    I believe the voice control is great and works much better than my MB MBUX

      It's great when it understands you. There is a lot of limitations, but it's a good start. I hope that it will have new learnings as it goes. As we use it more, it should improve and hoping the guys at Toyota Connect will be able to analysis the data will be able to bring new features or functions.

      Yeah. They always give your attitude. Especially when you want it to work

    Glad you like the voice assistant. It can do way more than this though. I work for Toyota Connected and helped develop it.

      That's why it's part 1. Unfortunately, the commands are still not very stable and limited. I can't open the window with the commands...

    • @alyssapipe6840
      @alyssapipe6840 2 года назад +1

      @@lsft there are 2 parts to the VA - embedded and cloud. The commands you showed here all mostly embedded - running on the head unit. Cloud commands are much more sophisticated but are constrained to other domains. Embedded commands only cover what the hardware can support like temperature, fan, and windshield wipers, etc.

    • @alyssapipe6840
      @alyssapipe6840 2 года назад

      @@lsft also the commands don't require a pause for the prompt. You can say "hey Lexus I'm cold" with no pause. Also if you say the same from the passenger seat it will only adjust the temperature on that side. The car can tell which occupant is speaking.

      @@alyssapipe6840 I'm aware. You should watch my voice settings video. I've explained not needing to pause. But I've encountered a bug too. How often are we expecting updates on this system?

      @@alyssapipe6840 yup i see the microphone on the ceiling. I'm a developer at heart. So I'm very technical and understand how this all works.

      What details you want to know about public charging?

    • @karthikeyank1342
      @karthikeyank1342 2 года назад

      @@lsft mainly the charging speed around Toronto/GTA and is it worth to get 450h+ without charging facility in home. I live in an apartment but have access to charging stations close by. This would help me to decide 350h or 450h+

    • @lsft
      @lsft  2 года назад +1

      @@karthikeyank1342 Recommendation is to go with 350h if you don't have charging at home. Charging 2.5 hrs at a station to get 64km is not worth the time. Unless you have charging at the gym or the grocery store and you'll spend that much time there.

    Is it still possible to personalize startup screen on 2023 Lexus RX500f

      I don't believe there is such an option on the new Lexus interface. I know in the old Enform that was possible.

      I have not seen any mention of that anywhere in the new Gen Interfaces however was hoping that someone might have figured out a way.

    i love my Lexus nx hybrid but phone controls and radio stations are a disgrace compare with my BMW and Porsche 911.
    the heads up display is nice but why does not have option to change radio stations and phone contacts my BMW does it.
    I'm very disappointed.
    i hope the tech center gets new designers.

      You can customize the buttons on the steering wheel to be able to change source and change radio stations via the favorites.

    Lexus has become very bad. It’s hard to figure out how to switch between apply play and navigation system. And you cannot set up favorites such home or work address in navigation system. Lexus should outsource some work to german suppliers. Japanese supplier are simply bad

      The Lexus Interface is built by Toyota Connected in the United States. Within the app you can provide your feedback and hopefully they will make changes as they update the system.
