Scrap man, I finally caught a video just when you put it up, I am the fourth viewer and the 23rd liker....how's that happen? 20 ppl liked it but didnt watch lol. Btw, what part of Fla you going to? Don't forget your sunblock and a panama hat, the sun will kill ya down here. Its in the upper 90s during the day but feels like 100+°. If you burn easily might even bring an umbrella Its good for the sun AND the rain. We never know which we're gonna get. LOL
Please watch out for that Florida sun. You can burn very easy in the summer. I hope the wedding is a great event. Have a safe trip.
Thanks for your prayers on those who are having a tough time financially. I'm one of those. More money going out than coming in. Your prayers are most welcomed.
I ask for prayer for mom on her cancer. She's scared to do chemo.
Oh Paul I took #2 household cords in at a scrap yard in fargo,North Dakota. 32 pounds of wire at 70 cents per pound it comes to $22.40
20 seconds of tranquility never gets old! Thank you for that. 💕
Those two vintage iron thing, that could be one cool dining room table
I had the same thought old, vintage, antique dining tables they would look really good
I found my Schwinn curbside. The brakes were same as the one you found. Easy fix for about $20. Definitely loving the trikes and industrial tables! The dinner story, was amazing! Blessed! Great video! 🌿💙
Most excellent
Whoa! I was on pin and needles the whole time praying you would not hurt yourself. I was go happy to see Rick was there to help you. He is a God sent. TY Rick. I hope you get a good price for those, you deserve it. Love you and your videos. ❤
At 23:47. Your reflection in the glass looked like you gave Michael a new body. Funny.
I saw that while editing. That was awesome
What beautiful pieces of equipment. Yes I would try to sale it first. Let us know what happens. Thanks to your friend for helping you. Take care and thanks for sharing. Love to all🥰
It would be almost criminal to scrap those beauties! They are stunning
Never quit what you love to do no matter what others may say. I've been watching your channel scrap & pellet man when you were 6mths into RUclips and you put smiles on the people you meet on your route because of your kindness and caring of the earth and those who can use what you find. God gave you this life to learn and appreciate and teach us the value of others needs and help. what you do is pleasing God for all of your good.. I hope this makes sense.
It makes total sense. You get it. Thanks for the encouragement Christina
As soon as I saw the intro to your video, I'm like Steampunk Art! Even better, Scottish Steampunk!!!
Such a cool story about your new Scottish friend, the restaurant, the dinner, and the awesome scrap!
Enjoyed your video as always, your words of inspiration and prayer are so welcome.
Good luck with selling the Steampunk scrap. Let us know how it goes.
I'm hoping your new lift gate means you won't be getting hurt and we'll see even more of you, in a world of craziness you are a island of sanity! Thank you,....................bet nobody ever told you that before!
Love seeing you two work together. I think Rick is right about those tables. Please let us know what you end up doing with them.
Nice to see you and the legendary Non Ferrous Rick do stuff together again, reminds me of the early days. Hope you get good money for those behemoths! Restored and a nice table top added, those can be worth thousands of dollars.
Love and appreciate your attitude. In context and in totality is definitely the way to approach life! Thanx
The two industrial pieces would make a really great table, probably with a glass top so you could see them.
Wow Paul! Them big industrial architecture table bottoms are so awesome! You n Rick handled them like Pro's you both are. It's good to see nonferrous Rick. Have a great day and good night, past my bedtime lol. God bless you n Rick. 🙏
I look forward to seeing the outcome of those big iron things. You two fellas really worked hard to get them loaded. Best wishes for a good outcome. 😊😊😊
That table is so cool! It reminds me of a shipwreck on one of those Bahamian islands we stopped at. Hope you get a good price for it. Might want to label it as "Steampunk" to get more views. Steampunkers will eat that thing up.
Hi Paul good to spend time with your pal Rick it's good to be in good company and friendship .whilst hanging about scrapping it warms my heart to see friends enjoying life as it should be stay safe a lord bless you both
Paul, no one in their right mind would be in the Coastie Air Sea Rescue service! But thank God for them! Thank you for your service however you served!🇺🇸
When I was going through fire control electronic school at Great lakes naval training center, all the Navy squids would try to make fun of us coasties. But secretly they all wished they joined the Coast Guard
If you're traveling by plane, check their website about the rules for luggage, carry-on and checked and associated charges. Each airline is different. I love your positive attitude and outlook. Thank you.
I wish I would have read this comment earlier. Checked baggage was $160
Rick is right, the industrial prices are worth more than scrap, great find! Rock on Paul, love your videos!
