Paul your editing is so good that when you went up that alley toward that car I thot you were still in your truck. Didnt realize you weren't until you went up beside it, lol.
And I also wanted to tell you that be cause of you when I get up in the mornings first thing I do is say MORNING RALPH to my dog (his name is Tobe). ROFL!!!
Because of the economy,I hope everyone buys,,merch💕
All that brass all you need is a pipe wrench that was like two trucks off metal you lose a lot clean it and make the money 🤑💰
U r doing a good job every day. Hats off. May GOD bless you always 🙏. Oh could u tell me the name of the song and the young lady that I love to hear on some of your videos. I think it's about her life. Ty
Paul, you are a good person. I had different feelings when that man told you to get out of his dumpster. As long as you were not in his dumpster, you would think he would want the metal to be recycled. You handled it like the good man you are. But, I still think he should’ve said, sure I’ll put the metal aside. How much would that hurt him, nothing.😢
Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who would hurt themselves climbing into or around the sharp metal, nails and etc or even slip and fall while digging into the dumpster and then turn around and sue the construction outfit because they got hurt. If the guy leaves the stuff outside of the dumpster it is a risk to the general public (think kids or people just passing by). No-win situation for him.
Honestly, I was a little concerned at the risks Paul was taking when he climbed up on the side of his truck bed and leaned way into the dumpster like he did. Even Paul was concerned about what he did when he stopped and thought about it.
He was gripy...Paul wasn't doing anyharm. Think they may have came to an agreement...was none of that copper? It sure looked like it...from a plumbers daughter ...
liability
By law there is nothing he could do about you digging in the dumpster. Its in the trash and fair game for anyone.. at least by Kentucky law anyway..
Should have put it all back
I was told by a police officer that anything thrown in a dumpster was considered abandoned property as well. The dumpster may be on private property but once somethings inside it’s abandoned. Just wanted to throw that out there.
Love your vids man! Thanks for sharing! That dude seems like a miserable grump! You’re a good guy! Rock on 🤙
Every piece of scrap you picked today gave you a hard time. Bless your soul for staying on track.
Just about every scrapper's been asked to leave a dumpster, most of the time, it's just their job! Love your videos Paul, God Bless and keep you safe!👍
Been there done that. Still doesn't stop me though 😎
Hi Paul, first an update. The cancer is in remission and I am finally back home after 3 1/2 months. I agree with you about that man. With the way things are now where someone could sue you if you hurt them while they are breaking into your house. The liability that hangs over the company that owns that dumpster would be outrageous. I don't want you to get hurt. Sadly, had I been there, I would have been inside the dumpster passing those pipes to you. It's a good thing someone like him Steps up to keep us safe.
Great news hon
Glad your in remission! Praise the Lord! Thankful to hear good reports!
So glad to hear the cancer is in remission. Praise God
You handled that dumpster incident well and with understanding. I enjoy your scraping adventures and conversations with God,yourself and your viewers. Enjoy the weather while you have it. THANK YOU for your service(Veterans Day is upon you and others who served). Take care and stay healthy and keep up the positivity.👍🙂
Thank you for the kind veterans wishes. I appreciate it
Ugh so sorry that guy has no time for doing an ounce of effort to help the planet. Let's hope whatever team leader he is to make those decisions that he doesn't do many projects. Let the scrap be scrapped...figure out a safe way and let it happen. Just cause he is lazy and worried about liability and clueless on dumpster laws doesn't mean everyone should not recycle and spend energy doing so. Good for Paul and his neutral approach just boo to that dumpster custodian, filling the landfill one pile of recyclables at a time.
Thanks for the guitar playing and the sunset with the bird! I'm glad you didn't get hurt in the dumpster! Please take care of your shoulder....it took me over a year to heal from my rotator cuff surgery! Take care Paul, we Love you!
So glad to hear you healed
I'm glad most people don't mind and even appreciate your scrapping efforts. Thank you for explaining the difference between curb scrap and dumpster scrap. Do you think we can cancel winter?
