We have Three Freightliner Dump Trucks, Two Have Cat Motors and Manual Transmissions, One has a Mercedes Motor with an Automatic. I love that one because it has Air Bag Suspension which is so Smooth. We Bought that Truck from a Mennonite Truck Builder South East Of Finley, Ohio. Very nice Dump Truck but It needed a Rock Box like Our Other Dump Trucks have. But when it gets beat up Too Bad then a Rock Box will be Installed.
Good to see ya tim. Im retired now. My truck is being turned into a HDT RV HAULER. I bought a DRV Moblie Suites 42ft . With the price of f450 and ram 4500 i just decided to convert my Kenworth. Hope to see ya one day. Are you still camping.
SRT? Southern Refrigerated Transport only had two truck keys when I was there, one for the Kenworths and one for the Freightliners. If you had a Freightliner key it would fit every Freightliner truck they had. There was a jar on the front counter in the parts department full of identical spare keys. Something to think about if you've bought one of their trucks. Maybe Covenant changed the practice.
