doesn’t guarantee a leveled tamp.
As a person with slow progressing ALS...there is no way I can exert 32 lbs of downward pressure. I need this for my coffee bar!
Wanted this for sure…until I saw the price. 🤯🤯🤯
I love my mini

It's not an April fools joke, it's an actual product

Not for the poors. Please disregard the video.
bad review... 8+ minutes and one single tamp and not even showing the result, lol.