You can keep all that cold air and snow out of my neck of rhe woods.
Today's weather feels like winter has been canceled 💚
@@ScrapPalletMan 75 in Ohio last week but today its 30 and snowed an inch. My neighbor reads we are in for a snowy winter after that warmth through November... I buy that just hope all are safe.
Pretty good scrap day. Glad the guy was not to mad at you for going in the dumpster. Stay safe have a great weekend 🙏🏻🇨🇦😃
I really love who you are, Paul. You are the guy who sees that man looking out for you, while all the rest of us saw a man worried about a lawsuit. Keep being you. That's a great blue heron, btw.
I’m glad you hand is good enough to be able to play again 😊
Really nice to hear u play a bit Paul. Good to see your making a go of it still keep it up love your videos when I can get the time to watch them.
God will triple what was in that dumpster for you Paul. No need to explain. We love ya. Stay safe! Keep the prayers abd scrapping coming!
Enjoyed today's episode. Love dump trailer. God bless you. Scrapper Mark in Virginia
Love to watch musical instruments being played.😎👊🏻🙏
Great video man! You handled that dumpster kickout well.
When I was working ...I always appreciated a cheater bar....I'm short and wimpy....lol
That dudes dumper trailer is way too cool....👍
Loved the bass jamb!‼️‼️
You are not allowed to go in dumpster or climb on his property but you was on your truck leaning over so all you could do was say sorry and move away 👍👍
OMG I'VE NEVER SEEN THAT HAPPEN TO YOU BEFORE. IF HE'S THROWING THE STUFF AWAY WHAT IS THE PROBLEM ⁉️🤔🤷🏽.
Some people are born dick heads and out right selfish through and through.
I'm not sure if it ever has happened. If it has I don't remember
Hi again. You got out as asked, but by looks of dumpster was all going to garbage. How sad. You at least didn’t fall in
Wow, that's the first time in the 4+ years I have watched you Paul that I have actually seen someone stop you from recycling. Such a shame people can't be more supportive of conserving our resources. Just by looking at his truck he was a contractor wanting to save his rear end of a lawsuit if you would have fallen. Don't feel bad, there will be many more to come ✊
That is so true never give up never slow down and don't regret anything leave the judging to the best Lord ever and your problems become solutions and we all love salutations
The easiest way to avoid a lawsuit is for them to put a no trespass sign that way they can always file criminal charges if you try to sue them nullifying any damages since you would have to admit you received them while committing a crime
@@roadhog1987 Amen to that brother, always love and live life to the fullest.
@@Pinhead_larry265 definitely
@@mickbierbaum1302 right if it's not posted then that's all they can do and if it was me I wouldn't have been able to put what I would have said
At least the dumpster guy let you keep what you already pulled out,
I'm just glad you were able to get as much metal as you did out of the dumpster because I feel the same way about saving it from going in your landfill! Kudos to you Paul. 🙌
That wasn't nice of him to say to you I won't say what I would have called him but great video
First one to like your video and hilarious that you got busted & requested to leave…ummm 🤔 you’re throwing it away? 😂
LoL have a blessed day Paul.
Scrap Pallet Man I'm glad you didn't get hurt. Paul God bless your channel.
Saludos paul desde Puerto Ricoooooo bendiciones,el gran corazón que usted tiene no se puede comparar con un canasto de metales y no se pueden medir a la bendición que Dios le seguirá dando adelante que la bendición grande vieneeee
Maybe that contractor has had bad experiences with a scraper (making a mess etc) or seen someone get hurt on his job. You handled it well Mr.Paul.😎
Very talented, Paul. Thank you for sharing. 🎸🎸🎸
Happy Veterans Day, Paul! Thank you for your service! 🌊🇺🇸
You are awesome Nancy. Thank you
I'm glad you differentiated picking up residential disposed waste (totally up for grabs) vs dumpster disposed waste (not!). Obvious to most, material placed in a commercial dumpster is the property of the dumpster owner. They probably have a team of "Pauls" to sort out the valuable materials before sending it to a landfill.
