YES.. agreed, but this , whilst calming in a stoned harry potter way, it's a soggy review from a man who knows his shit, but at the crux of it realising his influence.
@@Mystic.ape. Actually man, I'm a fairly creative guy. I'm a nurse. I'm working on a comedy screenplay right now. About to start selling some shirts on Amazon. Life is good. I'm thankful. What colors for your Portofino?

Y’all!!! This video and this whole channel are truly just wonderful. Thank you for delivering these escapes from real life and filling our minds with the dream of owning a Ferrari!
It looks so much better than the Roma, that I saw in videos and pictures. I saw a Portofino on the road, stunning. In fact it’s one of the best looking cars, period. The Roma has some Aston Martin vibe to it.
Another lovely review to watch on saturday. Thank you to all at Carfection for beautifull content that you are bringing to us. I hope you will make a review of the Corvette C8 in the future. I would love to hear what you think of it.
Nice review! I was driving on the motorway in heavy traffic today alongside one of these and an F8 (I’m sure they weren’t envious of my sexy Nissan) and seeing the two side by side in the same shade of red the Portofino looked a little, dare I say it, plain, especially from behind! Wish there had been a sudden opening for them to roar away so I could hear the engine!
I like the look of this car - if H&H (Harry & Henry) both agree it's pleasantly surprising and more than just another boulevard cruiser, that bodes well...
Thanks for watching you say, well thank you Henry and team ! Always a pleasure to watch ! If you in a normal ? future find yourself in south of Sweden I will make you an Affogato, and you just might get to drive my E24.
A good move from Ferrari in softening the car’s drivability, as most buyers probably aren’t driving enthusiasts looking for controllable slip angles...
I am happy for Ferrari to return to a style focused future. I hope they actually start to push the envelope of Ferrari style - beautiful modern and sexy. The Roma is almost there … but I think there is more that can be explored through design .. maybe even something to rival the GTO. One can dream, one can hope.
Yet again, another simply perfect cinematic review by the most credible motorista ever ! Now, after that spectacular review … can I ask … what watch are you wearing??
I love this video, awsome locations, from the door painted the cars colour to the Maestro's appearing on cue! This car may just be my favorite current Ferrari on sale now. As good as the Roma is, I suspect its touch controls will do my head in. I wonder if all tall southpaw youtubers like coffee?
Although the newer V8s in these types of Ferraris sound good, I love the screaming V8 in the 458. I wish there was a way to get the engine to sound like that even with the turbos. They just dull the sound too much for my liking in this application. Then again it's a GT car lol.
brilliant cinematography, paced, informative commentary, and deployed adjectives such as "mellifluous": modern motoring journalism doesn't get better than this. I quite like the Portofino M. The design is like a junior 812. The only thing not to like is the price (I was waiting for the bottom line figure with all the options, but it never came, alas)
Its all very well showing these Ferraris that nobody can afford, but where are the follow up vids on the T-Roc R that was unveiled as a long termer on xmas day last year?
I noticed the paddle shifters are not attached to the wheel. Rather awkward to shift while turning. Seems Ferrari would know better. Beautiful car. Love the color. I think I'd go for the Roma though.
It’s fine actually, the paddles are quite long and you can still use them when turning and there’s no mixing up which is which. Also, the steering is highly geared so you don’t turn the wheel as much as you might expect.
I don't know if it's me but, there does seem like there's a lot of road nose in the Portofino. And I'm surprised at how poor the engine note is too, certainly not a Ferrari sound.
@@HenryCatchpole I will take your word on the subject as I definitely trust your opinion on cars more than most. Although the person who implied this to me would have no reason to lie about it.
@@DinosaurJuiceCars I think in days gone by this might have been the case. There was a story by Peter Robinson recently about being banned from driving Ferraris... twice! As a journalist I shouldn't and won't avoid being critical, and my experience is that as long as you're honest and aren't deliberately looking for fault (not letting subjectivity rule objectivity) then the manufacturers will take criticism on the chin. If you look at the Roma review, although I liked it, I certainly wasn't full of enthusiasm for everything about it. Anyway, I hope that answers the question. And thank you for watching.

We packed a lot into just one day and Glenn did a fabulous job.
It's all the Ferrari you'll ever need. Stunning car.

I actually really like the look of the Portofino, I think its proportions (with the roof up) are better than the Roma.
