That is a great thought. Running two different residency clocks concurrent would be an effective strategy.
Here is a question... Let's take Argentina as an example... You've just hit the magic 2 year mark and submitted your citizenship application. Do you undermine that application if you cease your Argentine residency soon after? I know you've fulfilled all of the technical requirements, but given the ~1 year lag between applying for citizenship, and it being granted, is there a chance of shooting yourself in the foot during this third year?

I'd love to hear more about how Paraguay citizenship would fit into a passport portfolio, you said here there can be issues with dual? I want to get residency there, but maybe it's better to keep it as just a residence permit?

  • @CryptoNerd91

Would stay away from the Armenia and Georgia one. Not sure if they actually honor the residency pathway to citizenship. Even Paraguay might go away soon enough or might get costlier in the near future

Brazilian and south African citizenships are absolutely perfect. Most two Westernized countries in global south and top two economically rising countries in southern Hampshire with huge future potentials
Don't mind that two communist regimes soon they will be out of power

@@GoodlifeInvestor but when came into the south Africa huge change of immigration system can expect if multiparty charter got elected at this May. Those changes are extremely positive for investors already DA and Action SA leaders proposed fast track permeant residency programs with fast nationality for foreign investors. Already ANC reelection chance very very low but you are correct under the current ANC even normal study visa application can take more than 3 months to process. Home affairs not functioning even as Zuma era level. Lot of officials are corrupt also IT systems all out of date and sometimes those IT systems even can't keep simple entry and exit records.
Brazil now becoming more hostile nation for investors under the Lula also he putting more power on unelected officials hand therefore can expect lazy and corrupt immigration procedures during Lula's remaining period in office.

@@GoodlifeInvestor st Lucia, greneda, Antigua, Dominica and st Kitts still better options if you want to quick citizenship also if you are from damn country in south asia or Africa than vanatu one even better why I say vanatu because some times cheaper but powerful options like Antigua can be discourage for offer nationality if your current nationality belong to certain south asian nationalities. even vanatu passport lot of doors open for you which always close for you if they saw you with any south asian nationality or some African nationality.
At the moment I am in Dubai at here if you belong to certain south asian nationalities (Sri Lanka as I know also Pakistan as I heard) impossible to get even decent job even with PhD and 10 years work experiences also get Schengen visa extremely hard or near to impossible for Sri Lanka Schengen and entire western visa rejection rate more than 80% at the moment. I know several Sri Lankan business peoples in UAE they have st Kitts nationality they obtained before price increase most of them also now don't have Sri Lankan nationality only st Kitts according their experiences that deal actually works for them no travel visa barriers for Europe and many part of asia like south Korea easy visa process for japan, can open non resident bank accounts very easily in many countries, when came into the business matters acceptability very high and in many countries from border control to general society they got similar treatment same as lot of western passport holders but that things they never ever can expect with Sri Lankan passport that things are only dream with Sri Lankan passport.