I have mixed feelings about the guy telling you to get out of the dumpster because it is legal in some places...it's just a very large trash can. If it isn't on private property, it's fair game unless posted otherwise. You handled it like a champ, though. Thanks for sharing the sights of DeKalb.
Great video and u handled it way better then me so I will work on my self so I can handle it like that when it's my time ty for showing everything that happens it helps ppl more then u know God bless u
Paul, when you were reaching for the pipes in the dumpster, I was thinking of Indiana Jones trying to get the Holy Grail. I was glad the man asked you to stop.
Run :-)
Reclaimation is being responsible.
Thanx4Ur reclaimation efforts. 👍👍2 thumbs up .
So proud of you Paul that you didnt quit on that dumpster dive buddy! Good on ya man! God gave you some extra energy for this one
I can only imagine how much scrap ironpipe was still inside that dumpster when that guy told you to stop picking and now it's going to the landfill. It's too bad that they didn't get a scrap metal dumpster to sort their construction debris with. But apparently he didn't want to be bothered with going that extra mile even though it would save them on extra dumping fees. Either way I still enjoyed the video. Way to go on the bass guitar, by the way.
AWESOME BASE PLAYING PAUL.
AND IT'S NOT AGAINST THE LAW TO, DUMPSTER DIVE.
That big bird at the end, I am pretty sure was a Great Blue Heron. They are usually pretty wary of getting that close to people though.
I think you are right. It was a heron
Looked to me that some of those pipes in that dumpster were wrapped in asbestos, but I could be wrong. Totally illegal to send to a landfill. Great job Paul, at least he wasn’t nasty with his request.
They were, Sue!
Really! Were do u go with them? No nothing about asbestos. Thanks
@@donvoll2580 In my state you can’t even remove it yourself, you have to hire an asbestos abatement company. They have to enclose the area with plastic to keep the dust from getting in the air. It’s considered hazardous waste. Not sure where they take it but it can’t go into the landfill.
@@SassySue67 Hi Yea told my wife about & she went into it about being so dangerous. Than ks
Also appeared copper piping with the faucets, as well as the brass. As Paul says it will still go in the shredder.
I bet you are an awesome guitar player. And you are awesome as well my good sir.
That supervisor came at the perfect time,,, You were finished getting all of the easy stuff anyway,, :-) So,, are you going to separate the steel from all the brass? you need a pipe vise and a 3 foot pipe wrench,,
I agree with you. I was nervous for you when you were hanging on the edge of the dumpster. As we age we break easier and heal slower - take care of yourself. It is a shame he wouldn't separate it so it could be recycled but at least you got some of it.
I definitely heal slower these days. Frustrating
Hi Paul hope you're doing well be safe out there hope you find a lot of cool stuff until next time from Georgia 👃👍❤️
Great video. I think that guy at the dumpster could have been a little nicer but sometimes we have to take it how it is dished out because we sort of knew we were wrong to be in that predicament in the first place. Been there and done that. You handled it well and got on with life. all while learning a lesson and not being bitter. Thanks for the bike ride around town. That is a really neat place.
At least he let you keep the stuff you already grabbed
You crack me UP 2:46
Hey Paul, last week I was cruising around dumpster diving and came across a site of an old Kmart and they were tearing down the chain link fence around the garden center and they gave it to me. On my 10' utility trailer behind my 96 S10 truck I had 2780 lbs of scrap !
Nice 🙂👍
Thanks Paul. Yet another Amazing Video. I can understand people when it comes to the safety aspects of dumpster diving, but I cannot understand the reasoning for not putting the metal aside for someone like you to recover,or in fact doing the recycling themselves.
Today your fear of someone disaproving of you recycling their metal has happened, you handled it like the professional you are. Forge on my warrior of scrap.
