Dj Mines, thanks for the shoutout awesome content as always #DryWall, man bitmain is getting worst every yeah, even the HS3 should not be at that price with the halving around the corner, we really need intel or some other major player in this market because if bitmain keep heading in this money hungry direction only big players will be earning anything! I am going to ping my Bitmain rep see if he can do anything for me, because I need to upgrade.
Bro, they're never going to drop the wattage. It's always roughly the same due to the fact that they fit as many hash boards as is necessary to hit the ~3 kW number for the big players to slot into existing setups.

Great Video! I agree with you on the price, these new miners can quickly saturate the hash rate and kill profitability on this mining - It would be better to buy the coin imo
#drywall sucks, just framed/finished my basement by myself. Bitmain is going to continue to frack everything they can during the bear market, especially now that people are thinking things are on the way back up. The key part is that they never say how many they're going to produce, so the pre-orders support how many they'll produce with supply/demand. How many KA3s will jump on the market? No one has any idea until the difficulty goes insane and we do the math after. Bitmain will continue to kill it selling pick axes and shovels as much as they can. If the D9 sales slow down, so will come the price (just like Jasminer has).
I've added Dash to the percentage increase sheet due to the D9, and in the last bullrun alone it went from $100.75 to $475.20 for a 471.66% increase, which is double the increase of Bitcoin. So between that, and it's longevity in the market, along with some of these longer standing coins like Dash, Litecoin, Vertcoin, Ripple, ect, that seen a lower increases in this last bullrun, possibly due to the popularity of Ethereum stealing the luster of these longer standing coins, we could see a nice increase yet in the upcoming bullrun on those coins. At my power rate, a D9 would almost pay itself back in a year at current rates. Even on a light estimate of only 170 Dash (current rate is 240) over the next year and a half (possible bullrun time) if it hit's it's 2021 bullrun price point of $475, that would still be around $80,000. Can that miner at that price point be worth it? It could.
@@DjMines I guess you can look at something like an L7 that's around $1000 less than a D9, but current profits on a L7 are far less than a D9 currently. You can probably put both in similar categories with Dash being an older coin like Doge/Litecoin, thus you might expect to see similar results in the next bullrun as well. Dash did trump Litecoin in percentage the last bullrun by around 150%, but question might be, do you think Doge will take another massive jump like it did at 14,735% or even half of that increase if you are holding for the next bullrun? Lot of questions to consider when looking at either of those 2 miners.
@@TheMoviebuff78 I would recommend going with one of the smaller ASIC's maybe around that $1,000ish or less price range as a first time buyer. Something like a Goldshell KD BOX Ⅱ, Jasminer X4-Z, Goldshell Mini Doge, Goldshell CK BOX II, or a handful of others smaller ASIC's, depending on what you want to might want to mine, and see how you feel about one of those before going into bigger ASIC's. Try to stick with something newer, probably one's that have come out more recently, over ASIC's that are 3/4/5 years old.
#Drywall See, that's the thing with ASICS. You never know when or if another better, more efficient one will come out. But that price is absurd no bs. They deff gotta decrease the price of that D9.
#DryWall I'm wanting to get into asics but everytime i turn around theres some beast machine upping the hashrate putting smaller cheaper machines out of business. The price of entry seems to get higher everyday
if you see all the dash miners non of them near it the closest one "from others" is the stu-u6 with less than 1$ 😂 at 0.1kw like WTF , this is way worse than the competition in gpu market #drywall
@@TswiftCrypto which pool do you mine on? Seems my miner stops mining every day. I don't see any errors in the logs. Just says low hash rate. When it stops is still pulls full power. It actually just stopped now
@@scenicshoots ka3 seems to have an issue with poolflare that causes the random disconnects. other users are having the same issue; this also happened with goldshell miners early on until they released a firmware update specifically for poolflare. until then your options are turn on inactive miner email notifications and restart the miner manually if it happens, or choose a different pool. dxpool is probably 2nd best but you should test your stratum pings to dxpool and f2pool

According to my calculations, that price point isn't that bad.

#drywall ❤ Bitmain just keeps dropping beasts
I'll have to break out my old D3 asic and mine a little before hashrate jumps!

I think because dash hasn’t had a new miner in years it makes producing them more risky. But dash is also established #drywall
Excellent video DJ, well done! #Drywall
I really bitmain isn’t trying to price point test people 8500 is insane. L7 for 8k is insane.
#JointCompound ;) Good stuff bro.
I know a guy who works over at Bitmain and he says the whole unit cost $800 to make lol 😅😅😅
Cool video!
#drywall new miner for Dash mean while you don't hear much about it and just keep hearing it's dead... Gunna be a mine and dump game?