When you said a Scottish man walked. I remembered that I am part German and part Scottish Ireland. Love the videos Paul. I love how you go scraping for metal for some money. I collect aluminum cans. I am able to take aluminum cans to the scrap yard in Krebs Oklahoma. They do 0.30 cents a pound on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and on Wednesday it is 32 cents a pound.
Yes! Industrial Architecture first! Handmade pieces, unique design, old/vintage, even the rusty patina, it's all way more valuable than scrap to the right buyer. Best of luck here. Please show us soon how this ends, exciting! 😊👍 P.S. Great teamwork guys! 👏
I agree!
Yes! I also believe it’s worth way more than scrap! I honestly believe somebody’s going to want that and will pay more than you would get for scrap. Please let us know how it turns out. Take care stay safe!
I agree, Paul please let us know how this one ends. Great team work with Rick. Xx
Can't wait to see the outcome...to see if you sell them for more than just scrap value. I am with you though. I struggle to have the patience to resell rather than just scrapping.
Those table bases were definitely made as table bases, made to look like something assembled out of old 1800s machine parts. The tooth profile of the "gears" on the ends gives it away. They're simply triangular rather than involute for gear to gear mesh or sprocket style for a chain.
They just sold for $600
Probably 30+ episodes with the lift gate?
It must have been a lot of fun developing such an efficient mechanism.
I'd have to count. I don't think that many. Probably 15 videos
If you can not sell it to that Industrial Architecture place I would take it to the scrap yard. Just driving it around taking it off and on the truck etc. Means you are losing money. That would be hard to sell except to a specialized place . I hope you get more for it than scrap . Nice to see Rick. I'm half Irish half Scottish. The Irish half of me wants to party but the Scottish half won't pay for it. Have a good week . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤ Blessings
Those table legs are pretty cool, I hope someone buys them off of you, you’ll have to let us know if they sold or not.
And they just sold for $600
@@ScrapPalletMan Praise God, that’s awesome!!
RICK AND PAUL: I call the 2 of you the dynamite duo. Lol. Rick thanks for closing out this video with an awesome prayer. Stay strong. Elaine from hot hot Florida 🔥🔥🌴🌴🙏🙏
Hope the teens appreciated the gaming chairs and your thoughtfulness in bringing them home! Good fortune on your meeting a new friend. Be safe, Chris, too!
The one of the kids was upset because he specifically asked if I see a gaming chair he would like it. I totally forgot. And the gaming chairs went to the other kids 😳
Thank you and Rick for being the blessing you were today, I really needed to hear your prayers as I’m going through some health problems. Your videos always lift me up!
Hi Wanda, are you feeling better?
@@ScrapPalletMan I had heart tests yesterday. Still waiting to hear the results and hopefully they’ll figure out whi I’m so weak all the time. Thanks for asking.
Father in heaven I am praying for good test results that find any issue that gets corrected quickly. You are the great physician and we need you Lord. In the name of Jesus Amen
You’re cracking me up with that voice 🤣. What a haul. P.S. your videos are like therapy ty.
Oh my gosh, I would absolutely love to have those table legs, that is fantastic, wow. What a talking point that would make. Awesome. Wouldn't take much to lube up those gears. Gosh that thing is awesome.
A guy drove 100 miles to come buy these industrial tables for $600
You hit the nail right on the head! You must look at the total! Just like not every business has a successful day….but a successful month. If you don’t go out looking, you may never know what you missed. Keep up these great videos and may God Bless you and your family
Another great video, can't wait to see how the huge things turn out.
Also you scraped that keg fridge and that is the 1st time that you didn't cut the cord that I remember
you didnt cut the cord on that cooler(and you were pulling it by the cord to boot lol)
It's good to see Rick. It's been a while. He's looking really good. I agree...sell those because the industrial look is really hot right now and people will pay easily $500-1,000 for those...EACH!!
Always great to see you and Rick working together ❤ 👍
Hiii Jodi 😃
Hi Paul with friends
Enjoy your hard work attitude
That heavy chunk may
Be a score
Stay safe out there bro
Beautiful 20 seconds of tranquility! Always a treat to see you and Rick work together.