In California they are strict about construction trash and recycling. My husband works commercial construction and he says you have to commit to disposing of drywall, metal, etc… responsibly. It is a little bit of a cost and can be a pain BUT it is the right thing to do. Of coarse some crews will ignore and just send to landfill.
This middle age girl would be doing what your doing with hesitation as well.
People complain about strict recycling/disposal laws in CA. But it is the right thing to do. Shoot if it was me….I would have said what can I do to help you get all the metal. More room in dumpster, less expense getting another dumpster. But I feel ya….I am basically uncomfortable, determined but uncomfortable with such an encounter.
Bumped into an old friend from school, he was doing demolition work and saving the wire and copper plumbing. Started his own business and combined demo work with recycling and had everything from bricks to wooden beams, door handles to stained glass window's. Doing what he loved and enjoying life. What more could you wish for? 🙂 Be happy everyone.
NOOOOOOOOO. you cut the bass solo short PAUL!!!! Sounded killer dude🤘🤘🤘🤘
I just wish people would leave it all at the kerbside and put free on. I hate people like him..All going to landfill when it could all be recycled. Sad. 🇬🇧🏴
I would definitely keep the pipes you found😊 and you did handle the situation just fine.😊
Good morning my friend. Nice haul. You handled that guy well. He was only worried about you getting hurt. Which is a good thing. Thanks for sharing. Take care hugs to all.🥰
I feel so mad and hurt when the mean guy chased you away 😢😢😢
It was for the better
Turns out he's also a scrapper and just scared you out of his loot.
Lol You might be right
I set metal aside for the scrap guy, so I don’t have to pay so much for the dumpster. 🤷🏻♂️
Enjoy the nice weather when you can. 😃
I'm a full time scrapper and i don't dumpster divine for the same reason. And only pick up what i see on the curb, i don't even look inside people dumpster for the same reason. But on the other hand i try to do more on call pick ups.
I think a scrap pickups is the most efficient way to scrap. It's all about the contacts. Personally I enjoy curbside the best though
@@ScrapPalletMan Don't get me wrong, it is fun and i also enjoy it. Because you find more then just scrap. But hey everyone does it their own way and what's best for them. So keep it up Paul.💪🏻♻️
Guitar music is awesome 😎
Make your money and don't worry about others think about you
Def ride the bike…I’m hoping to get one of those electric trikes for Christmas 😅
You still got quite a bit before he showed up then you're right it was becoming very precarious!!!
Good Afternoon My Good Big Bro Paul The Scraper & Pallet Man Sir
What a great attitude you have, Paul! Most people might be quick to anger, but you had the right perspective in considering the “other side.” Loved the ride through the neighborhood and stop at the guitar shop! To me, it almost sounded like the beginning riff for “Rooster” by Alice In Chains. Yesterday, you talked about your “happy place” and watching you play, you can tell you were in one of your happiest! 😁😁😁
In the city of Charlotte North Carolina if it's in a dumpster it's considered public property so the police say it's free for all ..
Go back later ! You know what he drives!
No, Paul handled it best...it was his dumpster, his trash....it was ashame he'd rather it go to landfill..
Loosely Goosy. Lol God bless
Would love to see more Paul playing bass videos
Nice payday. Great video
One fire pit and one barbeque grill 🤣😂
thanks for sharing your scrap picking as well as the bike ride and guitar shop visit.. great stuff
Pou você mora em qual país e em qual cidade eu admiro o teu trabalho sou apaixonada em reciclagem gostaria de morar num país que é reciclagem fosse igual aí parabéns pelo seu trabalho
Atleast u got what u got. Oh wellz
Not many people realize that curbside picking is legal, but there are even more people do not realize that the legality does not apply to dumpsters because the Supreme Court's decision hinges on the phrase "reasonable expectation of privacy." Such reasonable expectation does not apply to curbside trash, making it a free-for-all. However, reasonable expectation of privacy does exist with dumpsters. And as you said, there are also safety concerns with dumpster diving. And that's probably why some places can get away with having ordinances or laws in place in regard to trash picking because they view it as less a privacy issue and more of a public safety issue.
