The "low" quality pixels are compression artefacts from trying to size down the file. They get worse the more the video changes from one frame to another

I felt the pain of losing the world so you can't get achievements. Amazing video and a smooth comeback from that annoying moment. Maybe a 'Are you sure?' pop-up for that particular option?
Happy they add that so it give a achievement a meaning no cheaters allow sadly I know it by accident turn on creative mode

Rovers? All I needed for planetary travel in those days was a chair. Pick it up at the same time you enter it and you could travel the entire planet in a single oxygen tank.

Fun fact, RTGs are on the mars rover perseverance and also onboard Apollo 13. When the crew was forced back to earth, the rtg had to be ejected (it would have dispersed the plutonium into the air otherwise) and is probably at the bottom of a marine trench somewhere. It’s probably still warm even now!

What’s with the sudden trend of people coming out of nowhere and posting super long bangers on beloved games as their first video with an avatar that is some kind of funny character/animal head on a normal human body with a suit? 😂 you’re like the third I’ve seen in the last month. But achievements. Is there an achievement for activating all shrines on every planet? Or am I mistaken.

While the core unlocks, and is able to be activated with one gate powered.
I have seen a few videos where they go back and power all gates on all planets to get a completion achievement. I just don't know if that achievement is still there or if the dev team removed it.
Yes, there is an acheivement for unlocking all gateway chambers
You do in fact have to activate every gateway on every planet for 100% the game, but you only need to activate one for the core to be functional

this is a long long video. definitely saving this to watch for later. it looks like this is a whole new small channel. this is a really cool idea for a video series. i am a huge astroneer fan. like, i dont play much now. but i still like it and ive played more than 670 hours of it. its such an honor to have astroneer be the first game in this series. it is such an underrated game. awesome.

Very nice video. Im a long time player of astroneer, but ive never completed it. Dont know why. But after this, definitely going back and going to figure out automation, auto farming, and auto bite farming as they were the most annoying of the necesseities to quick progression. Drilling with the truck was always annoying as i knew how it functioned, but never got the paver. The last time i stopped playing was after the rail quests and hated doing it. Thanks for taking the time to make this video, always glad when someone takes the time to actually show how great a game is in its entirety.

Really cool and really nice for a first video! The concept / idea was solid. You have a pleasant voice to hear talking over the gameplay.
However it sometimes felt like you were a bit all over the place in your explaining and storytelling and the video looks like it was recorded / encoded at a very low bitrate. Other than that, keep it up! I would love to see more videos from you!

Correction: the planets have oxygen. You, however, cannot breathe it directly. This is why consumable oxygen filters can refill your air. They are not creating oxygen, they are simply making the extant oxygen breathable.
Respect for keeping the first game instead of pretending you play it first time on the second runs ❤

Really chill video, loved having it in the background while revising, only thing is that (and I have no idea if it was for a bit or not so my bad if so) I don’t think a single planet name was pronounced right the entire time, coming to a head when VTOL was called ‘VLT’?
It was half a bit because of how mad it made 7int and half me just pronouncing everything wrong while playing the game and sticking to it once I wrote the script. I'm going to be honest though I completaly missed calling the VTOL VLT XD.
