    If you added one of the worst fielding starting pitcher and relievers, with this team, could you calculate how many games they could win in a season? As you said, this is a pretty good hitting team, but could they out-hit their bad defence?

      This is an awesome idea.

      My guess is they would win 85-90 games purely from hitting the long ball and such, but would lose alot of close games due to the poor fielding

    It makes sense that this team is so good at hitting. Hitting well is the main reason teams put up with bad fielding.

    Great video and I agree with the picks, but it’s the starting 8 as it stands lol. Maybe you could have added a pitcher.

      Touché lol. I couldn’t find many glaringly obvious bad fielding pitchers. They never have a large enough sample size of fielding balls really imo. Thanks for watching🫡

    Just earned yourself another sub stud.
    Edit: wait, so Foolish Baseball lied to me? To my face? About the Yankees’ CF dynasty (Elmer Miller and Whittey Witt)

    As a rangers fan seeing adolis’ fall off on his fielding and hitting was so demoralizing a year after a career year. Bounce back season coming 2025 💯

    For CJ Abrams specifically, I think it is 100% his attitude, from the rumors I heard he was pretty toxic in the clubhouse, would often not show up or be very late for practice, and would spend many nights in the casino. This led him to be sent down to AAA right at the end of the season despite him being one of the best players on the team.
    He just seems really immature right now and has a bit of a holier than thou attitude

    aaron judge is not diving to keep him in games and avoid injuries as you stated. man adolis garcia sure did fall quickly.

    For FIFTY YEARS, fielding has meant very little. With Judge and Torres on this list with other Yankees being on the cusp of bad fielding YET they made the World Series. In the Yawn Era of K,BB or HR, fielding means very little

    Judge being on here is completely unfair. He simply isn't a true CF and grades well as a corner outfielder which is where he should be. He also very clearly is told not to dive to preserve his MLB best bet. Also has a good arm. Comparing Judge to a guy like Brandon Doyle is just ridiculous and unfair. The average CF has insane sprint speed and judge doesn't. That alone is going to make him appear "so much worse" than any other CF. Should have excluded him and looked at the worst "true" starting CF.

      judge played centerfield all year i think we can call him a centerfielder tbh

    • @MrCrs9225
      @MrCrs9225 День назад +1

      Lol what a terrible argument… he played CF all year, he was a CF, and should be judged as a CF

    • @TheImapotato

      Blame the manager...why they let Verdugo take up space in LF instead of moving Soto to LF and letting Grisham be a GGer in CF with Judge in RF is stupid as hell. Grisham even out SLG Verdugo

    • @finsforthewin18
      @finsforthewin18 20 часов назад

      @TheImapotato wasn't Verdugo a Gold Glove finalist? Id say move Verdugo to CF, Soto to LF, and Judge to RF

    • @TheIroncatfish
      @TheIroncatfish 16 часов назад +1

      @@finsforthewin18playing left field in yankee stadium is seen as just as difficult as center because there is so much room out there. Right field was the correct spot for soto, and left field wouldn't be much better for judge