Honestly Paul, haven't been watching as much lately, but I am so glad to see that you finally got the tailgate up and running recently - I remember when you first mentioned that as a financial goal way back. You finally made it, and it's a charm. So nice to see that you were able to work up to something you needed and makes your work of saving our planet easier, as it should be. Fantastic work as always! :)
Thanks for being a long time viewer
Woohoo!! First hour gang and first 100 comments. My 6 month old daughter and I watch your videos and I love that I don't have to worry about exposing her to anything inappropriate when we watch you. So wholesome and pure. I know she is still just a baby, but I am very careful what I expose her to even at this age. I mentioned before that I also am a recovering addict and I am so proud of you for making that change and staying strong. Only 13% off alcoholics remain sober after 5 years and only 2% of addicts that used my particular drug are able to remain sober. We are walking miracles. I thank Jesus every day for saving me. Without Him I would still be a homeless addict.
I see it all the time, the evidence of Christ is a changed life
Lydia Dean, May God keep his loving hand on you and your sweet little daughter.
@@TNgrandee3 thank you so much. ✝️💜✝️
That is some good stuff Paul those tables cranks are worth lots of money Paul u could perhaps get about $800.00 bucks, Antique dealers would love to get their hands on does piece's.
Keep the scrapping going. If you don't you might miss the big stuff!!
Please keep us posted on what happens Paul! Thanks for taking us along with you! Peace to all.......💜💙💜💙💜💙💜💙💜
Hey Paul, love when you take a moment and just take a look of the beauty 😍 also love when you give thanks to God at the end of your videos 🙏
Hi Wendy. 🙂
I agree with Rick, it’s worth a hell of a lot more than you’ll get for scrap! Those are pieces of art!
Those are amazing rusty pieces of vintage iron and so pleased that you saved them. I'm sure you will profit more selling than scrapping!
Paul very nice truck load there. Always good to see a new video my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep recycling. Keep picking. Keep scraping. Keep making. God bless.
Hey Paul, good to see new video. I'm a new subscriber and I've been enjoying all your old videos. Thing is I've seen almost all of them so I've slowed down so I want run out of them. I love watching you scrap and I love that you always give all praise to God in every video. Thank you 😊
You seen almost all my old videos? That's like 500 plus videos :-)
Oh my, Paul!! You & Rick hit some RUSTY GOLD!! People are paying HUGE bucks for industrial pieces like that! I can't wait to see the outcome. I'm sort of a construction/ architecture geek LOL and when I see pieces like that my adrenaline starts pumping. Oh the possibilities! 😀 My cousin just got a restored factory cart, turned into a coffee table, for $750!!
It'll be interesting to find out the results of the iron you have. Garden art to tables are a good idea
Wow,a fantastic day in scrap land. Awesome video🙂👍👍👍 Thanks!
Would love to have those industrial pieces.
I just love how you are so good at this and soooo polite, just love your show✌️❤️💐💋🏆🖖🧲🇺🇲
Awww 💚❤️💚
The desk you looked at with the scrolled edges looks just like the one my mom uses for her sewing table right down to the hardware, the only difference is that someone refinished the one you looked at ( the one we have is older than I am and I'm 50)lol😆
Hi Michelle. Yeah it looked like ones that my parents had.
Hey Paul great video and keep up the great work. Always watch your everytime you posted videos. Good evening here on the Vancouver island of Canada. Take care Paul and God bless you and your family 🙏🙏🙏
Be careful. I used to work at an apartment complex and we had to take classes on pests and everything and bed bugs like to nest inside of wood so be careful with any wood pieces you pick up or cloth furniture obviously.
Nice sale. You’ll do well on that industrial architecture. You do hard work, well deserved.
The table is gorgeous, I hope it was saved!
Amen! Good morning Paul not sure when you’re leaving for your trip stay safe and have a wonderful time while you’re down there. That last piece you guys got that is vintage I hope you get some good money for it let us know how you made out. And if you enjoy scraping which I know you do continue yes you’re making a little money but you find things you can use or you donate it and that’s a good thing. Thank you for everything you do take care have a great day 😊
Hi Crystal thanks for the well wishes
I know this is an older post, but I like having Rick in your scrapping. He has has a lot of personality and he's a good worker.
Be careful of the tossed luggage as there could be a bedbug carrier. Just a thought.
I love how you, in this video both of you, pray in the videos. The videos I feel are educational for scraping. But also love hearing praise to God, we can never pray too much.
Amen
hello ...nice to see you again.....did the kids like the gaming chairs?
Oh yes
20:54 talking about nicest cars seen at the scrapyard, I once say a bright blue new mustang drive through the scales. I wonder if they got a nail or two in those wide tires. :)
Paul great video as always. Love them. Thank you so much
Evelyn from texas.
