Really wonderful explanation about raw banana or valakai as we call in tamil. Usually people feels that very gas provoking dish & avoid eating it. So much benifits in that veggie. Thanks for sharing that tasty recipe. 😋
I made the receipe exactly as you have clearly explained. The taste was awesome, but it became slightly sticky.I wonder why
After cutting banana put it away for sometime to dry!
Wow! Tommorow for lunch. Never knew you can make raw banana for thoran😋
Can we prepare with Plantains Like Nendrapalam?
hi.I am a nutritionist,Resistant starch is present and absorbed by the body when it is taken in raw form...
Thank you Nisa. You receipies are superb. I love them. What is wood pressed coconut oil called in Malayalam?
Chakkil aattiya enna.i think so
Ma'am I like your way of speech and pronounciation....... Love u ma'am
🌸

This is a very tasty dish.
Hi mam I am from Kerala... Dal recipe post cheyyumo? Ellatharam parippukalum kuresse cherkkunnath....
Thankyou
Tasty and healthy recipe.
Was waiting for this receipe
Sir can be eaten suffering with low blood pressure
A small doubt dear..isn't the rinsing the chopped plantain looses it's nutrition?
This is how it is done. Otherwise, the raw banana becomes blackish.
Same question
@@menagamaniyan8808 usually we steam the raw banana and then chop the desired shape and rest follow the same procedure how it's shown in the video..
@@balaprashanthi7878 we steam for a few dishes and do it this way for a few
Very different 🙏🥰👌🎉. I hope I can make it the same with locally available raw'est' banana I can find
Very nice
Delicious .............very nice
Wow that's what I like
Does this dish lead to weight gain?
Because it has coconut powder in it.
What are other foods with resistant starch.?
Plantain sabji awesome madam 👌👌👌
Thanku for good recipes madam
*We use only the skin for the sabzi* - salt , pepper and haldi. done in sesame oil/ghee/peanut/mustard/coconut . And throw away the banana.
Hi mam😍we make such dishes in Odisha too😊ma'm plz make videos on stevia.
Lots of love from allappey..
If we put the chopped banana in put, will it not washed off it's vit C?

Hello Nisa ma'am! Hope you're well. I've been subscribed to you for a long time now and will continue to be. I have some quick feedback regarding the name of your channel. Since we're slowly identifying and acknowledging eating disorders, and normalising different body types, could you look at changing the name of your channel? I know your recipes do not promote any unhealthy eating methods, but I realized that this name might not be the best when I recommended one of your videos to my friends and she told me politely that she will not be able to watch it because the name of the channel brings back bad memories for her, specifically the word "skinny" being used as a synonym for acceptable body type.
I love the way you have shared your opinion without being disrespectful yet highlighting something which is important. Very thoughtful
@@ramyaathimuthu7630 thank you, Ramya 🌈