I hear what you're saying, though the privacy issue isn't the issue. In both cases it's reasonable to assume it's abandoned
Was just starting to comment that the tipping trailer is the same one as Tucker and Sammie J have, then Paul says it 😅
Tucker, Sammy J and Finley
"Do not gleen your fields but allow others to gather from therin" (paraphrased)
What a great video! Great day of scrap and then the bike ride/ guitar store…wow. Only thing missing is dear Olivia! 🐕
I too believe your "guardian angel" was that man asking you to get out of his dumpster. I was grimacing, b4 he came along, worried you were gonna fall in. It felt like an "accident waiting to happen". Bless you! That dump trailer was definitely cool! Great bike ride & guitar picking...you are a man of many talents...
Paul, I agree with you, that man asking you to not poke around in his dumpster was probably a God send!
I can see both sides of the pages with this one. Your doing the world a favour and he's saving his ass. I don't believe he doesn't have time to put the metal separately, dropping it next to the dumbster would be a few seconds less than actually lifting it up and over the side. Anyway, keep doing what you do, Paul, your a legend in my mind. Love to Renae and Olivia. That guitar sounds so good.
Thank again Paul for sharing another day in your amazing life journey ❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽👏👏
Great find Paul, very interesting encounter with the gentleman. Nice video ❤️🙏🏽👏
Been sick recently and had these loud music nightmares. I played your videos all the time and they helped me to sleep. Your voice and calmness in your videos, unlike other scrap channels where they bang stuff around and shout, does make it watchable with real pleasure. Thank you sir. SUB from me :]
I like being mellow but sometimes I'm a bit excitable :-)
@@ScrapPalletMan So far nothing seems too harsh :]
I was really getting nervous, with you climbing on the dumpster. Don't need anymore injuries Paul. Please be careful!!!
I guess he told you, Paul. He wasn't even going to leave it on the side of the Dumpster. But he has time to throw it in. Uhm yeah. You did the right thing and left.
I understand that fella's concern with you in the dumpster. The way it is now, someone could be in the dumpster, get hurt and sue him or his company. Its a shame, but at least he let you keep what you already had in the truck.
Thanks for the Bass solo.. I hope you are having an excellent evening Paul. May Jesus continue to bless and Keep you my brother....
Paul desejo a vc que todos seus dias sejam abençoados,um grande abraço desse Brasileiro que se tornou um grande fã.
Obrigado
Mr Paul you are very right, that's considered abandoned and what you are doing is not simple, you worked hard for it, good luck sir Paul.
Brother I love the videos. For some odd reason they are Very relaxing. God bless, to God be the glory.
Hey Paul
It would have been great to have Rick on this dumpster dive
Thats totally messed up, they have to pay by the pound on them dumpsters and they would rather send it to landfill instead of letting someone recycle ♻️
Whatever is in a dumpster gets processed meaning any metal and steel gets sorted and recycled
@@danh2134 yes I know that but the one's that rent the dumpsters has to pay by the lbs
@@moondog4313 that dumpster gets processed like any other one. Metal , paper , plastic and glass gets separated as much as possible . if the magnet doesn't pick it up , then it's trash .
Hey Paul! I was quite surprised when you left your bike outside of the guitar store. I know you probably locked it up but if anybody did that in the town I live in it would be stolen regardless in a matter of minutes.
I wasn't too worried about it. But yeah someone could have thrown it into the back of their truck and taken it
@@ScrapPalletMan I think it's wonderful that those kind of things don't cross your mind. I think your little part of the world is beautiful
Paul Paul Paul!!! Thanks for taking us along !!! I appreciate you!!!! Stay safe stay great !! Keep up the good work!!!
Most people who own dumpster do scrap the metal. Their are better ways to speak to people
I felt so bad for Tucker when tore the gate/door off of his dump trailer. I so happy the guy let you keep all of the pipe that you pulled out of the dumpster. Have a great and blessed day Paul.
