I picked up a group of these at a club auction recently. They are indeed a beautiful addition to my ‘menagerie’. 😉. Thanks again for a great video. Please keep posting!
Mine bred so much, I ended up getting a couple of female bettas for fry population control. The dominant males are definitely territorial and have flare-offs for the best spots. They have much longer, more flamboyant finnage. Mine love swimming in current. So much, they would swim up the lilly pipe outflow - I had to put a mesh over it. Feeding hasn't been an issue at all. To the point where CPDs were outcompeted. Baby brine shrimp bring out the best colours and breeding, I find. They're probably the perfect aquarium fish. Beautiful, peaceful, with interesting behaviour.
My WCMMs have vivid red dorsal fins and a much wider red area in the tail though, so while these have have a more pronounced line WCMMs are more colourful overall, but both species look great.
I, like many others, keep White Cloud Minnows (tanichtys albonubes) but wasn't aware of their cousins. Would you please happen to know the Latin name of those? English isn't spoken in the country where I live so with the international/latin name I could potentially place an order at my local petshop 😊
This is so interesting but I'm not gonna lie, I'm not seeing the "more attractive than white clouds" part, if anything they look more drab than my white cloud crew! Is it something that develops with time?
Happy to see you post again! Your species profiles are the best on RUclips.
Yeah, great footage, editing, no annoying intros, and very enjoyable to listen to!
I agree!!
As the males get older, their fins get longer. They're spectacular when the males flair at each other.

Thanks for the heads up re picky eating, that crossed them off my list straight away! ✌️
I have not had any issues with the ones I've had, but they were bred in captivity, which can make a big difference.

Great video! Mine bread once within weeks of getting them so I now have quite a few. They’re beautiful and interesting little fish…
These are on my radar. Hopefully next year outdoors.
Thank you for upload new video 😊❤
I've got a group of 5 of these and they are so lovely. Great tank mates for mystery snails too as they don't bother them.
ooh, I like this fish!
Love your voice
Just the albino form.😊