Hello Evelyn :-)
The best of luck with the industrial piece.
NOOOOOOOOO! Cliff Hanger!!!!! I'm with the sell it so someone can make neat tables again. I love it. I want it.
Lol...your reflection on the glass was in perfect alignment with Michael's head...😂😂..
I noticed that during editing LOL
Come on Paul, take the book shelves.
Wow what a find! I know people that would buy that unique iron table piece for 💰💰💰 Theres a man in my area that makes beautiful tables with vintage iron scrap!
Hi Paul glad to see you back out there. Hope you find some cool stuff I hope you are doing well, I'm hanging in here trying to anyway. Thanks for the video .👍👃
Hi Dale. Sorry I just saw this comment. Sometimes I get absent-minded. Especially this week
@@ScrapPalletMan hope your doing well and your family, thanks for your videos until next time from Georgia ❤️👃👍
Hi Paul sending prayers for you and your family
I agree with your point about the big picture. I noticed the amount of scrap I am finding in the last two months is becoming less. I don’t know if it’s because of the economy people just don’t have the disposable income to replace items they would normally discard. Or I just have too much competition in my area. Could be a combination of both. I am curious as to how many miles you travel with your usual route . Enjoy your positive attitude thank you
I believe all those factors are in play
You make me laugh, get in my truck, and when you talk funny. God bless 🙌
Hi Paul... Really??? I never in my wildest dreams could imagine to see you do a wheelie with a Trike. Well you did surprise me 🥁🎺🥳
someone into steampunk style stuff would love those gear tables
Yeah I'd try to sell it to a collector and see if its worth some bigger $$ it would be great if it works out that way for ya its some pretty cool stuff good luck im excited to see how it turns out
Keep going the stuff you recycle is in a better place & you’ll get your money back eventually
Hahaha your reflection is perfectly fitting on the guy's head working the weight/cashier area!
I saw that during editing. That was crazy
Some restaurant owners are very nice people. I served on Perry class frigates in the Navy. We had the MK92 system as well. A very good fire control system for its time.
Oliver Hazard Perry... That Mark 92 was a different mod. They had gas filled waveguide and a few other components. But the same servo system radar and 76 mm oto malera cannon
I personally thank God for people like yourself... metal needs to be recycled and if some kids can get a bike they would have never gotten otherwise and made your family a little money... Amen and God bless!!!!
Rewatching some of your past videos. Our grands like to watch you as well! Hope you’re well! We look for new videos daily and I know editing takes a lot of time. We appreciate you . Been thinking about you with the July 4th shooting near you…stay safe!
I had a great two weeks off. We'll be back making videos next week
Wow, hope you got big cash for those huge pieces of metal. Hope I find out soon. Thanks Paul...
I talk about it in the newest video
Oh my golly gosh!! Fantastic video! And two Brilliant Minds for loading the heavy heavy pieces!! I will be waiting for part 2.
Just so for $600
@@ScrapPalletMan that is great so happy for you!
Thanks for sharing your scrapping and prayers with us. God blessed all the we submit to him.
Use oban in your rinse water when you wash & 4 wool balls in dryer makes everything soft & no static
Thanks for the great video! Looking forward to see what you do with that metal art. 😎👍👍
Happy day!!!! Thanks for making my day awesome just like you!!!!!!❤️
Looking forward to how you get on with the sale of these pieces Paul.
*"Surgical dressing? Hmmm... I think I like Ranch better." Hahahahahahaha!*
I'm left to wonder, is there a special area in the Scottish restaurant where people can while away the two weeks before they have dinner? (Reminded me of a Seinfeld episode.)
(Excellent teaser at the beginning. I'll bet the algorithm loves the "watching 'til the end" analytics!)
You get it... 🙂👍
Great treasures loved the old architectural items
Amen thanks mr. Paul I really needed that blessing! Thanks for sharing the great adventure👍🏻😃
Looking forward to how the sale of the industrial table works out. Very cool
Yeah man Rick just sold them for $600 cash
@@ScrapPalletMan Sweet!
Amen! Many blessings and answers to your prayers.
Hi 👋 scrap & pallet man hope yu had a happy Fathers day awesome video God Bless
Your story about the resturant was mindblowing when you mentioned the name Colin Smith and the accent because on Bott Radio there is a pastor from was born in Scotland, raised partly in England and is a pastor. He is a very nice fellow on the radio
Paul….you forgot to cut the cord on that small fridge!
🤔
@@ScrapPalletMan just watching out for my most favourite scrap man! 😃👍🏻
