MANNY!!!....YOU ARE EVERYTHING IN THIS ALKALINE LIFE!!.....Im going to a barbecue this weekend with meat eaters...I can't wait to bring your recipes to them....It always gets people talking and very interested in what I'm eating...Thats what I'm talking about!!...changing lives one great recipe at a time!!!...Thank you friend!
Thank you Lisa! Wow, your comment just made my day. I'm so happy this channel gives me the opportunity to connect with wonderful people like yourself. I hope you enjoy the barbecue. I'm working on some more recipes that would have them drooling lol. Thank you so much for watching my videos and making my recipes 🙏🏿
That's wonderful! I'm glad you found my channel too. There's a whole lot more in the pipeline. I hope to be of great help during your family's transition. Thanks for your support 🙏🏿
Amazing !!! Also for a twist on this recipe: Use rosemary and a little something to make it spicy, and then make your fries and then make a homemade marinara for dipping ❤️
Happy to have found you 😊 love the look of those yummy chickpea chips and the Tom sauce 😋 definitely giving then a go very very soon😃 many thanks indeed❤
You never cease to impress me.😊 I just finished watching someone else on YT making chickpea fries. I thought mm ? Maybe they’re OK but then I came to your space and thought, I’M SOLD!!😁Thank you Manny.
I made these, but swapped the sage for a little sweet basil and oregano Just not a fan of sage besides going for a sausage flavor or for dressing/ stuffing. They came out really nice. The texture was great. Never knew I could make fries from chickpeas.
All praises to Yah!! So grateful I came across your channel!! I want to cut off meat for my child and I. And now it will be easier substituting meals for my baby since I introduced her to meat! 🤦🏽♀️
Reminds me of a recipe I saw for chickpea tofu (have not tried it yet). Chef’s seasonings sound yummy. The sauce is a must try with or w/o the fries! While I LOve anything fried in a pan, I wonder if these could be oven roasted or air fried. 🤔
Wow, I love your style! I tried panisse for the first time in France a few weeks ago; they are so yummy. I will try your method; beautiful and simple to follow - subbed :)
Thank you! 😊 I'm sure the version you had in France will taste way better 🤤 Fun fact: I've never tasted an original panisse. I hope you enjoy mine too 🤞🏿 Thanks a lot for subbing.
You're welcome Yogita! Since you're vegan and not Alkaline Vegan, you have room to play with a few other herbs and spices. Feel free to experiment. You'll be shocked at what you might unveil.
😅🤣😆 I know the feeling. Mine was imported from the Motherland (Africa). I added a link to the closest thing I could find in the description above. I'll update the link as I find better options.
Hi, I've added some links to the description box. You can check them out to see if they meet your needs. FYI They are my affiliate links. I forgot to add them after uploading the video. Thanks for the compliments and for reminding me.
This looks like a good recipe, but I do wonder for those of us trying to watch our oil intake if we can just bake it instead or use an air fryer & still get good results?
Don't worry. I already made a video that shows you how to make your Chickpea flour at home: ruclips.net/video/bOMdt_XiSJU/видео.html Now you don't have to buy it anymore 😉
I wonder if you could use the technique of boiling chickpea/gram flour in water to make a type of edible raw cookie dough. I've tried several different versions based around beans or legumes but they all use cooked or canned beans and they just don't work for me, they don't have that pliable, almost slightly chewy texture that raw dough had and they just end up a bit like a sweet hummus. Hmmm.
🙌🏿 Comrade! Lol @ air fryer cult. Nice one. Try 15 mins at 380°F. Meaning, flip it after 7 to 7.5 mins. It worked for someone else. Hope it comes out good for you too

Getting into chickpea alternatives, these look great. I was wondering if anyone has tried cooking them in an air fryer rather than a frying pan.

Just found your channel, this is amazing. Thank you 🙏🏽 Years ago I tried a recipe for Burmese tofu and it reminded me of that.
I'm glad you found my channel. Burmese tofu huh? That's interesting... I'll look it up.
@@Grubanny I bet you could do something delicious with your own take on it!

This is essentially what I know as burmese style tofu, or 'quick tofu' and its delicious. I make it all the time.
That's great to hear. Thanks for the information.

Praise the LORD for creating bread!

Thank you!
It looks so delicious. But it's a little bit labor intensive to me. But I might try at least once.
When making your chickpea batter what about using an immersion blender?
Wow 🤩 nice
Thank you 🙏🏿
Please tell me where you got that wodden spoon from. Im looking for one so I can make some fufu

This looks like a good recipe, but I do wonder for those of us trying to watch our oil intake if we can just bake it instead or use an air fryer & still get good results?
I was thinking about baking them in the oven just to cut down on my time standing over the stove. But less oil is also a great idea!
he noted on the video that you could just skip oil and bake
Can you please leave a link where to purchase your cooking utensils, bowls, everything LOL
Some days I ask myself if the alkaline diet people ever even looked at a ph scale
I don't think the non-alkaline vegan "people" do either 🤔 😕 😬
chickpea flower is very hard to find in european shops, unless in Indian shops
Don't worry. I already made a video that shows you how to make your Chickpea flour at home: ruclips.net/video/bOMdt_XiSJU/видео.html

Chickpea flour is also used in Italian and French cooking to make socca or farinata
@@claudiaharris187 I didn't know that. What's it called ? I guess in asian shops they will sell it too, but I've never seen it in regular supermarkets
Wow that's it looks fabulous can you oil them and bake
Thank you. Yes you can oil and bake them in an oven.

Oga how far nah, I have a question. How would amend the recipe for us who are in the air fryer cult?

Can these be baked instead of fried?
Can you use an air fryer?

Not sure what you mean
